I don't quote understand why the map has this business as being located Downtown. As the name and…read moreaddress suggests, it's located in Lyndon. Ah, the internet... As I was driving around the ever-increasing expanse of the East End, I got a call on my Batphone that my friends were gathering for good conversation, pizza and other noshables. Excellent. The only thing missing: libations. Not wanting to drive all around looking for a liquor store (and wanting to get something along the way), I spied with my eagle eye a strip mall... with a liquor store. Lyndon? Is this you? I remember when I was a kid going to the dusty comic book store across the street or roller-skating at Camelot a few blocks down. Now, the street's widened and people can get choice libations. In Lyndon. Look what we can do, Louisville. And, look indeed. LS&L is taking advantage of the fact that this sleepy part of town has awakened. I found the bottle prices $1-$2 more than they should be. But, hey: nice work if you can get it. The owners have obviously invested time and money into the store. The selection is rather impressive. It's definitely enough to impress the wine/beer snob in your group. I love discovering more nooks and crannies of my hometown. It's great to see Lyndon with some vibrancy. If you're in the area, grab a couple of bottles but take some time to peruse the selection... and know that you're spending a tad more than you should be.
