A nice little place hidden in the Saint Anthony/ Minneapolis. I was attending a meeting, and they order us burrito from this location because it was a new place that we haven't try before. I got the barbacoa burrito without beans, my coworkers got either a beef burrito or pork burrito. It was good; however, it does lack the meatiness to the burrito. It had more rice than anything in the burrito. I thought if I got no beans, they would maybe add a little more meat. It did have a somewhat sour taste to it. It is alright, the cheese queso was delicious and it came with a whole bag of chips. The red and green sauce that it came with is not spicy at all. The green one has a small kick of heat, but the other one was not spicy. They taste like salsas. In the future, I still would definitely want to try something else. There are more than just the burrito. read more

We ordered takeout from the new Woodbury location tonight. Technically, I ordered for pick up at the New Brighton location by mistake. They were very understanding, called the other location to ask them to refund my purchase and made my order fresh. I was embarrassed but they were very gracious. We ordered the Al Pastor burrito and the chicken nachos. I really appreciated that you could make selections on the side and choose "easy" for less or extra for more. I thought all the ingredients were very fresh and the presentation was nice- easy to transport too. I'm happy to see another family-owned business open in Woodbury and I'll look forward to our next order! read more

In a clean and modern storefront with friendly service (with a Spanish accent), I found a huge and delicious carnitas burrito stuffed to the gills. Fast service at dinner time, definitely will be back. Music was a little loud, but it was authentic at least. They even have halal meat, if you're into that. read more

Don't let its strip mall location surrounded by chain restaurants fool you, Listo! is the real deal. This is the place Chipotle wishes it was, heck this is the place most Mexican restaurants wish they were. Everything is prepared fresh to order, including meat, leaving it all rich with flavor. I order the burrito al pastor, which isn't just freshly grilled pork, but the pineapples from the marinade as well. An Al pastor lover's dream. Their default "Listo way" includes guacamole, cheese, beans, cilantro, and rice, but not many vegetables so I'll typically add pico for a small up charge. A word on hot sauces: they offer three at levels mild, medium, and hot. They don't mess around with spice, so unless you're confident try mild first and go from there. Man oh man I love listo! I haven't been since I moved out of NE so I had to make a stop when I visited the Quarry. We ordered the nachos with carnitas, al pastor tacos, and chips and queso. My partner said this was the best al pastor she's had in a while! The nachos were massive and did not skimp on the cheese or toppings. The space has some tables to sit but not many. This place just keeps making me want to move within walking distance of their location. Their tacos: Chicken Tinga, Barbacoa; and Carnitas all have one thing in common, you never feel as though you've ordered enough. We get three tacos each and the Barbacoa is the king of tacos, whether you get Street Style or Listo! Way. We do prefer Street Style, because it doesn't have sour cream. Yes, you can get it without. why bother altering, when you can get what you want directly? The flavor balance to the heat (we get extra hot) is perfection on a corn tortilla. The tacos are not overfilled, so there's no difficulty with eating them. The meat feels and tastes as though it has been slow cooked with an amount of love only an Abuelita can create. The burritos are also stellar, though tacos are usually what we eat. Do yourself a favor and get here! read more

Nice people in the front and back. I visited twice. The first time I got the breakfast, chicken, and al pastor burritoes all with a bunch of the toppings. Chicken burrito was great but the breakfast burrito is what brought me back. The breakfast burrito is better earlier in the day, as I expect all the breakfast toppings are freshly made. I am from out of town but this place was a hidden gem behind Target. The food was fresh and so tasty. The portion sizes were huge. We enjoy stopping by at Listo when we got a day full of errands and we end up in the Quarry. My husband usually gets the burrito, the listo way. He likes it best with Asada. He gets the extra hot salsa and does fine. I switch between the burrito bowl and street style tacos, depending on how hungry I am. I always take leftovers when I get the bowl. I also usually go with asada but this time went with the ground beef. I've enjoyed both. I usually go with hot salsa. It's not very spicy to me but has a nice kick. I like to order their horchata as well! I checked in with Yelp this time and got free chips and salsa. My husband didn't care for the salsa but we both enjoyed the chips! They're not overly salty so keep that in mind if you like a really salty chip. Service is always great and friendly. Love knowing when we're supporting family owned businesses! read more

A lot going on in the kitchen but not a lot of food coming out. Everything is marked for take out but we were able to sit inside or on the sidewalk/patio. I just wanted to add that the sweet plaintains here are absolutely the best I've had in the Twin Cities. I love fried sweet plaintains, where they're cooked just enough to start to caramelize and and turn golden brown on the outside, and Listo does this perfectly. They serve it with a tres leche and a caramel sauce on the side for dipping, which turns this into a dessert, but you can also forego the sweet sauces and eat these as a side. Anyways, I don't think you can go wrong giving these a try! read more

This was a good lunch option when in office. We went pretty early so they weren't busy. It was a nice day so we sat outside at one of their tables. The decor is cute and food was reminiscent of Chipotle. My only complaint is the location. It's tucked away and difficult to get to. I had the burrito the Listo was and it was good. The hot salsa didn't have enough heat for me. One plus is that the burrito came automatically with guacamole. read more

We ordered delivery while watching the World Cup at Falling Knife Brewery. It came super fast! And was packaged perfectly! The fish tacos were very good. We got 4 for 4 of us... they are small, shoulda doubled that! The Barbacoa tacos were amazing. The chorizo tacos were very tasty, and will be ordering that again! So we ordered 12 tacos for 4 people, chips and guac. It was good, and just enough. The chips were delicious, and there was a decent amount of guacamole to make everybody happy! This restaurant is fabulous. My husband and I had tacos: al pastor and chorizo. They were loaded with ingredients and flavor. We also had the queso dip, also terrific. While we were there we watched them make some chicken quesadillas,...loaded with chicken and cheese!! They looked awesome. Ordered the chicken burrito bowl with all of the toppings and mild sauce "the Listo way. Rice was good, even if a little soft. All the ingredients seemed fresh and not over cooked. The black beans were a little runny, but otherwise a good burrito bowl. It could have been a little warmer, I think the chicken a bit tepid, but nothing to really complain about. I would come back. The restroom situation is a bit odd, you have to get a key, even though there are signs on the door that indicate they are "out of order". Also, it shares the fountain soda with their neighbors "Erberts & Gerberts", not sure if it is a business agreement or if they are both owned by the same folks? I get more of. Puerto Rican vibe here than Mexican, but maybe that's just me. I see they serve tostones (fried plantains) so maybe that is throwing me off. read more

New fast casual taco spot with an unexpected interior. It was very modern inside and the decor was really cute. Fish tacos 4/5: Fried fish (cod I'm guessing) wasn't the best, I think it's just frozen from somewhere but it wasn't bad and worked well with the components of the taco. The sauce on them was really delicious. Wish there was more cilantro on them but they were good (tried one with flour and one with a corn tortilla). Both equally good. Queso 3.5/5: Really thick and hard to eat when it got cooler (probably because it was real cheese). But it was good. I wish it was spicier though. We added the orange colored hot sauce to it and it made it even better. Rice and beans were pretty standard. Rice was a little hard though and I wish it had more seasoning. Overall, pretty tasty and I would come again if I was in the area. read more

I happened to be in the shopping center and the yelps looked good....so I gave listo a shot. I'm from Texas so I'm very picky about Mexican food. I had the burrito bowl with Carne Asada and it was amazing. I had a conversation with the owner and he encouraged me to try the Al Pastor since he overheard that I was reluctant because I'm very particular about Al Pastor I came back the next two days and had the Al Pastor burrito bowl both times, absolutely amazing.
