    the coffee was great

food was disappointing for price. service was great but the ambiance not my favorite. Its not my idea of a steakhouse (feels cramped) & I would not order the bone in or the rigatoni dish. Not on par with/price at all. the cannoli was a nice touch for our anniversary but unless u grab it with your hand to take a bite, your only scooping at the cream ends. The only thing I liked were the Brussel sprouts. Very young wait staff so a different experience but they did ok.

Let me start by saying I wanted to sample a few different items from the menu, and everything exceeded expectations. I began with the juicy crab cake, which was the perfect starter. For my entrée, I ordered an 8 oz filet, butterflied just as requested, along with a Caesar salad, potatoes, and lamb. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The ambiance was relaxing and classy, creating the perfect dining experience, and the customer service was truly top-notch from start to finish. I'll definitely be back, do yourself a favor and check them out soon!

Little Betty Steak Bar has a nice, simple dining experience with a clean and modern feel. The ambiance is very beautiful and creates a relaxed, upscale setting. The food is solid and well prepared, especially the steaks and sides. Service is attentive and the overall experience is smooth and comfortable.

Came here to celebrate my birthday and the service was outstanding. The dining area was beautifully lit and gave off a romantic vibe. Definitely 5 star dining. Staff is top notch and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our waiter gave us her recommendations and she hit the ball out the park with the Cacio Pepe gnudi. Those little gnocchi bites of goodness were delish! I had the prime Nay strip medium rare with the whipped potatoes and the rosemary in them were so so good. I have no notes. Everything was outstanding. Highly recommend.

The perfect date night spot. Moody ambiance at night, attentive service from knowledgeable waitstaff. The food is ALWAYS perfect. My go to is the 8 oz filet medium rare with the caesar salad & brussel sprouts (light oil/no glaze).

I went to Little Betty Steak Bar for my anniversary, and it was definitely a 10 out of 10. Make sure you're on time and follow the dress code, because the vibe is upscale and so worth it. I ordered the ribeye, and my husband got the A5 Wagyu--both were incredible. I also had a spicy margarita, and every single thing was good and matched the ambiance perfectly. Our wait staff was attentive the entire night. Truly an amazing experience!

I honestly don't understand how this place doesn't have at least 4.8 stars. I'm a huge foodie, have eaten all over, and this was hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. I'll admit - I was skeptical at first since I usually avoid places rated under 4.5 (I've been scarred lol) but I'm so glad I gave it a shot. Service was flawless from start to finish - attentive staff, fresh silverware with each course, and incredible attention to detail. Honestly, even if the food had been mediocre, I'd come back for the service and ambience alone. But the food? Phenomenal. My favorite was the burrata. My fiancé had been hyping it up since his business dinner here, and I thought, "How good could bread and cheese really be?" Answer: insanely good. 10/10. The Caesar with cured lemon was one of the best Caesars I've ever had. I just wish it had croutons! The ribeye spinalis al limone and bananas foster cheesecake were both out of this world. The only miss was the wagyu bistecca. The meat was tough and chewy, not what you'd expect with wagyu. The green garlic butter and fries that came with it were great though.

This place is super cute for a girls night dinner or romantic date night spot. The service was some of the best I've ever experienced. Excellent recommendations and suggestions. Most everything is shareable. We ordered so much food and nothing was disappointing! The cocktails are on the pricey side but that's to be expected. I wish the dirty martini had something a little extra to it but the caperberry was fantastic. I will absolutely be going back!

A gem of a prime steakhouse in Mountain Brook. This was recommended to us by friends of friends, and man did they hit the bullseye! A great salad to start, a PERFECT flavor packed ribeye steak and a side of delicious mushrooms. And a corkage fee to BYOB as well! This will be in our rotation for our return to Birmingham for sure, it should be in yours.

From start to finish this was an incredible experience. This was also our best meal in Birmingham over 4 nights. I can't recommend this place enough. This is a can't miss. That Ribeye!

Very chic, intimate restaurant. Kind of expensive. Our server was extremely helpful and nice. The food was a bit subpar to me for the price but overall it was a nice experience.

Miss Little Betty deserves a standing ovation!!! The server was so nice and informative. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night with my love. The food was so good and it gave us so much to talk about. My steak was too salty but that did not ruin anything.

Went to Little Betty this evening for a belated Mother's Day. We had not been to LB in Mt Brooke previously but it was much anticipated given how much we've heard that others like it... Drinks: - Tim Collins with well Gin (Plymouth) - La Sirena Di Sicilia - Sinaola Sunrise (mocktail) BEST! Second round of drinks we both ordered the Sinaola Sunrise spiked with Tequila, so good. I would go back for this drink. Food: - Rosemary Focaccia with Truffle Butter Good, as expected but I don't think I tasted any rosemary at all. The truffle butter was a nice addition and at $10 for the butter there was enough for the focaccia and filet. - Roasted Bone Marrow When we ordered, our server made a big deal about the little spoons that made the marrow so easy to scoop... well we did not receive spoons and it was a challenge to scoop out the marrow. And even after we mentioned it to her we did not receive spoons. - Tuna Cannoli The cannoli shells are so tough, I was expecting some easier to bite into. The tuna was only at the end and the avo crème is in the middle. I would have preferred a single bite with both the avocado and tuna - 8oz filet, medium Perfect. Seasoned + cooked perfectly - Veal Chop Parm Delicious. Easily split with 2 people; the Sunday Sauce is delicious and rich. The side arugula was a refreshing to cut the richness - Creamed Corn "special" side Definitely more casserole than creamed corn but sweet and delicious - Cacio de Pepe side I was caught off guard without having the large cracked pepper offset the pasta. The pepper seemed to be fine white pepper. Disappointing. Definitely some ups and downs here. Overall the drinks and food experience was positive. The biggest let-down was our server. She was over-attentive in the worse ways. She read at least 50% of the menu to us giving us her personal opinions of each dish; she explained how shareable sides worked and what "family style" meant; she explained how Italian menus are ordered (my husband and child are Italian); she insisted that we order the full order at one time and then commented on how good everything smelled when it came out; she was practically sitting on my husband's lap as he was looking over the cocktail menu.. the list goes on. I appreciate that she was present, but we had a hard time enjoying each other's company with her practically camping out at our table. Something also seemed off with the setup - the table next to us ended up eating their ceasar salad directly out of the serving bowl because they weren't brought individual plates; the small spoons for the bone marrow; and several other little touches that were missed made it feel like someone missed the day.

I was finally able to check out wooden city and enjoyed it so much that I went back a couple weeks…read morelater for a friend's birthday! I really like the ambience inside. It gives a great vibe for either a work dinner, a date night, owl or dinner with friends! It's fun and swanky but not over the top. They have a really attractive bar and they have a pizza kitchen that is open, which is always a cool touch. I try to handful of appetizers and I've got to recommend both the jerk cauliflower as well as the brussels sprouts and the Caesar salad was delicious as well. Also, the blistered Hungarian peppers are a must order if you'd like sausage! The meal that I had both times because it was that good was the spicy lamb rigatoni. I might just go back next week and get it again. I like that they have a wide variety of options whether you're looking for a gluten-free meal or something carb heavy like pizza or pasta, but they also have options to fit a variety of budgets from a casual dinner and a burger to more expensive entrées. The servers are very kind and are definitely educated in their wine and food offerings and very hospitable. Since this is located on Morris, a lot of people think parking is difficult down there, but apparently there is a parking lot in the back where you're able to get your ticket validated. I know some of my friends wish they would have known this before. I'll definitely be back and recommend this spot to others wanting a good meal!

Ordered a takeout pizza because of the 4.8 stars. I'm from Omaha and when I went inside to pick up…read morethe pizza, it was obvious that this is one of the main hipster spots in Birmingham. The pizza was good, but my girlfriend ordered mushroom and pepperoni and we got sausage and mushrooms . The toppings and sauce were good, but the best part was the chewy crust that was slightly charcoaled. I had to use the City parking lot in the back as street parking was full. This area looks to be comparable to Omaha's Old Market, but we didn't have any time to explore. Hipsters of the World Unite!
