Came here for brunch on Saturday and the place was pretty busy, as expected. We waited about 45 minutes before getting seated. The atmosphere was lively. We ordered a few different dishes including steak and eggs, French toast, pancakes with bacon, and a burger with fries. The steak was cooked nicely, but it was a little tough. The French toast was thick and tasty, but it tasted more like bread pudding to me--it wasn't as light and fluffy as traditional French toast. The pancakes were simple but good. It's been a while since our last visit, and we were glad we came at the right time before the crowd started to build. The restaurant still has a great vibe, and the food continues to impress. We ordered the cinnamon pancakes, which were just okay--decent for the price but not particularly memorable. The pulled pork hash, however, was very flavorful, and the meat was tender, especially with a drizzle of queso. The server asked if we would like queso on it since she recommended it. The power diet omelette was also delicious, and the salsa on the side tasted fresh and homemade. That said, the service this time did not meet our expectations. During our previous two visits, the service was exceptional, so we were surprised by the difference. Our server, Julia, was not very attentive--we had to look for her or ask others just to get coffee refills. One thing that stood out was the additional charge for queso and salsa ($1.25 each), which wasn't mentioned when we ordered. It would have been nice to have that communicated upfront. Thought I would update my review from 2 years ago. Not much has changed except my diet. No more biscuits and gravy. I'm an egg white omelette guy now according to my doctor. That's really ok because they make a fantastic farmers omelette with egg whites. The regular portion is ample and is fantastic especially after I add a little chalupa to it. The coffee is hot and smooth and they don't mind pouring it into the perfectly sized cups. The service is phenomenal as the wait staff is happy and the food comes out fast from the kitchen. As I mentioned before, get here as close to opening at 8 AM as possible on weekends or you will have a wait. Laid back , relaxed atmosphere with great food . What more could you ask for? read more

It's basically like an entire stack fused into one giant pancake -- massive, fluffy, and packed with blueberries. We split it between two people and it was more than enough. I think we just came during a rush time (1pm on a Sunday), right after church. We were 21st on the waiting list and quoted a 45-minute wait. It ended up being about 45-50 minutes, so they were accurate. After 20 minutes, we were able to sit on the waiting benches instead of standing, which helped since it was cold outside at the end of October. The cold brew with hazelnut (as someone suggested) was perfectly sweet, no whipped topping for me, and it was the best! The potatoes were peppery and delicious. The Power Diet omelet was piping hot and really good; K liked it a lot. Unfortunately, the bacon was burnt on JO's BLT, and my side of bacon was also overdone. I sent mine back, but the server said the rest of the batch looked the same, so I cancelled it. That's the only reason this is a 4 star instead of a 5 star review. The grits were decent, even better mixed with ketchup, eggs, and sausage. JO's macaroni was creamy but could use a little of whatever seasoning is on those potatoes, it would really make it pop! Our server, Ye, was great, friendly and attentive. I don't normally like pancakes, but theirs are really good, and the plate was piping hot. K ordered the strawberry pancakes and loved them. Came here to brunch with a friend and wow it gets packed! I've seen this place pop up on instagram primarily for their large pancakes. There's plenty of parking in the complex and a good amount of seating on the inside. We got there closer to 11 and was seated quickly since there was an empty spot. We both started off with some lattes and decided to split one of their big pancakes, avocado toast and some breakfast potatoes. The blueberry pancake was super fluffy and loved the jam that it came with which seemed super fresh! The avocado toast was okay and nothing extraordinary and probably wouldn't get again. The breakfast potatoes were delicious and really loved the seasoning on there and how crispy they were. We came on a Thursday morning around 930. There were a good number of people in there, but we were seated and served right away. The host was very nice. We saw him bring a lady waiting for her friends a drink while she sat at the door. The one thing we didn't like as they have all those hard metal chairs that a lot of restaurants are getting lately. Thankfully, there was one with a bench open so we could sit on the padding because no one likes those cold hard chairs. The strawberry pancake that was supposed to be small and 7 inches was absolutely huge and needed a pizza box to go. You could tell that the strawberry pancake was made in-house. It had strawberry compote and strawberries inside the batter. The American breakfast was good. The eggs were nice and cheesy, the potatoes had good flavor, but they were definitely over-seasoned. It looked fairly busy so I wasn't surprised that my friend and I had a 20 min. wait, but then it turned into 30 minutes and we watched other pairs of two get seated before us. The Philly fries were a surprise due to its massive size. My family demolished it. It was seasoned well with the right balance of meat, onions and cheese, my daughter wanted to it all by herself lol. The Cowboy omelette was also massive. The eggs cooked well stuffed with all the fixings - they definitely didn't skimp on it. Topped with fresh guacamole and salsa it was a delight. The chicken and waffles was recommended by our server and my husband was amazed by the whole dish. The balance of sweet and salty and the textures were perfect. The crunch of the chicken didn't take away from the moist meat. He created his "perfect bite" with a piece of chicken and waffles and it was heavenly. I'd definitely get it for myself next time. The waffle had a slight bite but also moist. I've experienced dry waffles before and this proved otherwise. Overall the experience was great. The service was excellent especially during a rush hour. This place is a hidden gem! ( well, maybe not that hidden because it was packed!) Even with a wait, it was only about 15 -20 minutes before we were seated. These might be the best biscuits in Gwinnett county. Ultra buttery and fluffy with a crisp exterior. Their homemade strawberry jam is a perfect pair. Our server was very nice and our food came out FAST. Philly fries were rich and filling. The pancakes go up to the size of a literal pizza and can feed 4 people easily. The flavor and texture isn't compromised even at that large of a size. Their sausage gravy is worth the upcharge. We all enjoyed our meals and this will be a staple brunch spot for us.
