I talked to Lisa for grooming both of my cats and she told me that her plate was stolen so she couldn't move her van and we drove to her place with our two cats to have a grooming service. One cat nicely had a lion cut. The other cat got aggresive (which we warned her before) and she couldn't do it(totally understandable). So we agreed on having him sedated with acepromazine the next week and she could come to our place and do it. We agreed on 95$ per cat and $20 discount since we drove there. I also added a tip of $10 for giving her hard times with one cat. Since I was going to give my cat a sedative, I took him to the vet, spent more money and gave him the sedative at 2pm since she told me she was going to come to my place at 3-3:30pm. T She arrived at my house at 4:50 pm as sedative was losing its impact. She told me that she went to William St in San Rafael rather than Oakland where I live. But in San Rafael there is only Williams St. So it was her fault to go there. And when I brought the cat to her I told that cat was waking up and she said "he is still slow so I can do it". She could just do a part on the back and my cat woke up from sedative. I asked for a refund from her nicely and she told me she will Venmo the amount asap. She calls me today and says "I don't know what I owe you for. That $75 you paid for was just for bathing." And I told her "I know you bathed him, you can just pay me whatever you feel like as courtesy." She declined it and that's why I am putting her story here. Fast and super friendly! Had my little man looking so fresh and so clean! From calling and getting a a next day appt at 7pm for 1pm.... I'm like ok we're off to an amazing start. This woman knows her stuff. I had a couple of nappy pomeranians that she took care of for me. When my pom came out of her van after an hour if not more, she was glowing. She just looked so happy and clean and she smelled so good. She was able to drink water out of her bowl without getting water all over herself, and best of all when she went poo it didn't stick to her butt! My friends were kinda grossed out by that. We hit the jackpot when we found Lisa. My 2 very spoiled Yorkies were used to being groomed at home, but it just got to be too time consuming for me. Lisa did a great job with our cat. Our cat had some really bad matting that was becoming quite bothersome, and was even very close to the skin. Lisa drove her van to us, and even though our condo didn't have a power outlet that facilitated doing it in the van, she was willing to come in and do the lion cut and shampoo in our bathroom. She took amazing care with our cat, as matting really close to the skin can be dangerous for the cat. At the end, our cat was totally fine and the cut looks great. This'll probably be nothing more than a small wake in the sea of 4 and 5 stars you've received but regardless, you should know my experience with you, Lisa. Others are welcome to read. When we first spoke on the phone, I expressed my concerns in having my cat Bochy trimmed because I had never taken a pet of mine to a groomer. You assured me that his bath, nail trim AND coat trim (if found to be a needed and reasonable option) would cost $75. I appreciate the attempt of communication during the day we had scheduled you to come to my condo for Bochy's spa day because I was at work that entire day. However, I gave you my boyfriend's number so you could communicate with him since he was at the same physical location as you, but you still felt it was appropriate to continuously text me while I was at work about the services you were to perform. The problem that arose apparently, was that Bochy's hair could not be trimmed, cut or otherwise altered because of the way his coat grows in. He's a fluffy cat so I understand the explanation you gave me. Because of this, I asked you to use your better judgement and perform the service (coat trim), but only if it was needed and reasonable. You DID NOT perform the coat trim but failed to let me know. My boyfriend informed me instead. I came home from work and my fluffy friend's coat was nicely combed and noticeably neat. He smelled great and his nails were trimmed down to smaller stubs. I examined his nails closer and found that you did not cut too deep, so thank you for that. Job done well, but mediocre at best and NOT worth $75. After speaking with my boyfriend about the appt, I called you and praised you for the services you completed, then we discussed the service you did not complete. You admitted yourself that you did not perform the coat trim so you would reimburse me $10 from the $75 dollar check I wrote out, which you deposited 2 days after Bochy's appt. This refund was promised on your own accord; I did not pressure you into refunding me money. I was not rude with you whatsoever when we spoke, but I was assertive. I believe this made you feel like you had to tell me anything to get me off the phone. I was more hopeful, after our verbal conversation, that you would actually keep your word because you asked me to text you my address. That way you could just mail me the 10 bux. I understand how chaotic your life may become with owning your own business, performing the services yourself on location, and carrying on your own family and personal life. And it's just 10 dollars so clearly, the money is not my concern. But if you want to stay reputable to any and all future prospects for your business and your income, you shouldn't leave any loose, ill-fitting ends like this. Especially with someone as patient as me. It has been exactly 3 months since we last spoke about this. I'm all for small business flourishing so I figured I'd give you some time to process the refund, but 3 months is absolutely pushing it. Needless to say, I will not be rescheduling with you and I will not be referring the pet owners I know. I need to find a PUNCTUAL(my bf told me you were over an hour late to our condo in Hayward; why even make appts?), reliable and trustworthy cat groomer. Seems like all these positive reviews are from dog owners, which is great; should've known better than to schedule an appt! read more

I'm excited to see how she does with my two mini-Aussies...So nice to be able to have her come to my home...I hate the long wait at all of the pet groomers I have tried, whether it be inside a crate or not. But our long hair cat needed a cut, it's summer and she doesn't really clean herself a lot, and I'm thinking it's because her hair is too long. TO THE PAMPERED POOCH: LOOK NO FURTHER I searched around Yelp and found Lisa Jannay. I was pleased when I was able to get my little Pomeranian, Gizmo, in last-minute to get groomed. I wasn't aware it was a mobile grooming service and didn't really know what that implied but was definelty intrigued by the idea. A grooming salong on wheels? Well, I loved it. Lisa was overwhelmingly accomodating, kind, and skilled. My baby Gizmo had extremely matted fur from not being brushed in a while and came out looking and smelling great. I opted for the "lion cut," which to be done correctly requires vast experience and talent, and she did a beautiful job. I was impressed by the cleanliness and set-up of the "van salon" which had a full-size bath area and a full-size adjustable grooming table with a leash gaurd and everything(for those jumpy dogs). She had all the right tools and products of any standard grooming establishment but with the added convenience of being able to come to you. Her affordable pricing apparently always includes a bath, nail trim, and the lovely anal-gland expressing. Not to mention I watched her do it all (well, not the latter... c'mon) with attention, detail, and and gentle caring touch. Overall, I was very impressed with this full-service groomer and the added bonus of not having to even leave home.
