What a hidden little gem! This is quaint little spot is nestled in the middle of town and you can expect the best food around!!! Everything here is homemade and tasted great. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had the lasagna. Neither of us were disappointed, portion sizes weren't too big or small and every meal comes with complementary bread and oil. The wine selection is also quite extensive and we recommend the Moscato. Service was a little European, meaning it was a little slow, but the food is well worth the wait! I'd give a 3.5 if I could. Let's start with the good. The bread and oil are insane. Some of the best complementary bread I've ever had, and the oil to dip it in is wild. I'd drink it if I could. The pesto is also delicious. Flavorful and addictive. Eggplant parm was good, a very generous piece and it's cooked perfectly, not a pile of mush. Had a nice chew to it. Zucchini noodles were good too! Chicken parm was great as well, the chicken was tender and well seasoned. Chicken piccata had awesome sauce and the Angel hair pasta was cooked flawlessly! Now, the red sauce. I hate to say this, but some of the worst I've ever had. So, SOOOO watery and tasted like a very cheap jar from the store. It made everything turn mushy really fast and the flavor was just... not it. Really disappointed. The coconut cake was cooked well, but the icing was so overly sweet it ruined the whole thing. The building and interior are adorable and it's a nice place to go sit and feel comfortable. Service was fast and our waitress was very sweet. Over all, avoid the red sauce. It really took away from the eggplant and chicken, almost ruining both dishes. I'll for sure go back and try to work around the sauces. PS- I'm not kidding about the bread and oil. My girlfriend and I stopped at this restaurant on our way to the coast. Husband, wife owners/chef/waitress we're friendly and informative. We all loved the entrées we ordered. I had lasagna, Another friend had Stromboli another friend baked ziti. All of the food is made from scratch and you can really tell in the tomato sauce. The food was really good. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, and it was a good portion. The decor could use some help.

Service was bad. Could not get tea refill the whole meal and it only had three tables occupied. Food was not Italian. It was pasta and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauces whoever were non existent. The clam sauce had nice small clams but no flavor. The piccata which off a Levon butter sauce had no lemon or butter. Don't order the fried calamari. It it's shaped like Calamari but no taste and not fried. My wife said the wine was ok. Was so hoping we had found a good basic Italian eatery. Not so. I don't know what those four and five star reviews are but it wasn't Italian food from here, ha ha. Ambience is minimal but ok. read more

We stopped in there as a large group with no reservation after a funeral service and they seated us right away and the hostess was shy and quiet but very attentive service once we sat down. The salads were delicious and the appetizers calamari, stuffed mushrooms and cheese sticks were delicious!!! Lasagna was delicious and ravioli was delicious as well. This is our second stop here. What a jewel in Stockdale. The first time we had veal Parmesan and lasagna. Both outstanding! This time we had chicken Parmesan. Yum! Also lemon meringue pie!! This place is amazing! We live in Floresville but will be going here anytime we're craving Italian food, it's definitely worth the drive!! Mozzarella sticks are bomb as an appetizer, the bread is homemade you can tell just by the smell and so delicious! Highly recommend the chicken parm alfredo, meatball sub sandwhich & we ordered a pizza to go for lunch tomorrow! I nearly asked for extra marina to go too just because, it's so good! Wow! What's not to love? Service and food were flawless. I had Chicken Piccata and my husband had Shrimp Primavera. He's not a huge pasta fan but loved his spicy dish. I'm a huge pasta fan and my Chicken Piccata was perfection. Lemony, buttery, tons of capers and tender angel hair. Fresh bread topped off a great meal. After enjoying a beautiful hike we decided to stop here. I'm so glad we did. The food and customer service was amazing. The meal sizes were perfectly filling Our 3 year is a picky eater and not only did he enjoy the bread but he ate al of his raviolis with Alfredo sauce. My older son loved his meatball sandwich and my husband enjoyed his spaghetti and meat balls. I had the lasagna and that too was very delicious.
