This was me and my boyfriend 1st experience at a drag show and Lips Atlanta didn't disappoint. Our waitress Meetya was so exciting, fun and energetic to have at our table. Each performers had their own and unique style of excitement which some was fun that you had customers joining in and others were good, but could've been better. The food was ok. They started us out with mini blueberry muffins and had a pitcher of mimosa for your party to share, plus unlimited Bloody Mary. My boyfriend ordered the Blowjob shot and I tried some which I can say had the right amount of alcohol. FYI, they're not stingy on the alcohol. Like I mentioned, the food was ok. I had the Crab Benedict with sautéed diced potatoes and my boyfriend had the Jamaican vegetable curry. We both agree the food wasn't hot as we would have like, but you really pay more for the entertainment instead of the food. The floor space on the stage level is so cramped, everyone has a hard time getting to tables. Pro formers for tips, waiters to deliver food. Entertainment- they work their asses off. Even with that said, it is predictable. Many of the jokes and songs have been seen and done before. Again. This is an experience. Atmosphere, decent enough food. Drink before showing up. This was my second time at Lips and it lived up to my great memories from last time! My group of 7 went to Lips for the Sunday brunch show at 1:30. We called to make a reservation 3.5 weeks in advance. The shows do sell out so make your reservation early!! Doors open for brunch at 1:30. A line forms early, but it doesn't matter what time you get there because the tables are set in advance. However, the earlier you get there, the earlier you can get started drinking! Prices vary for the different shows. For Sunday brunch, it's $25.95 per person, which includes a Bloody Mary or Mimosa. You can upgrade to bottomless for $6 per person. They also have shots and cocktails for $10 each. My only complaint was that I did not get drunk at all and we did bottomless. The mimosas tasted and felt like 99% orange juice and 1% champagne. You obviously don't go to Lips for the food, but the food ain't bad! I got Chicken and Waffles and it was good. It's a great place to celebrate birthdays and bachelorettes. They really make them feel special by calling them up to the stage! Make sure to bring cash to tip the performers. They come around with $20 and $10 in paper clipped ones! Just bring the big bills and they have you covered. If you don't have cash, they do have ATMs. I brought $20 and it was the perfect amount. I gave to each performer and then added whatever was left to the tip jar they put on the tables at the end. Our total ended up being $43 per person. Tip is included. They put the total on the check and they also put what it comes out to per person. They take up to 4 credit cards per check. The easiest thing to do is put it on 1 credit card and then everyone can just Venmo or Paypal or Zelle or CashApp that person. I spent $43 plus the $20 in tips to the performers. For a wonderful drag show, $63 is well worth it! I love Lips. I highly recommend. read more

I didn't know what to expect so I would say our crew was very happy with our venture out to Lips! My mom wanted to check it out so we made it an adult family outing. The hostess of the show was very entertaining and played with the crowd. The fixtures and decor made the event even better as it went with the show. A lot of lights, disco balls and interesting pictures. I loved the hall of pictures of the performers. We had the bottomless mimosas, they leave the pitcher, and they were pretty good but the peach margarita was much better and at $5 a good deal. Honestly the performance wasn't good and nor was the costumer service. I tried calling 4 times and no one ever picked up the phone and they don't even have the hours on google you have to go to open table and do the most to see if they are even open and available for you to make a reservation. I went and they told me I did not have a reservation, I was still "able" to go inside and sit at a table but the service was horrible. What a great night from start to finish- they have this as a well oiled machine and we were legit impressed with the whole ordeal Arrive only 5-10 mins early or you will be waiting outside. The show was much more composed and classy than what we were used to and it was nice to switch it up. I feel smaller town drag queens have a certain hustle I love- more splits and crowd interaction. I visited Lips this past weekend with some friends while visiting Atlanta. Lots of free parking, and the traffic was not horrible on this side of town. Reservations was easy, they do sell out, so don't be disappointed. We were seated quickly and given the run down of the "Dragalicious Gospel Brunch". Food Service & Waitress: 1* The brunch was $17,95 fixed price, plus $5 cover charge with 1 Mimosa or Bloody Mary drink. The waiter never explained that each Mimosa after that was $6, they were very much watered down. He kept filing the glass but never said how many were being charged. I had chicken and waffles which were not good at all, the waffles were greasy you can actually see the grease in pic, the chicken dry and burnt tasting. Chicken sandwich dry to the bone. I believe they fried the waffles, never seen anything like it before. Needless to say I wasted money on food, waitress never asked if the food was good or not. I left my whole plate with the food on the table. I was warned to watch your bill at the end from a few others that have been. When we got our bill they were right, overcharged Mimosas and 20% gratuity added to the end. It should be my choice what I wanna give as a tip. I don't get tips at my job in the emergency room while Im slanging over a patient saving lives, on my feet for 13hrs ...I wont go there though. I actually read reviews that said the food was good, SMH. Tip: Make sure the girls to explain everything and don't leave anything out. The customer shouldn't be surprised at the bill. Be honest. For my first time at a drag show it was definitely a good time. The interior is SPECTACULAR! They did an amazing job with the decor. So Diva and the attention to detail is spot on! I did not expect to come and have amazing food so for what we got I think it was good. The food comes out quick given that it's a set menu and also bc the servers are also the performers. The mixed drinks are ABSOLUTELY terrible! Thank God they have a full bar and you can go order beer and wine. For the performances make sure to get money to tip. Our group of ladies came here for my sister's 35th birthday 2 months ago. We've been looking forward to it and it didn't fail at all from beginning to end. I love how the ambiance was perfect, not crowded, and all the performers (who were also servers) had us rolling on the floor laughing. First time attending, I came with my grandmother as something to experience. I truly believe my seating played a huge factor in my experience. We were sat stage right, and it was super close to the stage but awkward to watch at times. The ladies would perform the beginning of the routine within the curtains making it impossible to see what was going on. I recommend being sat in the balcony to see everything going on. Another tip is to arrive right at the "scheduled time" - we arrived at 1:15 for the 1:30 show and waited outside for 15ish mins. What I love is the set price for the food and mimosa/bloody Mary's/soft drinks/tea -- however if you're looking to taste your alcohol, just bite the bullet and buy a drink. The mimosas were light for alcohol content. Additionally, the food was on the colder side. I ordered chicken and waffles, they were pretty good, while my grandma ordered the crab cake - we swapped to try one another's dish. If you don't like crab cakes with filling, I would not recommend ordering if you like full crab cakes. Bring cash for tipping, and take lots of pictures. Once you get there you can check in and then they will call your name and lead you to your table. Service - The service was okay and there were times I had to grab the server to refill our water or mimosas. Food/drinks - They give your table a small basket of pastries/muffins and it was great. I got the cheeseburger with fries and the portion was huge! The burger was very over done and dry for my liking but there was this orange sauce that was so delicious. The bottomless mimosas were good but I wish they would put more champagne into them because it go to a point where there was so much liquid in my stomach and I wasn't tipsy. Came here with some work colleague's for the 7 o'clock show on a Friday night and we had a great experience. The Doors open at 6:30 so you can head to the bar prior. *Sidenote* if you are a lightweight only order the more fruity girly drinks and only have like one possibly two if you eat because hunny the bartenders got that long pour! The parking is valet $10 to park up front. But I took a Lyft. After 30mins the host will call your party and seat your party. Once seated our waitress greeted us pretty quickly. She was very nice, I was looking a little more sass. Anyway we put our appetizers in and I'm not kidding we blinked about three times and they came out. But I'm not complaining because I was hungry and the kitchen was really on their jobs! For the table we shared spinach dip, garlic bread, potstickers, and wings. All were really good I really liked the potstickers and I really enjoyed the garlic bread the most mainly because I ordered a pasta dish and could sop up the sauce. For my main entrée I was indecisive, but I asked our waitress about the shrimp alfredo and she said it was named after her. So naturally I ended up getting it, and I'm glad I did because I thought it was delicious needed some salt and pepper but after that I almost ate the entire thing. The show was fabulous! Fantastic experience! We got to check out the Divas show and I brought my little sibling (17). There were plenty of food and drink options. Dessert was limited but the Queens are so sweet that we didn't mind. The banter was a little risqué but nothing you wouldn't hear in a public high school. No nudity or burlesque. There's an opportunity for birthdays and bachelorettes to be acknowledged and it was cute and entertaining without making the people who weren't celebrating feel left out. Gratuity is included so no need to do math (thank you!). But be sure to bring cash to tip your Queens. I'd like to see a King or two in the future. read more
