Love Ron's! My go to place for salads and sandwiches. So many delis don't do salads well. I'm never disappointed. My favorite is the Springdale salad. They offer hot food too. My delivery came in a timely manner and out of all 4 people that ordered, everyone rated their food a 10/10. The steak and cheese is great,the chicken is fresh, and the wraps are better than anywhere I've tried. All the food is fresh and everyone working went above and beyond to satisfy us. They threw in a free meatball with my order for me to try, and it was one of the best meatballs I've ever tried. This will definitely be one of my go to lunch spots. read more

I am not sure how it took us so long to find Rons! We tend to be deli junkies when it comes to lunch, and Rons is perfect. They have lots of premade sandwiches, my favorite being the Chicken Italian (chicken, mozz, proscuitto.. yum). They also offer whole wheat wedges - major fan of the healthy option! A legitimate hidden gem. Again...Lived in Stamford for 12 years....passed this place 100 times and never stopped until a few weeks back and have now been there 4 times. Always something tasty on the hot plate - I've had Sriracha chicken, Chicken Scarp, etc. Seems like they make efforts to make it healthy (can get it over rice, they sometimes serve it w/ steamed broccoli, not too greasy, etc.) Lots of places to get sandwiches in town but only a few really worth going to (Fratellis, Cafe oolala, Rinaldis, etc); add Ron's to that list. read more

The food was phenomenal- she has an extensive menu and my crew was thrilled to have some hot plate options as well as sandwiches and salads. Amazing! Can't say enough good things about this deli. I hosted a 60 person party at my house on Saturday and it was a great success because of Ron's Deli! Dealing with Nia was so easy and seamless. A good low key deli. We tried the chicken delight and the California chicken wrap. The chicken delight was so good! The California chicken wrap was just okay. It was pretty quiet before closing time on a Saturday afternoon. The sandwiches were very cleanly made. I would definitely go back and it's so close! The prices are pretty low too for sandwiches. This is a family owned and operated deli with truly good food and fresh ingredients. The food is always made fresh to order and they also have a hot bar with something different every day and an ever-changing list of specials. Salads, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, etc. They are always able to customize whatever weird thing you want to eat! The thing that really sets this place apart, however, are the people. They are incredibly kind and friendly. They know all their regulars (and they have many!). They are always busy, especially at lunchtime, considering they often get large delivery orders for businesses at that time, but they still make time to chat with the customers that come in. Staff was friendly, but service was pretty slow and unorganized. The wrap I got was alright, but could have been much better. The worst of it was the prosciutto I got, rather than prosciutto di Parma which was what I asked for, I got piccolo prosciutto was so nasty I couldn't even eat more than a few slices. The fact that boars head makes a product like it is shameful to real Italians like myself. Thankfully it's only $12.99lb so I only lost out on $6, Lesson learned. If you want a decent sandwich and your passing by its alright, but I would never go out of my way for this place and I would never order any kind of cold cut either. read more

This place is outstanding for what it is... We get lunch here a few times a week. Our office it right down the street in River Bend. wouldn't be able to make most weeks without Ron's. Great cold and hot wedges, and hot lunch. The staff knows how to make a wedge with just the right ratio of meat, veg, condiment, bread... sounds easy... its not. And the hot lunch... great stuff. I actually stole a recipe and now make it at home. The roasted chicken with sausage and pepper... saw it there once... ordered it the next time I saw it, then copied it at home... in fact, I made it tonite. Great eats. Ron's is the best worker's lunch spot in town. Gonna try breakfast some day (I live so close, hard to sneak out of the house past my wife without eating breakfast, but nee to try an egg sandwich at Ron's). read more

The food is always excellent and the portions are a generous size. All the hot entrees are homemade and absolutely delicious. The bread pudding and rice pudding are outstanding. Their secret olive oil dressing makes anything taste better which is very difficult since the food is already scrumptious. The owners, Mark and his wife are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.
