Not a great experience. Dog had a yeast infection in both ears when we took her to her first vet visit and our vet was convinced she came from a puppy mill. We never actually saw where she was raised. She ate her poop for the first few months we had her. For the price we paid, we expected a much better start. read more

First of all, we absolutely love our Cavachon to death!!! Our experience with the breeder was wonderful in every way! We met them half way between where we live and they live. Our lil girl did have significant ear infections when we got her and I had to spend more money two days after getting her. I called the breeder and they offered to split the cost which really surprised me. I felt that they could have just said, "I am sorry" but they did the right thing and refunded some cash to me. I had another breeder that I had an immediate health issue offer nothing. We have been so happy with this lil dog! She is smart, loving, devoted and bit impishly curious. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure about using this breeder but they were local. After some Facebook communication only, my wife and I decided to go ahead with the purchase of a Cavachon puppy. We had several to choose from, such a tough choice. Ashley even delivered. Everything was simple and with the safety and health of the puppy the most important factor of the sale. I was nervous about getting our puppy here after reading some of the reviews but it was truly an excellent experience. We received a video of the puppy beforehand and could see her friendly disposition. Her shots were up to date, she had a chip, the vet told us she'd been well treated and well cared for, and so did her personality. She has turned into the most sublime dog. If you could give negative stars, I would. I purchased a $1400 puppy and although I love her dearly and am committed to raising her into the wonderful dog I know she can be, there was absolutely ZERO value behind this big dollar sign purchase. When you purchase at that price from a breeder, you expect certain things: - AKC papers - Pedigrees (including those of parents) - A HEALTHY DOG - Crate trained pup - A pup in the process of potty training - A socialized pup - A DOB (no brainer???) NONE of these things have been delivered. We were given a sick puppy that required $$$ for medications to cure parasites and ear mites and ear infections. After multiple complains to the sellers and public complaints on FB, she finally reimbursed us for medications. When we drove to pick the puppy up on a Saturday, we were told by Ashley that she left the papers at home and would take pics to send us and then mail them on Monday. I never received pictures of the papers and have yet to receive the actual papers. When I reached out to Lisa, she told me that AKC has not delivered the papers to her. Umm, so you sell an "AKC" puppy at an AKC price with out even having papers?! Not to mention, you lie about it. Absolutely disgusting. My puppy pees in her crate, seems to not even know what a potty pad is and was scared of everything. She is coming around now that we have had her a couple of weeks. I'm convinced these puppies were neglected and treat these breeders are fraudulent and money hungry that don't care a thing about these living things. They didn't ask a single question about me or my lifestyle. As if they didn't care to investigate where their puppy was going. They just wanted their money. Puppy mill - lied several times about having papers for the puppy. Never sent them. Didn't answer phone calls. Dog had several medical issues the first week and pooped out an iPhone charging chord. Very scared of everything. Vet says my puppy was 100% neglected and not taken care of. Lisa/Ashley lie and delete all of the bad reviews on their Facebook page and then block the people. There are at least 20 people who have got scammed and are trying to turn them in. read more

Let me state this now: I do not recommend this breeder. After I picked up my puppy and took her to the vet to her first checkup, I found out she had parasites infection, giardia and coccidia. She was scratching her ears a lot, so I asked the vet to take a look, she had ear infection. This painted a picture the condition that my puppy and her litter were cared under was not good at all. My puppy also ate her poop. Imagine the daunting effort to cure her of parasites infection by not letting her reinfecting herself eating her own poop. I had to watch her like a hawk. Think about it, a responsible and conscientious breeder would let the puppies develop the bad habit of eating poop? This is not a sign of a responsible breeder. When I picked her up, she smelled like she had been sprayed with perfume. Her nails were so long that they affected her walking. Being that she was only 1.4 lb and her nails were so small, I was afraid to cut them and asked my vet to do it for me, she did. Speaking to Ashley, Lisa's daughter, she told me the puppies would be bathed once or twice before they go home to the new owner. Looking at my puppy when I picked her up, I don't think they bathed her once and cut her nails. Besides feeding the puppies and keeping them alive, I don't think they did much to raise and train the puppies so they are off to a good start. It was disheartening to see the puppies well being were neglected. Getting the parents' paperwork was an ordeal too. Until now, I don't have the correct paperwork for my puppy's parents. Lisa and Ashley told different stories, so I had to think they were lies. If you are looking for a cavachon, stay away from this breeder. read more

Communication is awful. Drove to get my cavachon Lisa gave me the wrong paperwork for a different dog. Didn't notice this until I drove 4 hrs to get home. Called and left message also texted and didn't hear back but my check was cashed a few hrs later. It's been 3 months between Lisa and daughter Ashley and and their lack of communication no paperwork. Was sent a photo of someone's vaccines (no name on papers)which my vet could not read. I got 2 different birthdates. Skin infection and ear infection was put on antibiotics. Love my little girl to death and thankfully she is healthy now. Sad to hear others have suffered worse than what we went thru. Will not recommend this breeder. read more

I felt compelled to put a good review on yelp because I think, often times, people only take the time to write a review if they've had a negative experience. Since this breeder doesn't have a website, only a Facebook page, this is what people find when they search the breeder's name. I, too, I was a bit nervous when I read some of these reviews so I wanted to share our own experience. Ashley was wonderful. We couldn't come meet our puppy due to Covid, but we did several facetimes so we could see him. She met us halfway for the hand-off and brought all the necessary papers and emailed all the parent information. This is a family breeder and her mom and grandmother also breed dogs in their homes. It is not a puppy mill. I would say that, on the business side, things are more disorganized. There is not a perfect "checklist" or professionally printed communications, for example. However, I'm totally fine with that. They are breeders first. The business aspect is casual, but not reflective of the puppy you are going to get. Our puppy is healthy, happy, well-socialized and simply adorable. Ashley has two very young children of her own that live in the house so the puppies are coming from a loving, clean environment. I give five stars for the quality of the puppy you will receive, which is the most important thing in my opinion. Since we brought our puppy home, Ashley has checked in several times and is quick to answer questions and kind in offering future support. Don't let the negative reviews sway you too much. Set your expectations on the quality of the puppy you'll get. The issues that were mentioned are very typical of puppies. The infections, etc. are things that are very common amongst puppy litters because they are so vulnerable to everything before full vaccinations, but our puppy had none. As far as house training, that's up to you when you get such a young puppy to start. There is my two cents. I do not recommend this breeder at all. Stay away. Got my puppy with life-threatening pneumonia. Shortly after paying $1,400 for a supposedly purebred King Charles Cavalier, I had to shell out another $1,300 in vet bills for overnight hospitalization to save her life. When I spoke to Ashley to see if she would meet me halfway on these costs, since I had only just gotten the puppy, and according to the vet, this condition had been building for some time - likely before I purchased the puppy, the vet thought - Ashley said, "I'm sure we can work something out," and then never returned my phone calls or emails again. Our puppy has had follow-on health issues, including bronchitis, as a result. A legit breeder would have met me halfway - or at least returned my phone calls/emails and had an interest in knowing the puppy's state of health. A legit breeder would send the registration papers! It's now ten months later and I have yet to receive a dime from her (or any papers), despite numerous attempts to reach her. Here I thought I was 'saving' money by going with Ashley for a purebred Cavalier, as they generally cost a bit more, and I ended up paying far more in medical bills. To anyone considering this breeder: find someone else; I don't believe the operation she is running is legit. read more
