Not to mention eternally relieved to have finally completed a state inspection. What would otherwise be classified as an innocuous, yet necessary tradition, you would be surprised how difficult it is to find a place to get a proper state inspection done IF you're new to the area and not quite sure where to go. Worse yet....if you happen to have tint on your front windows like I did, you'd be hard pressed to find a place that will even perform said inspection, as it apparently violates NH state law. Anyway, this place is fast, efficient, and the staff are very accommodating. They even have a spiffy little waiting area with coffee and everything. Also, they accept Apple Pay. Which....I didn't realize until AFTER I already paid them with my card. See, they have one of those scanners that displays the option as the total is presented. I told the lady at the front desk they should probably post a sticky on the front door mentioning as much. This is such a convenient spot for me to get my state inspection and whatever else done because it's so close to where I live. And affordable? You bet your ass they are! The police informed me that the tow truck would drop me off nearby or bring me to the shop. Since I was just south of exit 6 on route three I asked to be dropped off right off exit 6. The tow truck told me it would be $250 to be dropped off anywhere but the tow truck yard. I told him I just needed to be dropped off right off the exit and he pointed south on route three and said rudely, "I'm going THAT way". When I found out the shop was in , I was extremely confused. He obviously had to turn around and go north on route three past the exit I was asking to be dropped off on. I called the next morning, and asked what their policy was for being dropped off nearby. The man on the phone informed me that it was free to be dropped off right off an exit. I then told him what I was told the previous night and he told me that "I was hysterical and ran straight to the police officer." I then asked him how he knew who I was and informed him that was not what happened. Unfortunately, I had the unpleasant experience of having to go there to sign a written release so my insurance could pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, I said a friendly hello to the man at the counter to which he put up a finger and said "one moment" without looking up from his computer screen. I had to sign a waiver, releasing them of all liability if I fell on the ice rink that is their property. After, I was told I could get my personal belongings out of my vehicle, but I could not find it in the tow yard. I would avoid this company at all in the future. I do not know how much my insurance will have to pay or how much I am going to have to pitch in, but I am very unhappy with the customer service, lies, and general sketchiness of this company.
