Little Beet is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant has a simple, but colorful storefront. On the inside "minimalism," is the first thing that comes up in my mind. The interior looks clean and simple. I ordered 2 bowl to go. The food is fresh, flavorful, light, but filling. I've been coming up to this lunch nugget for the past 6 months. I'm in Westport nearly every week and if it is around lunch time, Little Beet is a great place to come to. I'm surprised ratings are not higher. The food is superb. I alternate between the Beet Falafel bowl, Paleo bowl, and the Chef's Soup bowl which is butternut squash poured over roast chicken with rice and other healthy greens. The food is delicious. Often i pick up lunch to bring to one of my kids when i head south. David is the general manager and a very nice guy. He remembers my name, they bring the food to the table if you eat inside. During warmer weather, there is a nice patio with tables to sit at. Chavis is one of the regulars i run into behind the counter. I am always treated with a nice smile, great service and terrific food! I'm pretty picky and have written my fair share of negative reviews for places that deserve to be called out. True to the name when you eat your you get a little portion . In fact too little for what you pay for. Imagine paying adult prices for a kids portion if yoh catch my drift . They must be understaffed because the food took 30 mins to come out, and other people who came after my family and I were served first. The food was also cold . I hate having to write this because I think the food is great here, but the customer service and management is absolutely terrible. My office orders from here on Grubhub every few weeks - like 15 orders. Never had a problem. Today our order came and mine was missing. I called them, spoke to someone who said my order got cutoff when they printed the email, but they would remake and deliver it. Confirmed my address. Waited an hour and a half. Called back to check on the status, and got a different, very rude individual who said he was the manager and that they could not deliver my order and just hadn't made it. Nobody called me back to inform me of this. Apparently their boss said not to remake the order as nobody was allowed to leave the store to deliver it. It would have been one thing if they had just told me this upfront and refunded my order, as I would have still had some time left on my lunch break to pick up something elsewhere. But to wait another 1.5 hours only to find it's never coming, and now I don't have time to go anywhere for the rest of the day was supremely annoying and unprofessional. Guy was rude about it on top of all of this, as if it was my fault. No you forgot my order and then lied to me about being able to deliver it. Apparently this also happened to a co-worker some months back as well, so not an unfrequent occurrence. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! read more

As a vegan, with a non-vegan partner, we always appreciate finding restaurants where we can each get healthy and delicious options. I'm a big fan of Little Beet and the seasonal options they provide. We arrived pretty late in the day and my only complaint is that the veggies were cold. Otherwise, the food was delicious. I love the charred broccoli and the beet falafel. We will return. read more

We were in the area today and stopped in this cute place for a late lunch. They have a great selection of bowls such as poke bowls, rice bowls, etc. We ordered from their bowls on their menu but you can also build your own bowl and customize as you'd like. We had one Yuzu salmon poke bowl and a Chef's soup bowl. Both bowls were fresh and delicious! The poke bowl had salmon, greens, avocado, and delicious pickled ginger. The soup bowl had butternut squash soup poured over roasted chicken with basmati rice and greens. The place was bright and clean and the food was fresh and delicious! In a word: inconsistent. I have had delicious lunches here. But also recently has a meal where the greens/chickpeas were sparse - like one teaspoon full, the sweet potatoes were either burnt or near raw, quinoa overcooked like it had been sitting around for a while. Salmon OK but dry (I don't expect great salmon from a fast food place). I was told I would receive a refund but never did, even after contacting the manager. I still gave three stars because I have had mostly good experiences here. They need to step up their game. Lots of competition from Cava across the street. My teenage son, who introduced me to Little Beet now goes to Cava. read more

Ambiance was quiet enough that you can read and have a conversation, food was very good, tasty and healthy and service was very welcoming.

I was disappointed. My salmon bowl with sweet Potato, broccoli and quinoa came out in under 5 min. Im assuming the food is not fresh and microwaved? There's just something unsettling about salmon coming out in 3 min. The salmon was horribly dry too. Not to mention this was a $20 meal so I expected it to be made to order. I hate to say it but the chicken burrito bowl from Chipotle is fresher and cheaper. At least we can see them cooking the chicken. read more

Used to eat at Little Beet all the time in the city. Have tried the Westport location a few times because I want it to keep getting better. It has not. The soup bowl is terrible. The soup is thick and sits on the top with little flavor nowhere close to what I had in the city. I imagine this location will be closed soon enough. I wanted to love this place and I give props to the staff for being very accommodating. However, I was upset at the fact that for $16, my food looked like it had been sloppily thrown together.
