Mixed feelings. Drive though did not take long (a Sunday) but they did not give me my (2 orders) hash browns! The country ham and biscuits n Gravy were good. However, the sausage, egg n cheese biscuit had scrambled eggs on it and that was very awkward and messy. Plus not much cheese. I also ordered spicy sausage links. I don't know if they gave me red links instead, but that is what they looked like instead of what I thought I would get. Whatever it was I did not lime them. Looks like I failed to get picture. Pulling up to Little Barn, the line was around the restaurant. I arrived a little after 9 AM. I decided to go through the drive-through to order instead of going inside. I ordered a bacon biscuit with egg and cheese (bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit) and because I heard the cinnamon rolls were delicious, I decided to grab one of those as well. So, my biscuit wasn't that great. It was pretty dry and my biscuit was super well cooked. Usually crispy baking is ideal, but this was a little too crispy for my liking. The start of the show was definitely the cinnamon roll. It was gooey, soft and pillowy. It was still warm when I opened it and it smelled like cinnamon heaven. Jenny, who's been working there most of those years, was super kind and welcoming -- you can tell she really cares about the place and the customers. We tried a little bit of everything: Biscuits and Gravy - My wife ordered it. Solid although I'm not a biscuits and gravy guy. French Toast Sticks - Soft, tasty, perfectly fried, and perfect for breakfast. Chicken, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit - The biscuit was crispy outside, fluffy inside, held up great, and the layers of chicken, egg, and cheese were just right. One of the best biscuits I've had in a while! Grilled Cheese with Philly Steak and Mayo - Jenny recommended this one, and I'm so glad she did. I stopped by Little Barn in Lawrenceville and ordered the chicken biscuit with a side of gravy (an extra $2.18). Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The chicken tasted like it came from a frozen bag and had been reheated--not fresh or flavorful. The gravy was extremely salty and made the meal worst. I ended up tossing most of the meal. Hello Yelpers, I was attempting to find a breakfast spot and Little Barn is just that. Most the time, you can find the line wrapped around the building because it's not your typical McDonald's. Parking can be interesting due to the high demand of these biscuits! So I parked in the gravel lot so I would not be trapped by all the breakfasters. On the inside, table and chairs but can get crowded quick and the seating is limited. I took mine to go. From the parking, ordering and time to eat took approximately 6 min. Service was mediocre at best.. the biscuit I ordered was extremely dry, almost impossible to eat.. even with jelly. The bacon on my biscuit tasted old and had an odd taste to it. I ordered an orange juice as well and received an "orange-ish" juice. Very disappointing. read more

Sooo goood!! You wouldn't know it by looking at the Little Barn but it is FANTASTIC! A little bit of that home cooked feeling makes your food taste twice as good. Everyone we take to try their food becomes regulars like us. We try to eat there at least once a month. It's super cheap to eat there and honestly we surprised they're prices haven't gone up, but they don't need to really, there is always a line if you don't get there early enough and IT IS WORTH THE WAIT. We came here recently and ordered lunch probably not what they specialize in. Service was good and a nice young person with down syndrome brought us our order. The ambiance well you cant go in(drive thru only) . Brunswick stew was average and brisket too soggy I've had better at Buckeye's. I will do another review once I have breakfast here. read more

This Yelp entry is a bit misleading... At least it was for us. Nothing on here seems to indicate that Little Barn is now, in the year of our lord 2023, in the month of June that it is only an exclusively a takeout, Drive in window enterprise. We found ourselves in Lawrenceville on a recent morning and we never find ourselves in Lawrenceville in the mornings. I turn to Yelp for some breakfast suggestions and noticed this "southern biscuit" emporium. The photos here are indicate that the interior is quite small with only a few tables but we were willing to chance it. The drive-through window was quite slammed with cars backed up around the small building, but we parked and proceeded to the front door... Only to find that the front door is locked ... we stood there for a few moments acting a bit puzzled and a young woman came to the door and said "I can take your order but everything is take out". Since we don't live anywhere near Lawrenceville we did not take her up on the offer because we did not want to eat "Southern biscuits" in the car and since it was June eating outside is not our preference. So if you live or work in Lawrenceville you can grab the biscuits here and take them with you but if you live 25 miles away, find another place. read more

Yep! Again, failed to snap pics of my HUGE biscuit! I was so hungry I dove right into it. Promise next time to take a breath & a few pictures. I got the salmon, but what I didn't understand from the menu is that it is a salmon PATTY on a big biscuit. It isn't lox or sliced salmon. Acceptable without greatness. First time here after reading reviews and speaking with folks. I heard both the hype and many challenging reviews. My take is that the biscuits are indeed large. The biscuits are factually lighter than elsewhere. The egg was okay... it was egg after all. The bacon has good flavor but gosh it seems to have rind on it which is like eating leather shoe strings. She must be the owner or something to be able to be that rude. To say she had a stick up her butt is an understatement, it was a whole tree. I stopped by here this afternoon after reading the reviews. The staff is very friendly and the service is pretty quick. The portions are definitely large. For under 10$ you'll be well fed and probably able to share as well. That being said the food lacked depth. The biscuit had no flavor as it was lacking butter and texture. In fact it tasted like it was baked some time ago. The cinnamon roll was dry and very very sweet. The hash brows were delicious but obviously frozen. They have really good biscuits. I go by every Saturday morning before I go to work to get a biscuit. Don't know her name but it's the same lady at drive through every time she is very rude and unfriendly. I tell her good morning and have a nice day but she just takes my money hands me my food and slams window shut and walks off . I have talked to other people to she gives the same treatment to. From now on I will no longer give them my money or business till she is replaced. You can have great food but if you have bad customer service you will loose your customers and I'm one your loosing. Just go by there if you don't believe me she there I think every morning working drive through. If you hate your job that bad quit don't be rude to your customers. read more

I've always passed by Little Barn in Downtown Lawrenceville and promised myself that one day I would stop in to try the food. I finally made that happen. I was surprised to see the variety of biscuits they offered and that they had pescatarian options! I was greeted warming at the drive through. I decided to order the crab cake biscuit with a side of grits and hashbrowns. All for under 10 bucks, which I felt was a good price. The crab cake was made with imitation crab, it wasn't bad but not my fave. I would definitely try the salmon croquette biscuit next. The grits were good and so were the hashbrowns. I would definitely go back and try other breakfast items as well as their bbq. Overall a great experience, will be back to try other items. read more
