We've had a wonderful experience with Little Angels so far. You can't beat the proximity to home, for easy drop offs and pick ups, plus if your little one ever needs to come home early. The infant room is very cute and cozy, and every time i walk in, the babies and toddlers seem to be having a great time! We have made friends here, and our kids have made friends here. read more

We've had such a positive experience with Little Angels. I had my daughter enrolled at 18 months and shes been treated with so much love and care. She's learned a lot of great skills and made her first friends. In her time at the school she has experienced cultural days, petting zoo, water play days, a magic show, holiday pageant and a lot of other cool activities. It's been great to get to know other local parents by attending birthdays and school activities. I love getting the pictures and video clips from her activities throughout the day. She started with Miss Brittani and Miss Ashley, was with Miss Alex and now is in Miss Danielle and Miss India's class. The Montessori approach has really worked well for my daughter. She is 2.5 and knows all her letters, is counting to 20, can spell and recognize her name and a couple other simple words. read more

We've had a truly wonderful experience with Little Angels Montessori. Our son started attending over a year ago when he was two and a half, and the growth we've seen in him has been remarkable. The teachers treat the children with genuine respect and give them the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace. Beyond academics, he's developed valuable practical life skills that continue to impress us. Because we've been so happy with the environment, we decided to enroll our daughter when the infant center opened. It's never easy for a parent to leave a 6-month-old at daycare, but we have complete trust in Little Angels--and our daughter absolutely loves it there. Highly recommend Little Angels for your kiddo. My son started there at 2 years-old with no previous daycare/school experience. He started out with sensory issues and an expressive speech delay. With the help of the amazing teachers and staff, he has grown tremendously over the past couple of years. He now participates in circle time, learns real-life skills, plays with peers, and is verbal with the help of speech therapy and socialization with his friends at school. We have been very grateful to watch him progress there. It's also a plus that his teachers are great at communication. I feel very comfortable sending him to school during the week. This is a long overdue review. I'm not much of a person to place a review especially a bad one but when it comes to children I think it's best to speak out my experience so others can be aware & do more research on where they decide to place their kids. I only had my child here for about 2 months due to such a non pleasant experience. It was my 2 yr olds first time in a school/center so I knew he was going to have trouble getting used to it so in the beginning him holding on to me and crying he didn't want to stay there I saw it as he needed to just get used to it and he'd do so within time. With one month in he still didn't like being left there but I didn't think much of it still. They posted only updates of pictures and what he had for breakfast and lunch very rarely and in every picture I would see him with teary eyes. My son was non verbal at the time going to speech therapy and the school was aware, and I thought being around other kids or being taught skills that were promised he'd start to speak out more but it was the opposite. He started to lash out and learned to hit to express himself instead but I was only told of one incident by the staff. Another concerning time I was told by another parent that had their daughter their, she went early to pick up her daughter one day and all the kids were outside playing except my son, she saw him inside sitting down on a table crying. I was never informed if anything happened that day or if he was on time out or anything for that matter. Super red flag. I pulled him out after that, didn't even let him finish the week. Signing in was also a safety issue for me , sometimes I'd forget to sign him in or sign him out being in such a hurry and I'd let them know right away and they said they would take care of it. When checking the app they'd never do anything so sometimes it was like he was never present when he was which is concerning. I myself one time witnessed when picking up my son, the manager person or whomever was the one that interviewed before starting the program grab a little girl by one arm because she was climbing on a bookshelf and set her down like a doll type with no care or warning first. I understand it's dangerous and to take her off so she wouldn't fall was very necessary but there is better ways to do it not in a way where you can possibly break the child's arm or teach the child in a better way so she would not put herself in danger again. I can't put in exact words how that situation looked but if you would've seen how it was done you'd be concerned and question how safe your child actually is being there. This all took place about 2 years ago. Hopefully they've become a better program but I'd never go back or place any of my kids here again. read more

My toddler daughter and I absolutely love Little Angels Montessori! My daughter has been attending preschool here for nearly a year and I have seen her develop so quickly. She was behind in her speech and was an extremely picky eater before she attended this school. My daughter was at 3 other facilities before this and none of them were able to help. She can't stop talking now and actually eats food at school! She will also recite the things she learned at school when she is at home, so I know that there is a meaningful curriculum at school. The administrators and teachers here are excellent and my daughter loves each one of them. A huge thank you to Ms. Manisha, Ms. Allison, Ms. Berly, Ms. Tatiana, Ms. Ruby, and Ms. Grace! They create such a fun and loving atmosphere that my daughter always joyfully shouts, "There's my school!" when we are driving to school in the morning. read more

Little Angels Montessori provides a friendly , high quality, and safe learning environment for students. We highly recommend this school. The teachers are kind and clearly passionate about what they do. Our daughter is making friends and they foster a learning environment that is very tailored to the individual needs of the students. Also, they keep us updated about our child's progress and any concerns through a wonderful application that also provides an extra layer of security. They only allow pre-approved and screened people to pick up the children and each person has an individual pick up code. This process has been everything in ensuring the peace of mind of myself and my husband. read more

It's been about a year since we've left LA and I've been meaning to update my review. It's said that the first three years of a child's life is critical and I deeply regret not pulling him sooner. He learned to bite, hit, and become physical here. While this might be developmentally appropriate for that age, I think it was brought on because of the lack of structure and the chaotic environment. I will say that when I complained about my son's injuries - a fat lip and what looked like a blood blister on his nose, Manisha divided the two year old class the next day which reduced the teacher to child ratio but no teacher on duty could tell me what happened. We had our child in this school from age 2-3. Here is our experience: Pro's: -Ms Linda, Ms Gracie, Ms Ruby and Ms Ashley are amazing. Ms Ashley is the only one who is a lead teacher and she teachers the youngest class. The other teachers are floater staff/helper teachers Cons: -They don't actually teacher Montessori materials until the 3 year old class. Ms Brenda allegedly had to sign a contract promising that she would actually start to introduce real Montessori class work because she was allowing the kids to free play all day while she sat on the tablet -They say they upload one picture a day and the log for toileting/sleeping (while in 2 year old class and below) and this NEVER happened. We would never know if our child slept, ate, or toileted. We complaining numerous times and it never got better. When we would ask, we would often get an "I'm not sure" or "I think she may have slept." -Ms. Brenda screamed at the kids. The other teachers there told us and my child would come home saying she was scared of Ms Brenda and repeating what she would yell. -I firsthand saw the 5-6 year old teacher Ms Prescious scream in a little boys face. -Ms Burley. She is the reason we pulled our child out. She was negative and rude to the children. She complained about our child daily that she wasn't sitting for two hours doing worksheets/work time and couldn't write. She was two at the time. She got moved up to her class prematurely because academically she was meeting milestones (really Ms Manisha the director just wanted to fill other classes with kids to make more money so she pushed kids up who weren't ready). When we explained that she is 2 almost 3, Ms Burley claimed she was unaware because our daughter "looks older." We met with the directors and they said they spoke to Ms Burley about it, however h witnessed myself her speaking down to my child (and other kids) complaining about how Ms Brenda didn't prepare the kids for Ms Burkeys class and how she was sent from the Carson location to "clean it up." I didn't feel safe or comfortable with my child continuing in her class after how she spoke to my child. -the teacher retention is extremely low. My child has 4-5 random teachers and substitutes for months because they would quit after a few weeks. They are an expensive school and truthfully are not worth it. The teachers are unprofessional and lazy (with the exception of those mentioned above). I advocated for my child and the other children and the response by Ms Brenda was "be careful what you say to that mom, she works for DCFS" (I do and am a child abuse social worker). Ms Manisha is very kind but it is clear her motivation is money and not the quality of teachers. I would not recommend sending your child to this school. read more

My baby girl loves it here. She is always doing activities. She come home talking about all her friend and what books she read and color she painted. Ms. Brenda, Ms. Ruby, Ms. Grace. And Ms. Linda ( always say my daughter is good) lol even though i know she running them lol i just love the energy and care they provide to all the toddlers. Thank you thank you. Absolutely loved this school. I had a great experience at Little Angels Montessori. I highly recommend them. My son started at 18 months and I was extremely anxious about leaving my baby boy with someone other than family. Baby boy cried the first few days but soon started reaching out for his teacher during morning drop off. My son's teachers, Ms. Brittani, Ms. Dileepa, and Ms. Ashley, were all kind and nurturing. They were such a dynamic team with special gifts that worked well together. I always received notifications about any incidents and issues were always conveyed in a respectful, professional manner. My son grew academically and socially. He added tons of words to his vocabulary. They have a professional cook who prepares breakfast, two snacks, and lunch for the kids. There are so many great things I can highlight about the school. It's hard to choose. One of my favorite programs was their Mother's Day celebration. They served breakfast, had a balloon arch, mother and child activities, and a photo op section. I was beyond impressed. It was hard to say goodbye to the school. I'm now struggling to find a daycare I like since the bar was set so high. The director, Ms. Manisha, has done a wonderful job following her passion. She's truly inspiring.
