I had an Mani/Pedi appointment with Relaxing Nail Spa on April 4, 2026. The mani/pedi was done by two different women. My manicure looks professional, however, it's not the design or color I requested. To begin, I showed the technician a picture from their company's website of the nail design I wanted and she said ok. I showed her the picture at least four times but she just couldn't deliver the design they advertised on their website. Even though my manicure looks professional, it wasn't what I requested so I was disappointed. In regard to the pedicure, again the finished job looks professional. However, my experience was not. To begin, the technician asked me to place my feet in the tub to soak. She turned on the water which began running a little hot so I pulled my feet out of the water so that she could adjust the water temperature. Once my feet soaked for a little while she began scrubbing my feet with an exfoliating sponge. This technician was so heavy handed scrubbing my feet, I had to ask her to please leave some skin on my feet, and she immediately lightened her scrubbing action. In addition, this technician nipped my skin twice while trimming my cuticles. I had to check my feet to make sure she didn't drawn blood. At this point, I had given three warnings, one about the hot water temperature, the again for her heavy handed scrubbing, and thirdly for the painful nipping of my cuticles. I take good care of my feet daily and I had a professional mani/pedi two weeks prior by a different salon. So, the excessive scrubbing of my feet was not necessary, and the painful nipping of my toe cuticles was just so unprofessional. Therefore, because of the poor treatment I received during the pedicure, and the wrong color and design for the manicure, I will not return to this nail salon. read more

Ladies they don't disappoint. If you have an idea show them a pictures and they can execute. Maybe not the crazy ridiculous stuff if you are looking for an amazing nail shop with awesome service this is your place to be but make sure you make an appointment. Don't walk in and be upset you had to wait, their traffic is very random. Some days they're super busy some days they can get to you as a walk in quick. I received a pedicure from Ann(e?) and a full set from Jenny (or Jenni?) and both ladies were very sweet and attentive to my 'tips and toes. The pedicure upgrade package was a lil too costly for me this go-round ($50), but overall I ended up spending less than I spent at the nail shop that has been dogging me out recently. So that's another win. Since they just opened 3 months ago, everything is new, clean, pristine, and pretty. So far my nails still look adorable and I'm hoping to get the same great experience when I return next time. Seriously one of the best nail spots I've been to. I'm new to the area and I usually go to a private nail tech but their prices are just getting ridiculous. I got a deluxe pedicure and short acrylic frenchies and paid $110 + tip. The girl who did my acrylic did exactly what I told her I wanted and she was pretty quick. The guy who did my pedicure really took his time and did an amazing job, he even came back while I was getting my acrylics done to make sure my pedicure looked good, he noticed a small paint chip and took it upon himself to sit there and fix it, by far was one of the best pedicures I've ever gotten. Great new nail salon on Hillcrest. I called on Memorial Day looking for an early walk-in appointment and was greeted by a friendly person on the phone. When I walked in for a manicure and pedicure, the first thing that caught my eye was how bright and clean everything was. The nail implements were clean (fresh out of the pack for my appt.) and the supplies well organized. It was nice to select the scent for the pedicure. Milk and Honey smells so good!! Will have to try another one on my next appt. I had a dip manicure and gel pedicure done by Amy and Jenny. Each of them took care to be precise and neat with the services. The customer service was awful. Worst experience I've honestly ever had. My mom and I went into this establishment expecting to be pampered and taken care of. We called and made an appointment for 12pm. We were a bit late to our appointment, nonetheless they were still not prepared to service us. There were 3 women and a man. The man started my pedicure but had my mom waiting around 20 minutes just for her pedicure to even start. We were late to our appointment and we still have to wait for our pedicure to start??? That's strike 1. We decided we would choose the aloe and cucumber pedicure. They offered us a drink of wine or a mimosa and we agreed to mimosas. There was woman servicing another client. Her and her sister (is what she said) were judgmental towards my mom and dared to assume my mom was pregnant before giving us the mimosas. They laughed about it shortly after. My mom was very uncomfortable with the assumption and was very disgruntled. My mom waited for her service provider to begin her service but my mom was very upset she let her know that she was very uncomfortable and unhappy with the assumption made but she was willing to allow her to redeem herself with the service. When my mom tried to explain herself and her discomfort one of the service providers rolled her eyes. After that discourse, we didn't want to continue our service. Fine by us. We were uncomfortable and left. I'm not sure who owns this establishment but i will be back to speak to the owner. Your employees lack knowledge of customer service. Your employees are VERY ill-mannered and impolite. I would never recommend anyone to this place. read more

Hate to write low reviews but this review is based on two visits. First visit we came in as a walk in, waited for about 10-15 min which was fine considering we didn't have an appointment. Came in for a pedicure. The lady who helped me did a really great job cleaning out my cuticles and my nails but did not even get my heels. I was confused and when i brought it up they pointed out the up charge for removing calluses but I just needed my heels to be scrubbed as part of a standard pedicure, am i right? Lol. Didn't even get a scrub on my feet which I thought was odd. Anyway, she did a good job on everything else and spent a lot of time cleaning out my toes and i had something at home to take care of my heels so i didn't bug as much this place is right down the street from us so wanted to give it another shot. After reading a bunch of recent reviews about people waiting a while for their appointments, i was a little hesitant to return but called to make an appointment anyways. They close at 7 and was able to get an appt for 6p. We arrived at our appointment time, saw they only had two techs on pedicures and two on manicures, with one customer waiting for her pedicure. We were told to pick a seat.. like we were at a restaurant or something lol. We sat for About 20 min and i noticed the other customer who was there before us and who was also told to sit in her seat didn't even have her feet soaking. They finally get to her and we decided to leave. They said they were going to get started on us soon but idk how as it was myself and my fiance and between both of us, we would've been there a while longer or felt they would've rushed through pedis since it was already approaching 625p. My advice especially based on other reviews, don't accept appointments if you don't have the staffing. Get a handle on how you manage your appointments. It leaves a bad taste and does not show that this business respects a customer's time. If someone makes an appointment, it's for a reason. It's a bummer since this spot would've been so convenient, but totally inconvenient because they really don't respect your appointment time made. read more

This is a new nail shop. I went when they were only open for two weeks and there was a young girl working there who gave me a not so neat pedicure. BUT... This place is so close to my house, I thought I would try again. Especially based on the other good reviews. I called ahead of time and told them my concern. I didn't want the young girl again. They assured me I would be in good hands. As a side note, some of these techs used to work for Vida nails. Vida is a very expensive shop that turns out very nice work (see my other review to find out why I won't go back to Vida nails), So I figured I must have just had an unlucky day. This time I got Vanessa. She didn't do much chatting like the younger girl, which was nice because I brought my earbuds to listen to music. This was a totally different experience than the first one. I don't know if I even noticed the hypnotic waterfall channel on the big screen, but I just couldn't look away. It had me in a trance. It was so beautiful. Meanwhile, VANESSA knocked it out the park. I put her to the test by requesting white-white gel polish. She understood the assignment. There was not one misplaced drop of polish to be found. It was perfection. Flawless. I tipped her $20 because it's never looked so good. White is hard to get perfectly done because against my brown skin, every oops is noticeable. Great job Vanessa! Another woman did my nails. She also understood the assignment. I asked for only 2 dips of powder. When I ask for 2, I always get someone who tries to talk me into more dips for some reason. But I like my nails thin, without that bulky look. The shape and thickness were perfect. I hate when I know what I want, but the tech tries to talk me into something else, only for me to walk out wishing I got what I asked for. This was not the case on this day. I didn't get this lady's name unfortunately, however, a man finished my nails, giving me French tips. He artfully did the half moon part in one swoop. I love it! I paid $45 or $50 for the deluxe pedicure including gel polish and an extended massage. The dip manicure was about the same but it included the gel polish on top of the powder. Don't quote me on the price because I honestly don't remember the total or the break down. I am so glad I gave this shop another try. This will now be my go-to. Vanessa also reiterated that if there is ever a problem just let them know and they will be happy to correct it. This shop gets my five stars! read more

Second time coming here commuting from Oakland! Both times have been really good, nail work is consistent so far. Everyone has been very friendly and accommodating and I really enjoy the interior of the salon, the calming music and vibe.
