The eyebrow tint and threading I received were ok (not the best), but I was very disappointed by the customer service here. I arrived on time for my appointment, and there was a client midway through a service. I had to wait 15 minutes, which isn't a huge deal, but there wasn't any acknowledgement of my appointment time or even a "welcome in". When I was told to sit down, Rekha proceeded to take a lot of photos of my face, and though there is a sign on the wall stating that these pictures are for educational purposes, I felt much more like a marketing tool than a valued client. I immediately noticed her using the same, unwashed brush on my face that she had used on her previous client. She talked herself up a lot and made some insensitive comments about how next time I could be "brave" and have my upper lip done. She also interrupted my service about halfway through to take care of a quick walk-in, which, again, wouldn't be a huge deal if she had been more polite about it. The end of the service felt rushed to me, which was probably because there was a long line of people waiting. Rekha had apparently booked two clients for the same appointment slot and also told a few others who had called that she had time for walk-ins. I know that mistakes happen, but she really didn't seem to care much, and it was very chaotic. I had also scheduled an eyelash tinting with her, which she forgot about and said she didn't have time for. At that point, though, I was happy to get out of there. TL;DR: Ok, not great threading and eyebrow tint, terrible customer service and subpar cleanliness.

My technician was efficient, she asked me what I wanted first and was very thorough taming my bushy eyebrows. She applied witch hazel at the end and the entire process took about 10-15 minutes. Do note that there is not tip line on the receipt, so be sure to bring cash! I walked here, so I can't vouch for parking, but I did notice a parking garage just up the street. I'll definitely make this my regular spot while I'm in Providence.

She is also fully to blame for me being stopped regularly by strangers asking about my color. It's a good thing I'm friendly. She introduced me to ballyage and, people, I may never be the same again. She somehow gets my red to stick. This is NOT easy, and I usually walk into the salon looking as glossy auburn as I did when I walked out 4 weeks earlier. I am in love with her. Until I thought about it and asked for an itemized breakdown. Turns out I was charged for two haircuts. Also you can book a cut and color but you end up with highlight a glaze and no haircut. They just do whatever they can charge most for in the time they have. Also very hard sell on products and lectured that if you don't buy products at the salon your hair won't last. Also some stylist require you to stay absolutely still for the entire 4 hour visit. The blame issues on bad color cut or timing on of you move in the chair. It expensive with no perks. No changing room no coat check. No water or coffee. Over priced budget service and every single person leaving the salon has the same cut and color.
