Ambiance is in a noisy food court .The honey chicken is good but not the orange chicken, The service is good and friendly. The veggies are the best! The southern cooking always is tasty and fresh. For mall food, it is a great option if you don't want a ton of greasy fast food. I am not vegetarian, but I get the 4 veggie option. Sauteed zucchini, black eye peas/beans, steamed broccoli, and garlicky green beans. The veggies are super delicious, seasoned, and filling. read more

The chicken was delivered hot, with a sticky, caramel glaze that was perfectly sweet and savory--flavors of honey and soy crept in here and there without dominating the tender, juicy chicken that was underneath. The skin was golden brown and crispy, with a nice textural counterpoint that worked well against the melt-in-your-mouth feel. Portion was also very generous, pairing the chicken with roasted vegetables that retained their flavor. No unnecessary side items, but only perfectly prepared quality ingredients. Ohmygoodness I used to love this place. I believe there's a new sheriff in town. The food is very different. Orange chicken- not sure why you can never chew it? Chicken?? Sautéed chicken- no flavor Charbroiled chicken- fatty and dark meat? Green beans- not the same and not fully cooked no soy sauce not French cut I am really sorry for this review but I spent a lot of money and couldn't eat it. I'm hopeful this was just a blip. I was really surprised to find some amazingly good food in a food court of all places. They drew me in with a free sample of sautéed chicken, but I went with the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes & gravy, KFC-style coleslaw, and added some grilled chicken because I really wanted to try that too. I was so eager to dig in I forgot to take photos. Everything was delicious despite the cafeteria-style presentation that's typically of mall food places. The only caveat is that the food tastes loaded with sugar (especially the chicken) in their sauces and glazes. I like that stuff personally, but diabetics beware! read more

Food: cafeteria style, with more variety and choices than the Asian stalls (heavy with rice, noodles, and meat that has been breaded, fried, and coated with sugary sweet sauces) and sandwich stalls (some of which have way too much bread). The green beans, young, whole and not over cooked had good flavor and texture. The broiled chicken wasn't dry. Unfortunately the fried okra isn't crisp. Facility and location- it's in a good court in a large mall so there is parking around the mall and when you arrive it's a big noisy area with many tables-but if you are shopping (or after a movie) it's a quick, convenient place to rest & get a bite to eat before more shopping. Not a destination dining spot. While we were there, there were 3 people constantly cleaning up so the tables and floors were not dirty. Price -all restaurant stalls seemed to price meals $7-$10 before beverages. read more

I like the fact that this place offers healthy dining in the usually unhealthy food court of the Mall of Georgia. Lots of choices for those wanting tasty food without a lot of unnecessary crap calories. Why only three stars? Well because their chargrilled chicken has something in it that whenever I (or my wife, or mother in law) eat it causes a tremendous amount of stomach discomfort. Since I typically eat here immediately before going upstairs to watch a movie, you can imagine how awkward it is to have my stomach making LOUD noises during a show. Yikes. Yeah it tastes good, but be warned! Their other choices don't seem to have the same GI issues. I'll still come back because you can eat cheaply, on tasty food with minimal self hatred. I was trying to get a sample and they completely ignored me but another nice worker named Tina decided to help me and then I bought some delicious food from her. I tried the farmer's basket based on the recommendations from other yelpers. What a mall find!! Instead of the usual sammie and fries, I enjoyed REAL food. They had a great selection of options available. Each plate included a meat and two sides. Meats included char-grilled chicken, sauteed chicken, chicken fingers, fried fish, meatloaf, and a few others. Side choices were fruit, mashed pot, mac and cheese, fried okra, broccoli, carrots, new potatoes, etc. I had such a hard time deciding on a meat, that the man gave me half of both. The sauteed chicken was really tasty, it reminded me of something from a Chinese restaurant. The chicken fingers were excellent. The breading was wonderful. Mashed pot was good as well as the fried okra. All for 6 and change after tax. I will definitely be a returning customer. read more

I ordered salmon, rice & corn. When I opened my food, I can already smell the very strong fishy smell (I know it's salmon), but the smell is a different kind of smell. I still tried it and MAN!!! it has an aweful taste. A taste that you can tell that if you eat it, you'll have a stomachache later. So I told the lady giving the food about what I taste, she was very rude telling me "Oh noh, we make our food everyday and never offered to exchange it". It doesn't matter if they cooked everyday if the meat, fish or veggies are old, it will still smell or taste different. Totally not recommend this place. Waste of my $10!!! read more
