Going to this nail salon has been something like a family tradition my late mom introduced us to Lisa's and my aunt and I have gone a few times since her passing because it's been helping with the grief process... until last visit when the male staff whose name I have no idea was so rough and rude. When my aunt shared how rough he was being he doubled down and didn't listen to her concerns. Here's the worst part . For painting of her natural nails no acrylic no gel the cost was $80 which is almost triple what I've paid for just color on past visits this time he said because her natural nails were long the cost was justified. I don't agree and the nail broke shortly after the service. Really dissatisfied because this salon has been a family tradition for years. Called to rectify and got no follow up... treat your loyal customers better . We deserve it. read more

Lisa and her team are amazing. I've been a loyal client for some years now. This review is long overdue. Lisa's nails is always my 1st choice for nails and pedicures. The shop is beautiful and the service is excellent. Prices are also reasonable. I typically get the Hawaiian pedicure and it's a little slice of heaven. On a not so busy day, this service is about 45 min to an hour. Trust me it is the best. You can thank me later. Was in town setting up for a party my bff and I were hosting at her house for my son's 21st birthday. The theme was Coachella. I needed a new set and a pedicure and she needed a new set. So she made an appointment for us with William. She was scheduled for 3:30 and I for 4:30. While she got her nails done I had my pedicure done. I'm terrible and forgot the name of the lady whom took care of my pedicure. However, she definitely took care of me. Although she was fast it didn't feel like it. Didn't feel like she took any shortcuts. It totally felt like she took great care of me. She was a 10/10. Now for my nails. When I go into a nail appointment, regardless of where and who I always go in with the color scheme/design, shape and length I want. I knew I wanted long and stilleto shaped. I also wanted a chrome silver French tip. I just felt I needed that shiny yet sleek look for the party. He needed to first take my old nails off and he did so without pain and rather quickly. He kept convo at a minimum but was funny when he did engage. Not that I need full on convo because I believe in giving an artist their space to do what they do. While he was busy shaping all of a sudden his eyes lit up and he said I have a perfect idea for you. It's going to be beautiful. When you see someone that excited you can't deny it. So I let him loose. We ended up doing a silver pearlescent cat eye and he mixed and matched the design of the cat eye. Overall, it is pretty and I'm glad I went along with his idea. 10/10 read more

Honestly don't even leave reviews like that but have been looking for a good nail salon, don't normally get my nails done but lately I have and the last two salons I've gone too weren't the greatest experience, today I came to lisas to see if they could help me out and fix the mess the last ones have caused and I had Robert do my nails, originally I wanted French tip like natural looking but he started doing ombre as we had also talked about ombre and I said no I think I want French tip after he had already done one hand of ombre, he said ok if that's what you want ill change it but let me show you how it will look before I do all of them over so he redid one nail to French tip & honestly I liked the ombre so much better so then be went back and changed it to ombre, he explained because of the nail line from the previous salon who did a green ombre, doing the french tip wont hide some of the nail lines, especially since I had two of my actual nails ripped off completely from the last salons work, but he was more than willing to redo it for me if that's what I wanted, he was really gentle, not like the last shops who completely destroyed my nails by over filing the tip into my nails & completely destroying my natural nail & my skin being ripped off by the glue after, this is my first time here and hopefully next time will be just as good but I will definitely coming back & update my review if anything changes. I came here right before thanksgiving and got a gel mani and regular pedicure. Prices are great, but unfortunately my gel mani didn't come out smooth. Literally. There were bumps in my nails, not all, but enough for it to be noticeable. If you've ever gotten a gel manicure, you know if it's not done well there might be indentations in your nail that makes it look uneven. Not smooth. I receive service at Lisa's nails in Antioch address 1612 A Street the technician who did my nails did amazing Job technician who did my feet did a very poor job her name was Julie the owner of the establishment was very rude and very disrespectful. I informed the technician who did my feet that I didn't want gel polish she put the gel polish on anyway, and when I got ready to pay, I was told that I had gel polish on when I came in and that's what they assumed that I wanted, but me being the customer says what they want and that's what the customer should receive regardless of have gel polish on their toenails. At the establishment I was treated very poorly. I was charged five dollars extra for the gel polish they removed from my toenails . I was also told by the owner of the establishment that I can get back in the chair and they will remove the gel from my feet very unprofessional. I will not recommend anyone to go to the establishment. They cut my toenails on the side where they were bleeding. I'm still having problems with my toenails . I can only wear open toe shoes .I have to soaking my feet everyday . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I will not be revisiting this place at all. Very bad place to go and spend your hard earned money and be treated the way that Way. I don't know how this business will make it with her running things . Love this Lil spot. Home away from home. Now I will have to go back to my old shop in between visits to Lisa's for a pedicure. I need my sides cut and they're reluctant to do so and I know and understand why. The ship is so cute and dainty. Nice and clean and they even have a hair stylist in there. Very last time coming here. I love Lisa and her work but not the people who rotates being here -- pedicure only. So it took two nail techs to give me a half way decent pedicure. I was so posses about the incorrect way it was done that I opted not to get my nails done by Lisa. So t think she mindedas while I was getting my pedicure she done a mani and a full set then proceeded to put someone else on the chair as I finished up my pedi. She came to me and I told her nevermind due to the bad service I just received. She said ok and walked away. So when I asked how much my pedicure would be the tech said $30. I'm like why, I didn't get gel. She said oh since you didn't get gel we have to charge you to take it off. At this point I'm beyond annoyed and livid. So you charge me an extra $10 to get gel then &5 to take it off. No sir. I told her I'm not paying double for a service. So what if I didn't get gel again. Then Lisa says just pay $25. Lisa don't let these people drive your business in the ground with poor service. Now I have to go to another shop to get a pedicure done correctly. My feet look ate up as we speak. In growns still hurting bc the techs would t do as I asked. Just sad. Now I'm back to driving to Castro valley. These shops in Antioch need to step their game up. This is an update to my 4-star review. I call today 8/1 to get a fill. Will stated that he had slot open. I told him anyone could do the fill. I told him my name and he said he couldn't do my nails. I asked why he said I was too picky. I've never complained about them to them. It's because I left a review that was a 4 star. Listen, I'm old school, and I have paid a tone of money over 30 plus years. It's how the nail salon owners and workers treat the customers continues to baffle me. However, every since Lisa had the place "remodeled" the service is bad, Henry's cut me twice with that sander (the manual kind) and the price had doubled. My paint doesn't even last two weeks idk if it's the old polish or if he's not doing a gold job. After waiting twogrs today and being offered a pedicure for the wait and having to pay for it at the end I'm never ever coming back! And when I said hold on Lisa starts yelling, GET HER, GET HER HENRY SHE DOESN'T PAY!!! Really after 10yrs that's what you think of me and I waited 2hrs. Horrible nail shop; made an appointment with LISA for full set and pedicure. I showed her a blinged full she stated 150. Only one nail of that set was fully blinged and a few meaning 4 or 5 on other fingers around cuticle for 150! So I picked something VERY BASIC which was white nails (gel) with very minimum rhinestones 85. Pedicure just horrible I was charged 43 dollars when my heel was still rough! I bought it to there attention and Diana told me because I chose the 30.00 pedicure that's why my feet was still rough and 13 for gel. So one week later my GEL polish on my toes is coming off already!!! I've never had gel polish peel off in one week. Actually gel isn't supposed to peel off! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They just want your money. I asked for a long squared shape nails and got something totally different not what I asked SEE PICTURES! I'm a person who is specific about my nails and they disappointed me to the fullest. Diana did my nails even tho I made my appointment with Lisa who told me to come back later to get my nails done right after my pedicure was done. I had an appointment for BOTH at 945am. My nail tech is Henry been going to Henry for over ten years. He is excellent at nails and designs. Lisa is good as well and she does bomb eyebrows. I strongly suggest to make an appointments if you want to see Henry or Lisa. Walk-ins are welcomed! Staff is welcoming and polite! They are all following Covid safety measures including customers. They wear mask and gloves, they have dividers between each booth including the pedicure stations. They provide hand sanitizer and they clean their stations after each customer.
