I've been coming here for about a year and half and have had 2 bad experiences. First time I was disappointed, I was sat in a chair upon walking in. Waited about 40 minutes before getting up quietly and leaving, later returning. I did notice they were busy but there's wasn't any transparency as to how far backed up they were. If they had said it was going to be a long wait I wouldn't be writing about this right now. I explained to one of the ladies that if they valued they're customers, they should be up front and tell people if they are running behind. The lady stared at me with a smirk and repeated "mhm" 10 times before I paid for my services and left. I gave them a second chance, and that was a mistake. 2nd time I came in, 2 ladies were working on 2 customers and 1 was at the desk. So they sat me in a chair. A couple came in after me for a wax and the lady at the desk took them in the other room. A gentleman came in after me and sat in a chair. One of the ladies finished with the already customers and asked who was next, the lady pointed at the man and started with him. Mind you I was already in a chair for 10 minutes before he came in. All 3 of the ladies saw me come in first. They pleaded for me to come back and sit down, making the gentleman uncomfortable and he offered for the lady doing his brows, to stop doing his and he would wait so she could do mine. Why let it get to that point? I was pretty bothered. I was begged to come back for a second time but I will not spend another dollar here. I HIGHLY suggest a more EFFICIENT system and a bit more TRANSPARENCY. Value your customers time. 2 stars bc most of them do a good eyebrow thread. P.s if they spot any impurities on your face while you're in the chair, they'll embarrass you if front of others just so you get a facial done by them. read more

I had a back wax here and was very disappointed. First, their website said the price was $30. They charged me $65 which was bad, but I would have been ok with if the service was good. It was not. She was super rough and frenzied with the waxing. I've had it done many times and it's never been that painful, I usually actually enjoy it. A lot of sticky wax was left on afterward which made getting a shirt on/off quit the challenge. The place is old,dingy and dirty looking. Do yourself a favor, for their prices you can go to a nice spa for your services. read more

I attend church in the area, after leaving service on Saturday 12/11 I thought I'd try out this establishment. I had an upcoming birthday on 12/14 and wanted to get my eyebrows cleaned up as well as eyelashes. The service appeared good and was fast. The woman who did my lashes was friendly and we chatted as she worked about it being my birthday. Another woman came over on two occasions to give her guidance and suggestions on my eyelashes. They looked fine when I was done. Not my normal eyelash extensions but not terrible for individuals. My total was $43 and I paid $50 including a tip. The issue arises when the morning of my birthday which was Tuesday, 12/14 came. My left lash came off in big chunks, about 85% of my lash came off. It had only been 4 days. I get eyelashes regularly and have for years so I know how to maintain them. Eyelashes professionally done coming off within 4 days is unacceptable. The woman who performed my services had advised me that if this occurred to just come back and they will fill the gaps and suggested not to remove the entire eyelash. This is exactly what I did. I had to go out of my way on my birthday and make another trip from my home to the shop which is about a 15-20 minute drive. It was an inconvenience on my special day and I had planned. Upon entering, I was told to have a seat in the chair right away. The woman who was giving the guidance on my initial visit greeted me and inquired what I was in for today. I explained that I had just been there on Saturday and then pointed at my lash. She walked around trying to locate the supplies that were needed to service me. There was a woman receiving what looked to be a facial in the chair next to me. The woman who is supposed to be assisting me then asks if I have 5 minutes so she can rinse off her facial products. Needless to say, it took longer than 5 minutes. Why sit me in the chair if you're not ready to service me?? Any who, she fixes my left eyelash and says "now they should last 3 weeks". She speaks to a co-worker next to her in their language. That co-worker then walks me to the front and is going toward the cash register. I ask her, oh I'm sorry I owe a fee? She says yes you got a fill. A fill??? Are you kidding me??? A fill is typically in 2 weeks or so; I was just there on Saturday and it's now Tuesday. She said and I quote "they don't guarantee lashes". The woman who fixed my lashes literally just said they should last 3 weeks now. The woman could see that I was irritated, she acts like she's doing me a favor by saying we normally charge $15 for a fill but I'll charge you $10. Don't get me wrong, $10 is not a ton of money but it's the principle! The woman who initially did my lashes may have been new, why else would she need someone to advise her. Good customer service would have been to correct the issue with no additional charge. So in total I paid $60 plus my time and gas for basic individual lashes that normally cost $30-$40. I get top notch eyelash extensions for $65+ at Klassy Lashes and Threading located at 425 E Roosevelt Rd, Lombard, IL 60148. And they last!!! I didn't want to have to drive from Romeoville to Lombard and was looking for a new eyelash place since I'm new to the area but this place definitely won't be it. Horrible customer service and I won't be returning. And I'll be glad to share my experience with my fellow mega church members. read more

Worst experience ever. I had a 4 pm appointment for a one hour facial and full legs waxing. At 4:20 I ask how long it will take and she says 30 minutes more of a wait. She didn't even tell me until I asked. So she told me to come back in 30 min and she'll take me right away. I come back and I'm waiting again. And I asked 10 minutes later how long it will take. And says 40 more minutes! SO ridiculous. They didn't care at all. They booked six people at the same time. Appointments mean nothing to them. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

Every time I make an appointment they make me wait longer. What's the point of an appointment if I'm not going to be seen at the time I asked for. The owner says one thing when you book but then you have to wait 30 mins from your actual appointment time because they have too many walk ins. They need a better way of tracking their clients rather then saying "have a seat" and then you don't know who is next. It's better to do a walk then an appointment. read more

NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! I have gone here multiple times, but this last time they have crossed it all. I was getting an upper lip wax and the lady spilled wax on my newly bought winter coat. If you think you are not well experienced to make sure wax does not drop on the client, then you should let the client know and take measures. I noticed but the lady said "it's fine, the wax is easy to take off". After, she attempted to take off the stain with water as she claimed it could be solved, yet was not successful. She insisted the stain was gone, when I could very well see it was not and she was only doing it worse. Never did she offer to take it to the dry-cleaner or reimburse the cost of the coat. I have now attempted myself and taken it to the dry-cleaner and the stain will not be removed. This was one costly upper lip wax that was handled with the least level of professionalism. I am extremely disappointed. read more

I visit here regularly normally to get my brows waxed and lashes. They are really good and prices are great. Recently I went for a full-body wax. I was sadly disappointed with their service. I was sent to a back room and I was told to undressed. My biggest issue is that after undressing there was no towel, robe, or anything to cover me. I was just expected to sit in the room naked completely exposed. When I asked for a towel or something to cover me, I was given a dirty towel. When I pointed out that the towel was dirty, I was given a dirty blanket instead. There was no way I was going to put either on my naked body so I just waited in the room (awkward and shivering) until the person came back in. Admittedly this was my full body wax but it made me feel very uncomfortable that they did not have clean towels in the place. Also, in the room the garbage can was over-filled with so many used wax strips that I could see the hair of other clients... . I will continue to go but only for brow waxing and lashes from now on. read more
