I will never spend my money at this establishment again. I placed an order over the phone and waited 20 minutes before going inside to pick it up. When I arrived, an older woman working the counter was on the phone, so I waited patiently on the left side of the counter. When she hung up, she completely ignored my presence and immediately began serving a Caucasian customer on the far right.I am a returning customer and know firsthand that this establishment has never strictly enforced a single-file line for order pickups. I stood there for several minutes without a single word of acknowledgment. After about eight minutes--and after more customers had walked in--she finally looked over and stated they only use one line.Had she simply greeted me when she got off the phone and clearly explained where to line up, it would have prevented all confusion. Instead, she expected me to go to the back of the line behind three people who had arrived long after I did. Her behavior was dismissive, unprofessional, and felt explicitly prejudiced. Front-line staff should know how to acknowledge waiting guests and provide clear direction. This was entirely unacceptable customer service. read more

I'm in love with this resturant! I'm here very often. This is a place where it's easy to have a good conversation with your friends. The staff is always friendly. My favorite is the Atomica Pizza, the pepperoni and. Sausage is so delicious on the pizza. I also love the lasagna, it's even better warmed up the second day. When the weather is warm it's so nice when they open up the huge window that resembles a huge see through garage door to let the fresh air in, it gives the feel of out door seating throughout the entire restaurant. I wasn't fond of the super crunchy crust once it cooled but we did finish most of the pie so that's a sign. Next time I'll probably dine in and try the pasta. Overall I would go back for pie. The service here, is pleasant and tables are clean and readily available for small or large size parties. Moreland is a busy location, but the atmosphere is not too loud. However, if you do want to have a party, and will get a little loud, it is accepted and quite OK to take the large center table. . Wife and I came in craving some spaghetti, and I'm glad we did. They have a pretty decent assortment of pastas and pizzas. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. Noodles were cooked perfect, the sauce was not overly pureed like alot of local "Italian" restaurants like to serve (where the sauce tastes like its just a puree out of a can, very thick and nasty). This sauce is a good tomato sauce, not too heavily seasoned, and the meatballs were plentiful and tasty. My wife had the spaghetti "rustica" which had Italian sausage and lots of zing, very flavorful and a nice change up from a regular sauce. They also have a small selection of wines It is a counter serve restaurant and they ask you to tip before your receive your meal which makes no sense to me, but staff are all friendly and welcoming. They do bring your food to the table and will bring extra items to you if you want/need. Except for the tip up front I liked the place, probably just order to go next time. Located off of busy Moreland Ave in a plaza with several food options but a tight small parking lot for so many places. My mother had the Pomodoro Alfredo pasta Chicken sausage, and mushrooms. My stepfather had the Seafood pasta fettuccine with shrimp, clams, broccolini and tomatoes. I had the Chef special cheese ravioli, broccolini, tomatoes, peppers, in a tomato pepper pasta sauce. It was yummy. My brother had the Chicken parmigiana and chicken sausage pizza. He is a regular here and loves their food. Everyone enjoyed their food. I wish the vinaigrette dressing was on the side because I didnt finish it all & was like I know itll be great w ranch dressing. Thats my fav dressing. My coworkers enjoyed their pizzas too. Id imagine we'd be coming more often once the weather gets nice. Theres a lot of law enforcement in there too so if your one of those that dont care to be in their presence Id suggest uber eats. You place your order at the counter and they give you a ticket number and a number for your table so they know where to bring the food . Service is quick-- which I like during lunch hour because they understand most ppl are looking for in and out service. I eat here so often it's a shame. I love the pesto rigatoni. I get various types of pasta, sometimes with salmon, sometimes with chicken sausage, spinach or sun-dried tomatoes. I love the fried shrimp appetizer. I'm coming for the risotto and tortellini next. The ambiance is basic... I mean I'm a NYer, so this is my version of my corner store "cheers" Italian spot. Met someone for late lunch meeting and place was occupied with business groups, groups with young children and several to go orders. Ordering is at register which allows observation of entire restaurant. Menu board is well organized with many options. Ordered a chicken panini with Caesar salad and my companion opted for dessert only. We were given cups for beverage station in order area near entrance and given table number for order. Opted for iced tea and selected table in dining area. Food was delivered momentarily and looked appetizing. The cheesecake slice was huge. Panini tasted good but salad lacked dressing. Cheesecake was good but majority of it was left unfinished. Most chain restaurants are good, but often lack in consistency.
