The fries were light but creamy and a generous portion. They need to update the speaker situation. I'll be back.

It was a hot summer day in Findlay, OH. I was on my lunch break and searched the local food options to satiate my hunger. And what would appear in my options but CAPTAIN D's, and it was relatively close. "Why Not? How bad could it be?" I asked myself, not knowing what horrors awaited me in the near future. Let me describe my experience. Upon entering the driveway my attention was instantly grabbed by a sign advertising "Chicken Torpedoes". The image of two chicken tenders resting on toast enticed me. I could not resist the temptation. I would indulge in the Torpedoes, with a large Fruit punch, and a side of jalapeno poppers. Upon concluding my order, I proceeded forward to receive my object of sustenance. BUT I DIDN'T!! In fact I first sat in the same spot in line for approximately 10 minutes as I waited for the person in front of me to receive their order. (INTERLUDE) (Side note) If I were the people running the drive through, I would've moved the person to a parking spot to wait for their food so the line could keep going. But that's just me. (Cont'd) Finally I arrived at the window, the server was decent enough in temperament, but not what I would call pleasant. I was given a drink of great size (which I was pleasantly surprised by) and was met by the grand smell of the jalapeño poppers. I was immediately excited to indulge. I drove quickly to my place of work to devour my feast. Upon arriving at my place of work, I could not wait to indulge in my feats of chicken, fries, and poppers. I sat myself down, placed out the box that contained my food. I opened the lid in eager expectation, awaiting the glorious meal I had been promised. The moment of truth had come... AND BOY WAS IT DISAPPOINTING!!! Firstly: There was only one torpedo. The description clearly said "TWO TORPEDOES"!!! I HAD BEEN SWINDLED, HOODWINKED, BAMBOOZLED, SMECKLEDORFED!!! Secondly: COLD FRIES (that's all) Thirdly: Bun soggier than my grandma's socks after an evening walk. (That's pretty dang soggy in case you didn't know) and two flimsy little pickles settled on it. The only saving grace of this pit of despair was the Jalapeño poppers. They were alright, but not enough justify the currency I had distributed to purchase this abomination they called FOOD! I hope you are happy Captain D's, CAUSE I'M NOT!!! My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined! 2/10 (1 point for the drink size, and 1 point for the poppers).

Let me start by saying I grew up eating at red lobster establishments. But in the greater Cleveland…read morearea. I took my husband there 2.5.26 for his 70 th birthday. We both ordered the salmon, shrimp was, lobster plate. I know cooked food and I know over cooked and under cooked seafood. We started with our beverage I asked for a glass of house wine. Waitress suggested a type of blackberry sangria tasted like blackberry syrup good but barely enough wine. When our order came I could see the shrimp was 1/2 grilled and cold, the lobster was so over cooked we couldn't even get it out of the shell (precooked and flash frozen) without making a scene my fork flew across the table into my husband plate funny yes when looking at the salmon the bottom was so seared, it was hard not crusty but crunchy if we would have tried to eat it. The waitress came and asked us how were our first bites? My husband said disgusting! She said sry and walked away only to return with our $118.00 check! I never mind spending money on a night out. But I expect great food something to brag about something that stays in my memory of delicious! The best part of our dinner was my baked potato and Brussels sprouts, my husband's was his rice- he had to wait for the mashed potatoes which he brought home, we both brought our food home hoping to pick through it for our dogs. I will never return to red lobster again. I was more hurt that my husband had a horrible birthday dinner we can't celebrate 70 again! My husband said we should have gone to apple bees or cheddars. As I shared with my friend my experience, he said red lobster used to be the place! He agreed about the small tails flash frozen then probably microwaved. I explained I try to get my husband to pick a lobster, $50 no worries but to think how it would have been cooked or under cooked! I give a no star for food but a 1 star for service and I left her a $10 tip Thanks but no thank, I won't be returning EVER!
