7 of us 5 adults and 2 kids, we came around 4:30 on Sunday for hot pot ayce dinner. The restaurant was already pretty busy , so we were glad that we got there early and not having to wait for a table. We were told there's no table for 7 people. My son 4 year old and I will have to share a pot. I was surprised that they charged me for my son because he did not get his own pot and how they seated us was so tight and uncomfortable. They don't have a table for 7, they claimed. So I had to share my pot with my little one, which is kinda dumb and took the fun out of the experience for my son. Done with my whining, now on to the food, the seafood was actually extremely fresh last night!so I have no complaint lol waitresses were pretty attentive. Sauce bar has everything you need.

My first time the experience was super cool. Good thing I went with someone who knew what they were doing as there wasn't much guidance. The have a bar to make your own dipping sauce with some options to choose from. All of the food seemed fresh and we were served quick. They were attentive when you were ready to add more stuff on. Seemed relatively clean for being an all you can eat style. They had self serve ice cream in tubs, that was the only thing I would say could have used a clean up through the night. Regardless I would go back, the food was good and fresh and the staff was quick.

Decent spot for hot pot or K BBQ. We did both. Going forward for me I would recommend doing one or the other it's good to have the option for both but doesn't make sense especially when you can just ask for more meat or veg. Service was decent. Good bargain. No liquor only downside but not the end of the world. Some complain about the wait due to no reservations. Was not the case for me this time

Yum!!! Always love this spot and great options. The spicy broth is really good. Tge sauce bar is also great with many options. It is always busy so be sure to get there early. Also really great pricing. Highly recommend!!

We came here on a Friday for lunch in late December. We were there exactly when it opened, about half an hour later, it was packed. Our goal was to try many different hot place places and this was on the list. Everyone gets their own pot so those germophobes, no need to worry about other sharing other people's saliva. The spicy soup base is hot, so beware. I have a high tolerance for spicy but this one fits the bill of being spicy. Hot pot menu was quite standard and what you would expect for a hot pot place. The sauce station is quite small, it does have the standard stuff like sa cha, garlic, cilantro, sriracha etc. Service is mediocre, though the waiter did come by enough to check up on us, the things that I ordered either never came or they gave me too much or too little, so it was kind of hard to order. Place is kept clean and bathrooms were clean as well. It's in the middle of a giant strip mall, shop rite is super close for an after meal walk. Parking is plenty. Close to the highway.

Our sever was amazing. I came in with a large group and they were fast and efficient with taking orders. The meats were high quality and so delicious. My favorite aspects was the individual hotplates for each customer on the tables and the 9+ broth options. The sauce selection was the biggest I have seen at a hot pot restaurant. The ice cream selection included this matcha flavor that became my favorite.

If you are looking for a fun, different dinner, this is the place to go. You get a bowl of broth, you choose how spicy, and also can bbq. The food comes out raw and you cook it in the broth or on the grill on the table. The service is very efficient and attentive. There are all kinds of sauces to make your meat and vegetable Choices as you like. I would come back and recommend and recommend this place to others. It is crowded and they do not take reservations.

Really cool experience!! Had a group of 6 people and we all did the Hot Pot/BBQ combo. The service was very speedy getting all of the ingredients to our table. Only issue our group had was that it was pretty crowded in the restaurant, so we were a bit cramped in our table.

For $25.99/person for hot pot on a weekend dinner, it's a steal! Good quality meats, the meats and vegetables all looked fresh. Took about 45mins to get a table for 2 on a Saturday night, but I think it's worth the wait. Didn't feel super long. The place was clean, a bit loud but not too bad. We saw that they had three VIP rooms, pretty nice.

BBQ sampler platter (chicken wings, pulled pork, brisket, ribs) w/ sides of Mac and Cheese w/ Bacon and Baked Beans. 2. Half-rack rips platter w/ sides of sweet potatoes + more mac and cheese 3. Quarter leg smoked chicken. Why is this a 5-star restaurant? No. 1 and ALWAYS most important to any BBQ place review -- the brisket was incredibly moist. Had a good friend recently tell me I needed to come back, so we did. Tonight we ordered a half rack of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, and the pulled pork Mac-n-cheese. In a word, the food was fantastic. I've had BBQ in a LOT of places and also have my own smoker that I've gotten pretty good at using it so I know good BBQ...and this is good BBQ. The ribs were delicious - cooked perfectly the way the want them in competition...not fall off the bone, but with a little bite, and the flavor was great. Amazing bark on the outside with tender meat on the bone. The pulled pork sandwich was so tender and delicious that I wish I didn't have to share it with Wifey. And their homemade BBQ sauce is absolutely great...a little spice on the back of the tongue, but still sweet without being overly sweet (they have four kinds, but I only wanted the traditional). The pulled pork Mac-n-cheese was very rich but full of flavor with a nice breadcrumb topping as well. Each platter also came with cole slaw, something often overlooked by BBQ places, but not here. Very tasty, very fresh, though I think it needed a pinch of salt. I do wish we had gotten some cornbread, but honestly, we walked away very full. The service here is super friendly and our food came pretty quickly...and I really love the layout and vibe here. I spoke to the owner about how much I loved the food tonight and how it was such a difference from my first experience. I'm so glad we came back. The people behind the counter all seem to LIKE what they're doing...and that means a lot. Real BBQ places are always pricey, because you aren't paying for just the food, your paying for the hours and hours and hours of cooking it takes to get the food to taste as good as it does and to be tender. You can't take shortcuts with BBQ. So yeah, Embark isn't cheap, but if there's one thing I've discovered over the years it's that you DON'T want cheap BBQ. Embark is a BYOB place so bring your favorite beer, order some great food, and sit with friends savoring the deliciousness. I will NOT wait this long to come back again.

I ordered the 2-meat sampler with brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was awesome, super tender and packed with flavor. The BBQ sauce really complemented the meats. The pulled pork was also very good, but the brisket was definitely the star. The mac and cheese was just okay. The breadcrumbs on top made the mac and cheese a bit soggy. Portions were a bit small for the price. Overall, I thought my meal was good but I would definitely come back just for that brisket.
