Prices are fair. Very small place but has a lot of Asian foods and seafood that you need.

I typically come here to get the to-go sushi/groceries in the market. Please keep that in mind!…read more Food: 5/5 The to-go trays of sushi are delicious. Fresh fish and generous servings! Also tastes so much better than other grocery store sushi. I love the variety of goods they have at the market as well. As for the restaurant, I've only ever tired their fried items and they were good, but not my favorite. Service: 5/5 Quick and friendly. Ambiance: 4/5 I love the combination of the market and the restaurant. It's the best of both worlds. The tables aren't the cleanest, but it doesn't bother me because I wash my hands

I like building my own hand rolls and bowls at home, so having a place with consistently fresh fish is non-negotiable and this place does not miss. Every single time I pull up, the quality is on point. The fish is fresh, clean, and exactly what you want when you're trusting a place with your raw cravings. No weird smells, no sketchy cuts, just solid, reliable quality. The staff is always super friendly too. Never feels rushed, always happy to answer questions, and they actually seem like they care about what they're serving. Honestly, there's not much else to say, if you need fish in Fresno, this is the spot. Period. Only heads up. Getting there right now is a bit of a mission with all the construction, so plan ahead unless you enjoy trying to figure out how to get around that train track

Most of their stores are in California with the exception of a few in Oregon, Texas and Nevada. This is your one stop store for all your Asian groceries. I can easily spend hours shopping through their aisles. There are so many items I have never seen before. Their Seafood department is amazing with so many varieties of live Fish, Crabs and Lobster. I especially like their Produce department . Today, they had cases of Atulfo Mango 18 count for $10, of course I could not resist it and bought a couple cases. What's really amazing is their selection of Asian Beer, there are many brands which I am not familiar with. *** May is AAPI Hertiage Month. Support Asian owned businesses. Their prices are great and it is worth heading to the other side of town for their prices. The selection here is much larger for most items than the other markets in Fresno. In the vegetable section there is always a guy there that is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond with answering questions about unknown items to me, and giving recommendations of flavor profiles I may be unfamiliar with or I'm looking for that will match the dish I'm am describing. I always appreciate seeing his smiling face! I've never noticed before today, but there is a sign in the back near the meat counter that reads that they will fry your fish for you at no charge. That is something I will have to read reviews on and ask about! I love that they have two and go pay, I forgot my cards at home and was able to thankfully use tap and pay with comfort and ease. The cashier was very friendly and gave a package of candy. The store was clean and decorated nicely for Chinese New Year.

I opted for rice instead of fries to balance all the fried food. The rice was a great choice but I did not expect the serving to be so massive. It was three of each item along with the coleslaw. The container wouldn't even close and it was given in a massive paper bag just to accommodate the weight. Huge serving and very satisfying. My favorite was surprisingly the fish, then shrimp, then oysters. I did not even come close to finishing all the fried deliciousness. I'll definitely be back to try something else and probably bring a friend to split the food with.

And you get HUUUUGE portions of everything. Truly blown away by the portions. If you want A LOT of food, you'll get it here. Great value! ORDER: Wanted chowder & crab but they had neither. Calamari: Decent! I like the onions. Triple Play (6 pieces of fish, fries & coleslaw): HUUUGE pieces of fish that were nicely moist. Tempura Veggies: Not tempura batter. Same batter as fish. Wouldn't order again. Head-On Shrimp: Fried too long so they were hard. Wish they'd been not so hard. Overall, I'm sure many will like this place, but my problem is the batter is too thick & not at all seasoned. This is somewhere between American & Chinese, but doesn't truly lean into either. Lemon or some acidic slaw are essential to cut thru the fried. Ketchup & hot sauce would help. Tartar sauce wasn't great. Having some non-battered/fried options would be really great. Still, I might try them again. Hope they reach their target audience.

I also come here for Asian snacks, as they have the widest selection of Pocky, Peppero, Yan-Yan, Hello Panda, etc. This was the original store that we always used to come to for Asian food before it started appearing in regular grocery stores. They also have a solid selection of instant noodles, tea, boba, Asian dessert toppings, and pre-packaged drinks (they even have Thai tea, soju, and konjac jelly). The service is always good, the workers are helpful and quick to get you all checked out and packed up. I've had some not-so-great experiences here and there, but overall good. The store itself is very nostalgic for me, so I might be biased on an ambiance point-of-view, but overall I think the store is clean and easy to navigate.

They have a great selection of Asian groceries, fresh produce, snacks, and frozen items you don't always find at big chain stores. Everything feels fresh and well stocked. If you're looking for a solid neighborhood market with good products and great service, this place is absolutely worth a stop. I'll definitely keep coming back.
