New to the area and came here just for gel removal, which cost me $20, which I couldn't believe, with other salons averaging $10-15. Nothing extra was done, no nail trimming or shaping. Instead I was disappointed in how much my cuticles were cut up from the drill, which I did let the older gentleman know was a bit excessive. Don't think I'd come here for any other service just because it also lacks what it's named, and that is-luxury. The place is definitely in desperate need of a remodel and the furniture should definitely be replaced. Overall, very dingy atmosphere. read more

I wish I would've look closer while Linda was painting my nails. I didn't like these at all :( she's super nice and sweet, but I didn't like her work today. I've had her do my nails before and she did great previous times. Not sure what changed. If I come back, I'll come see Ellen. Ellen did my nails perfect last time. Also, I'm prego and one of the guys there smelled like cigarettes. So I had to put a mask on because I couldn't handle the smell. I'm not sure I'll be back while pregnant. My toe nails feel like they have bubbles and I can't reach them to paint them because I'm 7 months prego. So this will have to do :/ my hands I can fix thankfully! Go to Lucy for Pedi!!!! Lucy takes her time, is very thorough, friendly, patient, and soo good at pedicures! Gets all the dead skin, cute the nail perfectly square, and invites feedback from you. The nail skin has a nice vibe it's usually pretty relaxed and quiet. I call ahead for Lucy and have always been in and out in good timing. Just FYI: They use bags in the water but they don't use new tools straight out the pack for each client...for anyone who is a stickler about that. Fortunately, I've been going here for years and can safely say that has not affected me in any way. read more

I went into this nail salon on Sunday Dec 7th. I have an overlay on my nails and I needed a fill. I sat in a chair and the nail tech began doing my nails, I asked her if she could cut my nails down a little shorter. The nail tech proceeded to do the fill she put so much acrylic on my nails they were thick, shaped in the wrong direction and just a total mess. at one point I informed the tech that she filed the sides of may nails into a shape I cant even describe she then added more acrylic and did not file down the application. my nails look a total mess. She then charged me 40.00 for the worst fill I've ever received. Please don't go here save yourself they are horrible. You would think in an "upscale" area the work would be flawless but nope its horrible but that what I get for not driving to my own tech. I enjoyed my pedicure but the nail service in itself felt very rushed and overall just very messy. I asked for a manicure and I felt anxious the whole time sitting there because he was going so fast and just felt rushed. Clearly you can see the paint job is far from good. The edges aren't painted on majority of them and I even tried showing a picture of how I liked my French tip and he said okay and did the opposite. It just wasn't an enjoyable experience. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've been getting acrylics for over 10 years now and this was by far the WORST job I have ever had. I went in on January 3rd for a fill. I have been here a few times before and always had a good experience l, so I figured I was safe. Boy was I ever wrong... I asked for what I thought was a simple design. I wanted a nude color polish with pink glitter French tips. The lady said she could do it. My fill was going great, until it wasn't. She legit filed off almost all the acrylic and left my nails suuuppperrr thin. My fingers were burning from the aggressive drilling and filing. As soon as she started with the nail polish, I knew it wasn't going to be good.... The gel polish had to be at least 1000 years old. It was thick and gooey and absolutely disgusting. She just slopped it on my nails and covered the sides of my fingers in it. I figured she would use remover after to clean up, so I didn't say anything. After putting on the nude color she filed my nails even more and then kept putting the cuticle oil all over them. When I asked about the glitter tips she had completely forgotten all about it. She took the tool that they use to dip into the polish and do designs with. Like hearts and flowers and all that. She dipped it into the polish that was also old AF and thick and disgusting and basically flung it onto my nails, on top of the cuticle oil. She didn't bother to clean them up and put the top coat on. And then once again continued to file my nails. I was there almost 2 hours and at this point I just wanted to get the heck out. As soon as it was done she leapt up from her chair and ran to the back. Clearly knowing she did an absolute horrific job and probably assumed I was going to complain. Honestly I really should have, but I was embarrassed of how awful they looked and just wanted to get out. I paid $50 for these, including a tip.... I wish I didn't, but I'm a nice person. I will NEVER go back and I cannot believe anyone in their right mind would ever think that this was an acceptable job. I am not going to blast this girls name on here, but if the owner cares enough to know, please reach out to me. This is disgusting. I immediately went down the road to another salon and had them take this crap off and repaint my nails. read more

Best pedicure I've received, ever, and I've had several. Lily was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Both the experience and my nails were really bad. Jason, whom did my nails, didn't ask what length I wanted. He simply went in and cut the tips as he desired. Next, he cut me about 3 times. Next, after filing down and buffing the acrylic, he didn't ask me to wash my hands to get all the dust off. He sprayed my finger nails with alcohol and called it a day. The alcohol burned my cuts SO BADLY. My nails aren't smooth, they're super bumpy and you can feel there was still dust left behind on them. On top of it all, the nails look ugly. I wanted a simple black tip and I got what looks like eggs on my fingers. All of this for a whopping $60. Needless to say, never going back! read more

On Sunday, 06/25/23 my cousin and I purposely choose the area of Antioch, CA to meet up for Brunch since we live about 90 mins away from each other. Unfortunately the staff of said establishment preferred not to solicit our business. #1. My cousin wasn't greeted as she entered the Salon which she just wrote off as them being busy, she walked out and came to get myself ( not mentioning the lack of a greeting) #2. When we both walked in together the salon techs did not even raise the heads to greet us. About 30 seconds past and two other women walked in and immediately were greeted. #3. At the same time we both understood what was at hand and proceeded to walk out. My cousin contributed this to establishments being able to serve whoever they wanted, yet she was definitely offended. To spend over 100.00 for two full new sets NEVER AGAIN! Lastly, myself being caucasian but I do understand Vietnamese and your child is mixed with Vietnamese should not speak your language among each other talking about your customers. But what took the cake was as I was preparing to get up after the service and the technician lifted the arm of the recliner, a roach crawled up the inner side of the chair arm. So first off this place is so dirty, the table that the tech did my nails on was filthy had crusted acrylic from who knows how long. The files he was trying to use on me looked old, worn out, and filthy. I asked for long coffin shape and with glitter. I like my nails very nicely shaped and filed even if the tech has to be rough. This guy was damn near painful and did an atrocity of a job they are all so lumpy and oddly shaped. Under my nails if full of acrylic. Also I hate when I'm shared between techs one did the gross acrylic job and then the girl did the awful lumpy gel, she seemed bothered when I asked for a third layer of glitter. Well, I hate to be the trumpiter of bad business practice but in the spirt of keeping your well earned dollars invested in good business, DO NOT GO HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Better to go to Dazzling Nails or Le Nails. Here's the top five reasons to look the other way when considering this Pinky Nail Salon: 1) I walked in with my wife and asked for 2 pedicures and a manicure for her. We were told it would be 20 minutes of wait time. In between waiting, we saw 3 other customers walk in and get serviced when they had no appointment. Bummer.....and not a great way to start off a business relationship. It's just bad communication by setting the wrong expectation with the customer. 2) When seated, my wife asked to be put ahead of me for service several times....and was completely dismissed by the male. Afterwards, the staff members were belligerently chatting about the snub and chuckling about it making us both feel uncomfortable. 3) During my wife's service, she was impinged by one of the pedicure tools while focusing on the cuticles. The pain was pretty severe....much more than expected during a service like this. Again, the male performing the pedicure dismissed her pain and did not offer an apology nor did he try to recover. Granted, sometimes during a service such as this, a little impingement might occur...we've all felt it before....but at least it's always followed by an apology. Unfortunately not by this guy....nor was it offered through other documented yelp reviews on this establishment. It's obvious this business doesn't consider the physical welfare of its customers. 4) My wife's pedicure process was done with little regard the accepted process--especially with removal of excess cuticles (which didn't even happen). Additionally, her nail beds were excessively filed down with a drill (not good for the overall health of the nail). 5) The bathroom was unfortunately extremely dirty and un-hygienic; another indicator of a business that ignores basic health standards and the overall impression itself unto the consumer. So my yelpers, there you have it: lack of basic communication, dismissal of customer requests, ignorance of basic hygiene, safety and nail service in itself. I state the facts that are aligned with other yelp reviews of this establishment. Read them carefully and make up your own mind. Or you can save your dollars and stay away from this place and go elsewhere. read more

I called to see if they had time for a pedicure, as my normal go to place was packed, and they did so I was able to come in fairly quickly, only pro. Once I walked in they only had 4 people working and only 1 other customer in the place, this should have been my first hint. The massage chair was in bad shape and barely worked. The girl that did my nails acted as if she did not understand English and this was her first day on the and pretty much ignored most of my questions. Although the foot massage was nice and long, the polish was a total disaster. They do not have too many colors to offer and the ones that have are old and nasty looking. I Decided to try a new shade this time and my toes look worst than if I did them myself. I cannot remember the last time I had a worse pedicure where my toes look like a mess. Worst pedicure I've ever had......in the history of ever. Two stars are for my besties that got to experience horrendous pedis with me.

Walk in appt this morning, I asked for a full set and a pedicure for me and my mom. The guy who did my nails started off great, shaped them well, but as more customers started coming in he started rushing and asked me to get out of the chair to dry my nails at a different station, as I was gathering my things he kept saying "hurry move move I need this chair". With wet nails you can only move so fast, and he was extremely rude. My nails ended up looking awful, and as I complained, he proceeded to just keep rubbing water on them to "smooth them out" saying "what a beautiful full set, look how beautiful, they're so beautiful" and was extremely condescending. I left super unhappy, but they didn't care. Do not go here if you expect good customer service and pretty nails. read more

Me and my daughter go here all the time for pedicures and they are amazing! Recently I decided, after doing my own fingernails for more than 2 years, to get a full set. The gentleman that did my nails was nice however he didn't listen to what I wanted and even after showing him, he said he couldn't do that style or design. I asked if anyone else can do it and he said no, they are too busy. I proceeded to let him finish and unfortunately my nails are crooked and lumpy . I highly recommend having the owner or someone who has worked there longer, do your nails. Jason is awesome!!! I have never relaxed enough while getting my nails done to actually enjoy it. Other places hurt me with the rough filing. The fills always seem thick and never to the cuticle. I am so happy with my nails today. They look beautiful, are not thick, and even files underneath my nail. I came in get my nails soaked off which is a $10 service upon arrival I wasn't acknowledged for 10 minutes while the nail techs were on their phones in the back. When I sat in the chair he proceeded to pop off my nails using an EXTREMELY PAINFUL process by getting nail tip and sliding it under to pop off the nail and his reasoning for this is it was "faster". During the process chunks of acrylic were flying and even hit someone else which shows a clear disregard for people. After this painful process he proceeds to go laugh with his coworkers in the back and comes out to tell me my total was $10 which I refused to pay because $10 is the price for a soak off not a pop my nails off! I was in today and a new trainee intern helped me. Very pleasant but... her inability to communicate and the relay between her and one of the men... well my nails were a disappointment. They tried to make it right. One of the men sge had asked to translate took over... but I think she didnt prep my nails prpoerly. This is the first time out of about 8 or 10 visits over the years that I have had issues. So... Things happen... bad days etc... but now only 8 hrs later and 2 of my gel nails have come off and a 3rd is torn. I have a busy week and now I have half a manicure. Im so disappointed. I am known for ALWAYS giving people/things the benefit of doubt, but three strikes and you're OUT! All my other experiences here have been satisfying, but today I was VERY disappointed. I walk in for a pedicure and ask to use the restroom, where I was greeted by a small COCKROACH while washing my hands. There are gnats flying around and got me scared to relax because something might crawl or land on me... I go to pick a color and the polishes are all out of order and don't match. I found 2 bottles with with mix-matched tops/stickers, etc. They call for an older gentleman to take me and he already has my water ready in the 5th chair from the front door. After about 5 minutes of my feet being in the water, I ask if he could turn on the spa (bubbles). They tell me it doesn't work - neither does the hose. WHY WOULD YOU PUT SOMEONE IN THE CHAIR THAT DOESN'T WORK?!? He is continuing to work on my pedicure, has NOT even asked what type I want. Even the way he trimmed my nails in the beginning had the other lady who works here looking at him strange! He is clearly not as experienced and is making me wonder if he even has a license!
