I recently purchased two complete Grohe shower sets from Gooder's Supply. In hindsight, I should have done more research beforehand--these ended up costing more than three times the price of similar options at Costco, where the products are actually Hansgrohe, which is generally considered a higher-end line. That said, I understand this may not be specific to Gooder's Supply, as their pricing seems consistent with standard retail pricing across authorized dealers. The more frustrating issue, however, was the lack of service after the purchase. Once the payment was made, it became very difficult to get any follow-up support. Avoid Gooder at all costs - completely unprofessional design service and zero accountability. We paid Gooder for their full-service cabinet design, trusting them to deliver a professional, detail-oriented result. We specifically provided the exact model of our drawer-style microwave early in the design process. What we weren't told--and what any competent designer should have known--is that this microwave can be installed in two ways: 1. Standard installation, where the microwave protrudes past the cabinet face, and 2. Flush mount installation, where it sits seamlessly within the cabinet frame. Gooder never informed us of this critical difference. Their in-store displays were all flush-mounted. The manufacturer's website images also showcase flush installations. Naturally, we assumed that was what we'd get. But when the cabinets arrived and we attempted installation, we realized the microwave could not be flush-mounted with the cabinets as designed. The result? * The microwave juts out awkwardly. * There is a visible gap so large we can literally stick a finger through it. * The aesthetics are terrible, and functionally it also affects the drawer cabinet below. When we contacted Gooder, they took zero responsibility. Their excuse? "You didn't specifically request a flush install." That's unacceptable. We're paying for a design service precisely because we expect the designer to flag critical compatibility details--not for us to study every product image and anticipate these issues ourselves. Even more frustrating, I proactively suggested reasonable fixes--such as modifying the cabinet slightly or adding a trim frame--to salvage the situation. Their response? "Oh, we can't do that." Days later, their so-called "solution" was to send us bigger hinges. Seriously? How would that solve the protruding microwave? What about the drawer underneath? What about the giant gap? It was a completely useless suggestion, showing they had no intention of helping us find a real fix. Summary: * Poor communication * Lack of design expertise * No attention to product compatibility * No ownership when problems arise * Pathetic, non-solutions offered after the fact Gooder was happy to take our money but disappeared the moment an issue came up. This experience was deeply disappointing and incredibly frustrating. Do not waste your time or money here. We ordered a vanity from Gooder. BIG mistake. I do not recommend this place. The sales process went smoothly, but once the order went through I quickly learned the turn-around time we were promised was a complete fabrication. In fact, instead of the 6 weeks they estimated, it was an additional 8 weeks past the time they said it would take. On top of this, getting them to respond to our questions and status inquiries was impossible. We called, left voice mails, sent emails, and it all fell into a black hole. Finally, we decided that the only way to get answers would be to show up at the shop and surprise them. We had to do this 3 times to get answers and updates on our order. We were working with the general manager and the designer, and neither would communicate with us unless we ambushed them at the store. Finally, when we were told our vanity was ready there was an issue with bonding material for the countertop. They ended up re-doing the countertop 3 times, adding additional time. Then when the vanity was delivered it was damaged. There were big scrapes across the drawer and door panel. It took another 2 weeks for the panels to be replaced. At the end of the day, the vanity is nice, but the quality is very poor. There are spots where Gooder used some cleaner or oil on it, and it is impossible to remove. The overall design is lovely, but the hassle and frustration we endured over the lack of communication from Gooder's staff just wasn't worth it. read more

We did our kitchen and bathroom remolding with almost everything (cabinets, tiles and fixtures) from Gooder Supply. The whole process is fairly smooth. The price is competitive. The sales and designer are professional. They are willing to go extra miles during the service: we wanted handless design for our cabinet and also wanted to keep the slick look. Our designer and sales updated multiple version of design for us and contacted Germany supplier to get the specific fixture for us. Our kitchen after remolding is really beautiful and functional. Their after sale service is good too. Unfortunately one of the Germany brand hardware that we used for push to open drawer was not working after one year. After I talked to our salesman, he helped me to contact the manufacturer and have a technician come to our house to replace it for free. Don't buy here, go to somewhere more professional and save yourself troubles. Here are the hard lessons we learnt: 1) They are not professionals. We ordered a window with Egress requirements clearly laid out in the quoting email, but we end up getting it (cost $1k) that don't meet Egress which lead to a failed inspection. To provide the full story, in our quote, we wrote: "6' * 6', sliding, egress, sound proof"; During consultation, we asked if we can change the design to XOX. They carelessly changed that without inform us that this will lead to a non-Egress window. When we are asked to sign off, they have no mention of this either. Windows is one of the items in your construction that you need to pay special attention as there are so many variation and requirements. A professional window/door company will ask for your design drawing and be extra careful with all the requirements. This place can't provide that professional service you are looking for. 2) Another example of unprofessionalism - We ordered a couple of skylights, they almost screwed us with the skylight high-profile/low-profile option when they recklessly recommend high-profile, reason is "people usually go with that one". Fortunately we did our own research afterwards and correct that before the items were delivered. 3) Customer service after-sale is bad. We contacted them hope to resolve this. The only option they gave is: re-order with an increased price and a 2 month waiting time, with an attitude of: any mistake is yours.. They won't own any of their mistake. I had my 3 bathroom remodeled recently and purchased almost all plumbing fixtures from Gooder Supply. The sales lady (Ava Jin) was very helpful along the process, from finding the right products that suit my needs to communicating with the manufacturer for replacement when we found some issues with the products. Ava is very responsive and diligent. It is needless to say that COVID has caused delay on every production line, but thanks to Ava's scheduling & communication skills and hard work, my project finished right on time. I would have given 5 stars to Gooder Supply for Ava's work, but have to minus 1 star due to the fact that the Grohe faucets I got had quite a few defects. Though Ava resolved all of them after all, the process is quite time consuming and stressful due to Grohe's hilarious return policy - "faucets cannot be returned after they are installed, even if they are leaky upon first use" - but, hey, how would you know if a faucet is defected/leaky without installing them! Other products I purchased from Gooder Supply had 0 issues though. Mentioning this just so that other customers will be aware of Grohe's bad customer service before making decisions. read more

After picked up the hundreds of tiles, we found out that they were a few boxes MISSING and 1 box BROKEN. They promise look it up but never followed up. Eventually they just refuse to refund. This was not the end. They also charge 25% of all returns with NO cap (not the general rule of max $75). We stumbled upon Gooder supply after visiting the Porcelanosa show room next store. Gooder's Prices are amazing and they offer a huge range of brands from low end to super high end. They were the only store from among the 10+ we visited that offered discounts on WOW tiles, a very high end tile brand. We ended up buying all of the tile, tile trims, lighting, medicine cabinets, range hood and more from Gooder. They price match sometimes as well. This store will make you feel good in a much better way than Home Depot or Lowes. Like really happy and satisfied that you've gotten some good s***t! Pros and cons of Gooder supply: 1. Pro: Excellent helpful staff. if you are a total newbie to the art of bathroom remodeling like moi, they will help you figure out what you need to get i.e. all the bits that go into a shower, into a hand held shower, all the bits that go into the wall of the shower; the drain, the elbow, the hair catcher, the decorative cover for the drain that I ended up not using, the wall tile vs the floor tile vs the floor of the shower tile etc.. 2. Pro: their showroom has some nice bathrooms set up with tile, glass, showers so that you can see the finished product. Their display of tile is also well done- the tiles are set on an angle so that you can stand at one end of the display case and look down the aisle to see the differences in tile. 3. Con: just a little con: they do not carry the tile - they have to order it for you. Sometimes this can take as long as 48-96 hours. so if you're in a rush, don't expect to get things right now. Same for frameless shower enclosures. You will need to bring them the measurements for the wall of the shower (once tile has been laid), then they will order the frameless glass and waiting time is another week, easy. 4. Con: when your tile comes, they give you a call. It takes some time, like 20-30 minutes, for them to figure out where in the back they have stored your tile. So be patient! 5. Tip: it was really busy in the store when I came in on a Friday afternoon. But the same store on a Monday morning or Thursday at noon is quiet. BTW Richard is great- very helpful. read more
