We ordered a whole house worth of lights from Tal and Lite Line Illuminations. We visited the shop several times and they were always very helpful in narrowing down fixtures, finding alternatives and comparable fixtures, explaining their own and their customers' experiences, making sure we'd be ok for Title 24, etc. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we'd be happy, to the extent of letting us borrow a fixture to try out on-site. The prices were as good as or better than the usual online vendors but with the benefit of all that help before the sale. And it turned out that post-sale was even better. The island pendants we picked out were a brand-new fixture and they seem to be going through some quality control issues in the first batches. Two of the three had a slightly misaligned diffuser that we didn't notice until the lights were hung a few days before our inspection. Tal let us keep the lights in-place while he re-ordered them. The next set that was shipped out still had the same problem (Tal checked them himself - we didn't have to do anything) but he kept at it until we got some that look great - a month or more after our inspection and after we'd moved in - at which point we took down the defective ones and replaced them. Good luck trying that with an online shop. We couldn't be happier with the customer service before, during, and after the sale. read more

Tal and Maia provided us amazing customer service from start to finish. Not only did they share their own experiences about various vendors from quality of finishes to lighting it self, but they helped find alternative items if a particular item we liked would not work due to Title 24 concerns or other issues. Tal helped us navigate different options to meet all of our needs. I was particularly struck by their service after our lighting was installed. We had a couple scratches on one of the pendants, and without hesitation, they immediately ordered a new one for us at no cost. All I had to do was return the old one and pick up the new one. We could not be more pleased with their customer service, and the products we ordered from them are simply amazing. When we have visitors come to our new house, they immediately comment about the lighting and how beautiful all of our fixtures turned out. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! We believe that lighting MAKES the house. So when we started our whole house remodel, we didn't want to skimp on the lighting. Even our interior decorator who helped us w/ coordinating colors admitted she doesn't know much about the latest lights technology. So are we glad we found Lite Line to design the entire house's lighting plan and supply all the lighting. Tal gave us an attractive combination of recessed lights, ceiling mounts, pendants, sconces, under cabinet lights, monorail track lights to complement each room's function and decor. (We didn't want to end up w/ recessed lights simply lined up that would make our ceiling look like an airport runway.) Tal then provided us w/ energy efficient LED lights wherever we could. More expensive initially but will save us $$ in the long run. His shop is full of beautiful decorative fixtures too. Our friends, real estate agent, and interior decorator have asked where we got our unique sconces, monorail track and ceiling fixtures from. Tal also supplied the entire house's light switches. Glad we didn't try to get them ourselves. We wouldn't have known that certain LED lights require a certain type of switch. For example, he gave us an auto on & off programmable motion sensing switch for the kitchen pantry (handy when your hands are full, or with kids who forget to shut off the light). Also, Lite LIne's customer service is awesome. They exchanged a couple of defective recessed cans, took back a ceiling fan light when we changed our mind and went w/ a monorail track light instead. When we ordered too many light switches by mistake, Tal took them back and gave us a refund. He even got me the proper switch for kitchen island pendants that I bought from another store. I don't know if other shops would be as flexible and accommodating. Lance was also very helpful, bundling our 80+ recessed lights together and switches/bulbs by the room and labeling them so contractors can install in the right room. Everyone there is friendly, patient and helpful. Our remodel is done and the house is nice and bright, and dimmable when we want it. Thanks Lite Line! read more
