Service was great, however I ordered a loaded steak sandwich with mayo and fries and unfortunately the sandwich lacked meat and the fries I thought maybe were sweet potato fries that were a little over cooked,,, however they were just normal potato fries that were extremely overcooked! Huge portions but overall not worth $18. My son also got a kids Mac and cheese and didn't even touch it. My sister enjoyed her shepards pie and chili though. I don't know about the food. After waiting over half an hour They still had not started our order! We were seated at 1050 and told lunch would start at 11 am but they had a party of 20 or more people just putting in their breakfast orders.The menu clearly stated breakfast stops at 11 The place was clean and the plates of food next to us looked great, so I'm sure food must be good. Company policy should have been followed with that large group and given only lunch menus. They were too late for breakfast! The waitress was nice and this was beyond her control. We will never go back. Bad management is the issue. read more

Would recommend any day of the week. Well established regulars and locals that do not make those not yet initiated into Lisa's feel any less welcome. The staff, for the most part, have a breezy, no pretense, all welcoming attitude. Drinks are mixed to satisfy and food is on par with good. read more

I went there for thanksgiving and they robbed us,went there with my daughter and child's mother,a plate was thirty dollars and they didn't have no more stuffing,still had to pay full price,my daughter just had turkey and a roll charged us 14.99 for my daughter's food.so since they didn't want to help us and basically robbed us with a smile the server piper didn't get no tip!!!!!!was I wrong or right....?????? read more

The website presented a very different picture of Lisa's Restaurant as we were in the area and browsing to see who had a good selection. I expected it to be a bit more higher end. It's nice enough but had a weird vibe with rock walls painted purple, old booths and tables and some sort of contest going on where it looked like children had painted the restaurant windows in various designs. The menu was just okay. It didn't seem to have as much as listed on the website. We noticed later there was a specials board but our waitress never mentioned it. She was less than friendly and I got the feeling this is a place where locals go and get great treatment and everyone else is kind of just there. The food was pretty mediocre. My partner got the rib eye and it was so chewy, I had a tough time with the bite he shared. He got double broccoli and liked it but I found it not cooked enough so he ended up getting triple portion when I didn't like mine. I ordered the stuffed haddock. It was okay, nothing special. The stuffing was the star of the dish with chunks of lobster while the haddock was a bit dull. The baked potato was fine and they gave us plenty of butter and sour cream. I just think both dishes were fairly bland for the price. I don't think I'd stop in again with so many other restaurants in the area. read more

This is a great to place to go for food and drinks. We have been several times this year and had a great experiences. The potato skins are the best you may find anywhere in all of USA. The thinly sliced potato skins are covered with cheese bacon and scallions. Always served hot. Very delicious guarantee you will like them. First time trying this place for breakfast. It was wonderful! My server was extremely attentive, fast and friendly. The food (broccoli, ham, and hash brown scramble), was delicious. My main problem with it was it was so hot when it came to me, that I had to sit and watch it for five minutes at least, so I wouldn't risk scorching my mouth. Not worth the cost and be careful if you have allergies. The person I was with made it clear they had an allergy. The waitress said she told the kitchen. When were boxing up the meal to take home a few pieces of tomato were found in the bowl. Upon further investigation it was discovered/admitted by the kitchen that they removed the tomatoes and sent the salad out. Really! Not how allergies should be treated. The waitress had them remake the salad. Surprisingly the new salad came out with ingredients we didn't realize had been missing in the first salad. The waitress was pretty good, C+. We ordered 2eggs, that comes with home fries, pancakes and bacon. I paid extra to have my pancakes with chocolate chips and there were no chocolate chips, the bacon was not fresh and ordered eggs well done and it was not well done. Biscuits and gravy came separate and did not taste home made. Very disappointing!!! The only thing that was good there were the sausage links. Food was not worth the price. read more

We eat breakfast here at least three times a month. Their food is great. I prefer the eggs florentine. I always request my home fries crisp and that is what I get! Service is always great and accommodating. As well as it is always nice and clean. The decor could use an update but it does not affect the top quality of service and food. read more

We were recommended to dine here. When we arrived the server made us feel very welcome- the decor in the dining room is shabby chic, and welcoming with a Christmas tree set out for display. (It was Christmas time). My husband ordered biscuits with sausage gravy. He reports it is very good. I had "Donnie's Favorite". The eggs, sausage, pancakes, and coffee were good. The hash browns are deep fried. And my husband reports they are good. The server gave us a short little tour and showed us the lounge part of the restaurant- they have live music Friday night. I recommend this place if you are looking for a breakfast moderately priced. read more

Have you had their breakfast? If you haven't, you definitely should! Everything from their sausage gravy to their house baked beans was simply delicious. We really enjoyed our meal, and it was super affordable! Great service, plenty of parking, and you can tell they're involved in supporting the community through various causes. Was eager to try based on reviews, stopped in today for lunch, sign in the dining room said "please seat yourself". A handful of other diners were enjoying lunch. Their food smelled delicious, unfortunately I'll never know. Me and my guest waited 15 minutes at a boorh without so much as seeing a server or being acknowledged. Sat down in a small dining room which was decorated nicely. You could hear the people behind the door playing pool yelling and swearing, it made for an interesting dinner. Plenty of options for food, they had a gluten free menu, prices were in the medium range, food was okay not bad and we had a pretty good time. We had Emily for a server and she was phenomenal, best waitress I had in awhile and she was on point for everything. We had about 10-12 people and everyone agreed how amazing she was. I think the build a burger menu could be improved upon and I would do something about the sound coming from the bar. Keep Emily she will give this business a good name. read more

I've driven by Lisa's so many times that I can't even count. It sure isn't much to look at on the outside but the food is another story. The interior of the restaurant is cozy if not necessarily up to date. The menu was vast with many tasty sounding options. The taco salad with shredded beef was delicious. Better than THE Mexican restaurant in the area. Homemade macaroni and cheese and a grilled chicken club rounded out the order. Everyone was full and all three of us had lunch for the following day. The bill was $60 with a small appetizer and 2 sodas. A bit steep I thought... The one thing that was off putting for a family with kids is that the bathrooms are in the lounge/pool table area with loud, foul speaking patrons. At times they could even be heard through the wall. It wasn't enough to keep us away but it may be for some. The food was good, homemade and plentiful albeit a bit expensive for the area. In the future Lisa's will be a consideration when we want a delicious and unique meal. read more

Great place for breakfast lunch or dinner. The pancakes are big as dinner plates and soft fluffy and delicious. The home fries with onions are the perfect addition to the chocolate chip pancakes. They even serve alcohol in the morning which is awesome after a long night shift. The honey chicken sandwhich is one of my favorite dishes there. It is a little messy by so good. The staff are the best. They are so friendly and patient even during those times we can't stop chatting and decide what to order. Unfortunately, we were sitting near a large potted plant. Looking more closely, we noticed glue paper on a post with tons of gnats - clearly a problem the restaurant knew about. In fact, the proprietor came to our table and said he noticed us swatting away the gnats, and that he was sorry, but they "just put the plant there, and thought they had purchased soil that was clean". Come on, you're running a restaurant and should never make excuses for cleanliness! The food arrived. The casserole seemed like it wasn't fresh, masked by being microwaved to 400F. About half way in, I pulled a strand of hair out of a clump of casserole.... It can happen, but combined with the gnats and overall lack of cleanliness, it's too much. As we sat there, maybe it was just that day or time, but the thought for me was that the best days of the restaurant were in the past. The eclectic decor was dated and had many surfaces (eg picture frames) needing a wipe down to remove dust. I honestly feel bad to leave this review, as the owners are real people just trying to make it. That said, I hope they can step it up. It is a promising location, and there is little else in the area.

We got the grilled haddock one was on gluten free bread (was nice not a huge mark up .)The sandwiches were very good . Got onion rings and hand cut fries both were delicious. Absolutely loved the coleslaw would have been happy with just that . Looked nice inside very casual with nice outside seating area as well . The pumpkin whoopee pie was excellent and looked like some wonderful cakes and pies all made there.

I was visiting from California and it seems the bartender and bouncer had their eye on me for whatever reason from the minute I walked through the door and they scanned my ID. I'm an otherwise non-threatening looking, rather ordinary mid 30's lady. I certainly don't look like a problem. We were totally fun loving and appropriate patrons throughout our stay, right up until we were rudely accosted by these crappy people. Needless to say, we were banned for life. I have to say that I will GLADLY oblige this ban. This place BLOWS!

This was the most disappointing meal I've ever had there. I'm not sure how they could've called it a ribeye steak. We also ordered chips and salsa and the salsa they sent. I don't know what it was, but it didn't taste anything like salsa and we had to throw it out. The guacamole they included was maybe 2 teaspoons if that and I'm being generous, my husband said his meal was the worst he'd ever gotten from there and we would never order from there again.
