UPDATED: still loving NOCDC after two years!! Simply the best!…read more My children were previously at a different pediatric dentist office and did not like going to dental visits. I decided to seek out an office closer to my home and that, hopefully, my children would enjoy visiting. This was our second visit (our first a week or so ago was for cleanings) to this office, and like the first, we were so impressed with everything. The office staff was kind and attentive. The hygienist (from our cleaning appointment) was so great with the kids and completely put my 4 year old at ease! The dentist, Dr. Kelly was equally amazing. At my son's second visit he needed a cavity filled and a tooth wiggled out. Again, our expectations were exceeded. During the visit (and our prior one as well) I was actually allowed to be in the room with my child as he had his dental work. This was a new experience for me and one I really appreciated. Dr. Kelly was simply perfect with my child and explained to both of us during the whole procedure what was going on and what to expect. My child was completely comfortable during the whole appointment. My other children are asking when they can go back to the dentist! This is a big change, they hated their previous dentist!! Thank you so much for creating such a kind & caring atmosphere for children! We are so lucky and glad we found you all!!

I've brought my daughters to Children's Dental Center for the past couple of years, and while the…read moredentists have always been kind, patient, and wonderful with my children, the front office experience has been inconsistent. One thing I've noticed over the years is that the staff turnover seems extremely high. Unfortunately, today's visit for my baby's first dental appointment left me very disappointed. I called ahead to let the office know I would be about two minutes past the grace period. I completely understand and respect the office's late policy--that was never my issue. My concern was the way I was treated by the dental assistant, Amanda. Rather than simply explaining the policy or offering to reschedule to the next available opening, she spoke to me in a very condescending tone, as though I were a child. There is a respectful way to communicate with patients, and this interaction fell far short of that standard. Customer service matters just as much as clinical care, especially in a pediatric office where parents are already juggling a lot. I hope the owners take a closer look at how front-end staff interact with families. Based on my experiences over the years, it's also been noticeable that some parents seem to be treated differently than others, which is disappointing. The dentists themselves have always been excellent, but experiences like today's make it difficult to recommend the practice without reservation. Update: 8/4/26 Taylor Marie called me after seeing this review to cancel my other appointments so they've taken no responsibility nor investigated anything l've said. Taylor and other employees then went and left fake reviews to bump mine down. BE WEARY OF BRINGING YOUR CHILDREN HERE THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN !!!

My experience with Just Kids Dental was very disappointing…read more After my child received fillings, she began having severe nerve pain about a month later. When I brought her back, I was initially told nothing was wrong and to just give Tylenol. X-rays were taken at her next appointment but I never received follow-up results. Once the pain worsened I brung her back and It was only after I requested records that they acknowledged a filling was very close to the nerve and she now needed a root canal at first they try and say it was a gum issue dispite any swelling r redness r inflammation to the gum and told me to just keep giving her Tylenol and that the pain will worsen before getting better. WOW! The referral process was also frustrating. I was referred to one provider who does not have staff in the office this week to perform work. Then I requested another referral where they referred me to a provider who doesn't even perform root canals, and when I questioned it, I was told ( these are the referrals we have) and after the last referral they had if they ddnt do it that I would have to find a provider on my own then. WOW! There was also inconsistent communication, including attempts to suggest poor hygiene as the cause even after identifying the real issue. I fill like instead of them taking fault they are trying to finds ways to place blame on me and the way they are responding doesn't makes me feel like they really care about what my child is going through and giving me the run around just to get it out of their hands. That's my thoughts. Overall, there was a lack of follow-up, poor coordination of care, and my child remained in pain throughout the process. I hope they improve how they handle patient care and communication moving forward.

This is the cattle call of dentist offices. All the dental chairs are all in the same room. My…read moredaughter kept complaining that the dental assistant was hurting her. I thought she maybe just not be used to getting her teeth cleaned but after, I looked in her mouth and literally all her gums were bleeding. And not just a little bit. Then, the assistant gives my child what she called a vitamin. Turns out it was fluoride, which we do not want. And didnt even ask my permission. Will never go back.

But because I was completely numbed I really just needed my dad to come with me and help me be brave. If that had not worked they would use sedation. Because you should not terrify children. Why all the metal instead of porcelain used here? These fillings do not last and are leading to young adults having root canals. Not because of bad oral hygiene, but because of Bippos horrible work.

Parents, please read this before you ever consider bringing your child here…read more Today my six-year-old was scheduled for sedation dental work. Like any little kid, he made a mistake, he snuck a small snack before the appointment. I did the responsible thing and called the office immediately to let them know. That's when I was told, over the phone, that because of this, my child will never be allowed another sedation appointment. Their alternative? To tie my terrified six-year-old down in "the blue chair" and force him through multiple cavity procedures without sedation. Meanwhile, he is already in significant dental pain and desperately needs care. This is the most heartless, inhumane thing I have ever heard from a medical professional. Children are not criminals. They do not deserve to be punished or traumatized for making an innocent mistake. And no parent should ever be backed into a corner like this. I left that phone call absolutely shaken, furious, and heartbroken. If this is how they treat children and families, I would never trust them with my child or yours. Please, parents: think twice before ever stepping foot in this place. Our kids deserve care, compassion, and dignity, not cruelty disguised as dentistry. If strapping down a child in pain is their idea of "care," imagine what else happens behind closed doors.
