I give Liquor World 5 stars for convenience, but 4 stars on pricing. It's always clean in here, so that's a plus, and the staff is always helpful and nice. The selection is decent, and the location is perfect, with a free private parking lot. Decent pricing compared to other liquor stores in the area, but could stand to be a little lower. Walked in and was told by the female employee that I had to leave my purse on an unattended rack at the front of the store. The reason was because she thought it was a backpack. I explained that it was not a backpack, it was a purse. She told me it wasn't. She did not tell the woman that walked in ahead of me to leave her purse that was the same size as mine, different shape, to leave her purse unattended. Too bad as they are one of the few stores to carry Jack Daniels Coy Hill, which is specifically what my husband and I were looking for. Word of advice for tourists: Liquor World is horribly over-priced and word is cabs and Uber drivers get a kickback for bringing people here. So if you ask your driver to take you to a Liquor store and they tell you Liquor World is the best place in town, you're being hustled. There's a 711 in the same strip mall and a CVS across the street with much better prices. read more

The store sells defective, low-quality products and refuses to exchange them! 15 minutes ago I made a purchase of a vape in this store. The price was $ 27. I unpacked and the vape was defective, the seller was with me and saw it, he exchanged it for another vape, we opened the second vape and it was also defective. I asked to return my money, he refused and gave me a 3rd vape, but I saw that it did not work either. I left the store and realized that the seller had deceived me, this third vape did not work either. I came back and said to give me another one or return my money. the seller told me No. I asked to call the manager and watch the cameras to see what happened 5 minutes ago in the store. We opened 3 vapes and it was defective. The seller said that he was manager here, then I asked how I could contact the store owner and report that the store was selling defective, fake goods. The seller said that he was the owner of the store. Another saleswoman came and started to kicked me out of the store, started yelling. Maybe she was not sober, she had very inadequate behavior. The second saleswoman also started to kicked me out. I want this information to reach the store owner, I have never seen such a rude attitude! Nice place, very near all the houses with nothing else nearby. Has a decent bar inside which makes it the closest bar to my home :) but its hours is tied to the store. Workers are constantly seeing if u need help. Prices are a good $5-10 above lee's liquor, which is the source of the negative point. If I am in desperate need of alcohol during a party, failed in my hostess duties and did not prepare appropriately for alcohol.. I'd definitely send someone for emergency alcohol here! read more

The large neon pink bottle in the front parking lot is what caught my attention to this business. The neon pink bottle gives customers an allure of glitz and glam with alcohol, but it is just a typical liquor store. The prices are reasonable for the strip. They also have a great selection of airline bottles that are a little higher than normal, but one is paying for convenience. The selection of beverages that are not alcoholic are abundant too as well as different brands of water. Overall, not a bad place for this store and the neon pink bottle in their parking lot makes for great photo ops. read more

Cons- Bought a bottle of Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, 1 container of regular lemonade and 1 small container of black tea and it came out to 56.00 dollars...I asked the lyft driver for a recommendation and he drove me here..I didn't want to drive all over the city especially since I was already late to the hotel but - what a rip off. Just looked at the price of the bottle on the Total Wine website and it was 14.99...the mark up is insane. I learned my lesson, will go somewhere else next time even if it takes a little longer. *Just saw another review about the Lyft driver getting a kickback. So unethical, I feel the same way about my experience. read more

I experienced the same scam as well with my Uber driver from the airport who suggested that we go here for alcohol. Not knowing any better, I agreed. Their prices are actually higher than the CVS on The Strip. On my way back to the airport, I rode in a Lyft (different driver) and I told him Liquor World is more expensive than CVS. He said it's not and that he even buys his alcohol there. Looks like this is a widespread scam. DO NOT GO HERE, especially if your Uber or Lyft driver suggests it. The guy asked if there was something wrong as we put our selections back after considering the prices and I said, "you're just too expensive." and another guy says, "you'll pay three times that in a casino".
