OMG... this is what KPot WISHES it was. First off, Li's Hot Pot & BBQ is HUGE. The second you walk in, the place feels upscale, spacious, clean, and surprisingly peaceful. Even with how big and popular it is, the wait time was less than 5 minutes. The menu is absolutely massive and the prices are honestly amazing for what you get. Around $30 for either hot pot or KBBQ, or $38 for BOTH?! That's actually insane value. And it doesn't even start with the meats -- you first get access to a huge appetizer menu INCLUDED in the price. Firecracker shrimp, spring rolls, gyoza, wings, squid balls... and so much more. It already felt worth it before the BBQ even came out. Now the KBBQ selection? RIDICULOUS. Of course they had the classics like steak, chicken, and bulgogi, but they also had chicken wings, lamb, scallops, blue crab, chicken gizzards, and so many premium meat options. What I loved most is that the meats were already cut and seasoned perfectly, so everything tasted flavorful right away. The sauce and salad bar may not be the biggest, but the variety is crazy. Tons of sauces, pre-made combinations, and seasonings to customize everything exactly how you want it. Plus unlimited fried rice and white rice made fresh to order, which made a huge difference. To top everything off, they had fresh fruit, amazing ice cream, premium drinks like boba tea and smoothies, AND a full bar. Went with a large party to this restaurant and had a pretty big lunch. It's a pretty big place with plenty of seating. I'll start with the service which is very good because they have to explain a lot and put up with a lot of questions. They were very good at both. I got the hot pot option and you have ALOT of choices. You heat up the broth and vegetables, seafood, and meat yourself which is pretty neat. You can control how long your food cooks and how hot you like your food. I am not usually a fan of this but the food was good. If you like this kind of restaurant I think you will be happy. They also had a salad and food bar which I actually liked more than the hot pot. If you're looking to have a fun time with a large group this is a good option. read more

Went to Li's Hot Pot & BBQ for dinner on a Friday. They were pretty busy, but we were seated quickly with no wait. The restaurant is large, there is a small buffet area with appetizers and a sauce station. Li's is an all you can eat hot pot and BBQ place. You order most everything from your server and they bring it to your table. I really enjoyed their Langzhou beef broth, which other hot pot places in the area do not have. But the selection of their hotpot items is fairly limited in comparison to other places in the area. Li's shines with the selection of proteins they have available for the KBBQ grill as well as hot pot. My favorites were the ribeye steak, the lamb rolls, fatty beef rolls, the cumin lamb, garlic shrimp, and jumbo sea scallops. The price for hot pot and KBBQ was only $38 per person, which is cheaper than other restaurants in the area. Service was quick and friendly. Plus there's plenty of parking. Dessert is just a freezer full of ice cream, but it's still worth it. I would definitely return. read more

Went here with friends on a Saturday night. They don't take reservations but the wait wasn't too bad. We opted for barbecue only. It's BYOB. The options and service were pretty good the buffet for sides and sauces was decent as well. Only drawn back was it gets very smoky in there and be prepared for clothing etc to have that cooking area smell. I recommend leaving jackets in the car no coat check plus will save your coat from needing to be cleaned. Definitely holds its own as this style spot read more

Wowzaaaa hotpotttt wowzaaa! We almost did both, but it only means we HAVE to go back to do the bbq next. It was absolutely freezing out and we were delighted to hit this as a new date night spot (double date with the sister!). Firstly, I love that this place has tables and life to it during a random Tuesday evening. There's honestly nothing worse as toddler parents and paying for a sitter to go out and the place is dead where you feel obligated (if not forced) to rush. Not the case here! We even shut the place down and again, we're not rushed. The service was super helpful. We inquired about how it all worked, naturally, but even with understanding the different broths. It was an experience both at the same time casual yet elevated. Lots of families here but the way it's situated it was just adding to the vibes (I know KIDS !? I think it's the way the sound travels with the high ceilings, it just feels bustling rather than chaotic). Anyway, the food was absolutely fresh, the service was top notch and friendly. It is BYOB. My family came here for lunch on a Saturday for all you can eat barbecue and Hot Pot and we had such a great experience. Our server Jacob was so attentive and so nice and really took care of us. Yummy hot pot spot on 46! Stopped here with the family for a Sunday night dinner. We were seated right away. If you're coming down 46 East you need to make sure you're in that right lane because that parking lot entrance sneak up on you. We did the hot pot + BBQ combo. They had soo many sauces and a solid amount of apps in the buffet (crab Rangoon, dumplings, fried rice, stir fry noodles etc). They did not change out our hot plate at all though which was odd. I came on a friday night for dinner with a friend. I love hot pot & bbq so I was excited to try this new place. The decor inside were really cute. There's a bunch of lanterns all around the restaurant. There is also this giant drum at the entrance when you come in. It was a little busy but that's to be expected on a friday night. There was a 20 minute wait but as soon as we got seated and ordered, everything came out really fast. The staff was really nice. The server gave us some good suggestions. I was seated by the boba bar, and I got to see how they make their boba teas. Since their teas were very popular, I decided to try one. I got the green apple Green Tea with green apple jelly and it was delicious. We decided to do hot pot and as my base, I got the thai tom yum broth. It was perfect for this cold weather. It had a little kick to it but it's not overly spicy. I also made sure to try their hot appetizer bar. It had shumai, crab wonton, lo mein, fried rice, fried dumplings, assorted sauces, salads and desserts. They also have a freezer with little ice creams in it (can only eat them if you're dining in, not for takeout). It has a large parking lot so you should be good with parking. While they do have a none- hotpot/BBQ menu for lunch, they only have one price for hot pot/ BBQ. I'm a younger senior, and maybe what people pay for lunch these days is not what I'm used to but $33.99 for lunch is a bit over the top. They say you get 2 hours of all you can eat, but who has 2 hours for lunch? I had a piece of steak which was chewy even cooked rare, and fatty. And you would think that $34 lunch would include a beverage? Nope $3 for a diet Pepsi. (Really). The veg I ordered looked fresh and were good. The second meat I had was spicy pork belly and that was really good. With that I grilled some pineapple. Was disappointed that it was canned pineapple. This place is great. You're greeted with hanging I think they're Chinese lamps and huge wooden decor and other really nice Asian artwork. You have 3 choices, soup, bbq. Or soup and bbq. Everyone in your party has to have the same choices. You get to choose from a variety of meats and vegetables which you can grill on a grill in front of you or cook in the broth boiling infront of you. I love being able to make my own sauce with all the choices available in the sauce bar. You're not rushed to eat. It's an all you can eat. For Dessert the lychee is plump and juicy. Split review: High marks for food quality, variety and value. The place is very clean. The experience, especially as a first timer, can range from confusing to potentially dangerous without a well-informed/engaged server. Our server was nice but offered no guidance at all. The grill part was easy enough to figure out but we didn't have the hot pot warmers on correctly, we asked and she pushed a button on one then walked away. We were not at all confident that the raw seafood in the hot pot was cooked properly and in fact as we were leaving, we saw other tables with boiling pots (using the heating element properly) we were quite concerned that we had potentially consumed undercooked seafood. Moreover, the beef and butter broth I ordered indicated a level 2 spicy on the menu (tiny font which I missed-my fault) but this spice level was beyond!!! Holy cow! Perhaps just a quick confirmation from the server would be prudent before serving that amount of spice. The meal was over for me at that point. Went during soft opening and we really enjoyed everything about this place. We've been eyeing this place since they started construction and finally got to go in. It's a typical asian hotpot and barbecue spot but here are the things that stood out: 1. Positive: The place was clean and ambiance was nice. 2. Positive: We were greeted with a warm hello and seated right away. Our server was amazing unfortunately I forgot her name. (Her name starts with an 'H') 3. Positive: Sauce selection was vast. I would suggest though that they separate it from the desserts because some people tend to mix the serving utensils. I also might suggest a little guide for people in making some dip combinations. I saw it on another restaurant and I feel that helped me a lot. 4. Positive: Easy to order... at least when it was less busy. Maybe when the restaurant identifies their peak times, maybe they can staff accordingly. In our case, we got taken care of appropriately. 5. Negative: Kimchi wasn't up to my expectation. I am a heavy Kimchi enthusiast and they probably need to change the kimchi dealer. 6. Positive: Food selection was very wide (at least for hotpot) and I tried ordering everything on the menu but my stomach couldn't handle. 7. Positive: Bathrooms are clean! As expected on a newly constructed place. 8. Positive: Ample parking especially when this place gets busy. 9: Positive: THEY HAVE A BAR!!!! Although I haven't tried it yet, the bar looks well stocked. 10. Positive: There were numerous choices for broth for hotpot. Funny thing is that when we asked to have our broth topped off, the taste got even better! This review only pertains to the k-bbq as I did not try their hotpot. While the flavor of the meats were good, they were way too salty to the point where it ruined the experience for me. The pan also burned extremely quickly and I ended up inhaling lots of smoke before the pan was able to be switched out. Excellent marinated meats which were decent quality for AYCE. The meat was not super fatty. The spicy chicken bulgolgi was tender and flavorful. Service was attentive and friendly. Thank you......a take out menu was added! 2 months ago....Different management...My friend and I ate their and within 1 hour of arriving home, WE WERE BOTH SICK. I called the restaurant, and the manager was rude and accused me of not cooking my food well enough! There are NO VISIBLE Signs on the table to indicate proper cooking time!
