The employee was polite and was just following the rules, so this isn't about her. The real issue is the system and lack of flexibility. There should be an easier way for staff to look up a paid order, or for the Subway website/app to offer a solution when someone needs to adjust their pickup time after their order is placed. Being stuck waiting an hour for something that was already paid for feels really inconvenient when it could be fixed with better access or training. Hopefully the store or Subway's system can make this process smoother in the future.
