Their orange chicken and rice is what's for dinner today. It was new on the menu and is one of my new favorites here. The service is great and the staff is too. The owner makes you feel like family and is very attentive to all her customers. The decor in this place is amazing. Take a drive out to Somerset to visit this beautiful restaurant.

What a great little restaurant Cactus Country Kitchen is. It's hard to believe that this little restaurant is in Somerset. Cute decor inside and out. The food is really good and homemade. I had the two eggs over medium which I'll have to say were a little on over easy side but we're still good. The hash browns were delicious, sausage and bacon along with a homemade biscuit made it a complete breakfast. I promise, you won't leave hungry. Now the breakfast I just described is called the pretty cowgirl on the menu. I would change the name next time the menu is done. Because that's silly. Other than that the food was delicious and the service was very good. I know I'll be back again.

It's was very good! Homemade cooking done right! Just bring your patients because they're still ironing out some operational qinks. Very friendly staff. We were watching the food being brought out to the other tables, and everything looked awesome! Freshly prepared. It's not like chain restaurants. I hope they continue to grow. We will be back again and again.

First time here. We heard about it from family so we decided to try it out and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and service was great. Definitely will be our go to spot and what makes it better is that it's in town. Avoiding the city rush! Glad we have something amazing in our community!

FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Woohoo! Been looking for chili cheese fries and happened upon a review for this place boasting fries with a homemade chili so we HAD TO stop in tonight. THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.

But they do lettuce wrapped, still not the same though. The service is always great since I have the extra modifications. The ambiance is nice, we are able to hear each other speak even though there are tv's playing. I'm a sucker for their bistro burger and the cucumber cup as a side.

I wish it had stayed hidden from me. While the mushrooms were hot and delicious, the rest of the food that came after was not. We had the meatloaf special, meatloaf was over seasoned and dry, mashed potato's were as if they just took a dry baked potato and made it look like mashed potatoes, very dry. Bacon avocado cheeseburger... they forgot the cheese, we added a cold piece, then they were not added a very small ring of mayo and no mustard, so I had to ask for condiments to add to my burger. The patty was unseasoned and tasted previously frozen that layed on top of 1 wilted piece of lettuce, and tomato and a smear of avocado. We left everything on the table, still paid by wouldn't recommend eating here

The servers I dealt with were above kind and advice given ! I genuinely felt so welcome and not annoyed by over visits! Ease and comfort is what this place is about! The only down fall was when I walked in and was unsure if it was self seating order at the bar or what, but thankfully a server m came and told me to sit wherever and that she'd be right with me! The experience as…read morea whole was fantastic: warm, attentive service, a beautifully restored house, and food that invites you to slow down and enjoy every bite. We started with the beet and dill salmon on crostini, which was such a fun and memorable dish. Piling everything on yourself made it interactive, almost playful, and you could make each bite as beautiful as you wanted. The flavors were bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. We ordered all of the entrées--choucroute, hanger steak, and sweet pea risotto--and every single one was delicious. That said, the risotto completely stole the show for me. Creamy and rich without being heavy, it was packed with mushrooms, sweet peas, and delicate pea shoots. The salty, umami depth from the cheese paired beautifully with little bursts of sweetness from the peas--it was honestly exceptional. Outlaw Kitchen is the kind of place where everything works together: the food, the service, and the space. It feels intentional, personal, and special without ever being pretentious. We were blown away on our first visit and can't wait to come back.

Everything was well timed, except when we were trying to get the check. All the staff seemed to be kind and professional. The patio is lovely, but I imagine it can be uncomfortable in the summer heat. Now for the food. Overall it was good. I found some components spectacular, but felt like some lacked seasoning. I was looking forward to the arancini the most. The croquet itself was crunchy and that cheese was definitely telefono style, but needed some seasoning. The pomodoro was tasty, but the basil made it fabulous. Y'all know how I feel about basil. The ravioli was filled with spinach, mushroom, and ricotta with a brown butter sage sauce. It was delicious and the portion was perfect. My favorite part though was the crunchy shitaki "bacon"and butternut squash. I would take a bowl of that in a heartbeat and would absolutely go back for a butternut squash main dish. It was perfectly roasted and full of flavor and those shitaki were amazing. The preserved lemon vinaigrette over lettuces was phenomenal. Incredible fresh flavor. Desert was chocolate torte and sour cream ice cream. The ice cream was the absolute star of the show. The sweet vanilla was incredible. I sampled the halibut and shrimp and it was perfectly cooked. I would definitely come back to try other offerings.
