We made a quick stop into this small and its almost time for lunch. We got the Miso Ramen, Salmon Teritaki, Angry Dragon, Honey walmut chicken. All are good and meet our expectation. The place has generous space and looks clean. Staffs are nice too and very helpful with our questions. The only thing that I think that needs to improve is the straws that came in with the drink are not individually wrapped. Still, you must try this place. read more

Stopped by Little Buddha at the Palisades Mall -- food was fine, pretty much what you'd expect from a generic Asian fusion spot. We had ramen, sushi, tempura, and one of the usual chicken dishes -- all decent, nothing amazing. The space is huge and nicely decorated, and the staff were really attentive, which honestly made the experience better. Tried Little Buddha this past wknd. We only had the restaurant food NOT hibachi. Pros, they seated us right away, food was served quickly and the staff was very attentive. Large with ample seating. Nice decor Cons, tasted like regular chinese food which we don't eat often. Food had crazy coloring causing suspicion in my end. Ordered the sashimi combo and the fish was horrible quality. It tasted fishy and was full of tendons. I am not one to send food back ever, but I had to have them rectify this as it was half the fish in my meal that was not suitable quality. Overall, good experience. The food was definitely above average. The steak was done to perfection and the chicken was very good too. The fried rice was also above average. The lo mein had a different taste than the average lo mein, but was good. Prices are on the higher side, however, the portions are very big. I would recommend splitting a meal between two people, then it is more reasonable. Also, they do not offer free refills on sodas so be prepared for that. Definitely was not a break-the-bank night though. Service was good. The hibachi people were fantastic, but the waitresses themselves had trouble understanding orders and got a little bit frustrated. We had the Crispy Duck Roll and Twin Tartar to start - both excellent. For our entrees, we had the Shrimp and Scallop Hibachi combination and a couple of special rolls and a couple of regular rolls. Been here few times now. Mostly have done the hibachi but this time decided to try out the seafood broil. Overall it's pretty good/average. Not something I would crave to come back or anything like that, but it's an option because the mall doesn't have any seafood option since Joe's Crab Shack shut down. We had 2lbs of snow crab legs and order of clams and another order of fried seafood combo. You have to pick a sauce and we did the garlic butter. They still asked how spicy so told them not spicy. When the food came out we can see there was spice which I wasn't expecting for garlic butter blend but it was ok. The crab legs were a little on the skinny side but meat was good. Clams were so tiny but still tasted good. The fried seafood was super salty with barely any meat so I would not order it again. FYI, the hibachi is just any ordinary hibachi with bare minimal showmanship. The usual volcano, throwing of food in mouth, and some slaps of the cooking utensils. Whole process is very quick and if you just want to eat and skip all that, this is the place to go. Overall solid 3 star. If they improve some stuff here and there, I would give it 4. read more

We went this past weekend and I ordered the Mongolian beef and I think the picture says it all. There's at least 3 onions in here and probably 6 small pieces of beef. Very entertaining! One of our gripes with Hibachi, is things that used to be included are now an upcharge, want rice and lo mein? $3 extra. They do not hide it, but I remember when salad, soup, rice, veggies, lo mein, entrée and dessert were included for 1 price. Prices go up over time, we get it, but let them go up, dont make things an upcharge. We have done most of their Hibachi options, and they are all pretty good, never had any issue with them. Filet tastes better than the steak, but it is much cheaper lol! They cook the meat to your liking, and they always do a great job with it. YUM YUM sauce is life!! It is like Chick-Fil-A sauce. You do not know what it is, but it is such a great enhancement to your meal, that you don't care! I always ask for both sides to be YY sauce, and then at the end, I ask them to pour a ladle full all over. Make sure that you tip the chef!!!! All in all, a fun experience. First time coming here, never coming back again. To start off we got hibachi table, and assumed we would get simple things that come along with hibachi, such as fried rice and such. Fried rice is an extra charge, which i've never been charged before today. I ordered cali roll and pointed at something that wasn't that but never got corrected or asked if thats what i really wanted. Then on top of that at the end when we got the bill the bill had an added gratuity of 15%, which is fine if we has good service. Got ignored most of the time and didn't get the bill until after everyone already paid, and mind you we already finished eating. PROS: This place is one of the greatest hibachi locations I've been to. The waitress Tracy was very helpful and punctual with the orders. The chef was very fun and talented as well. Food tasted great, like always, and everything was priced reasonably. The variety on the menu was also very strong. CONS: Took a while for the chef to come by and they only have 1 person bathrooms which can cause a back up. Ordered hibachi for 4 and barely got any rice or noodles because THEY messed up 2 people at our table ..then when I said something about it he said that everyone got the same and if I wanted extra we had to pay... meanwhile at the other tables they had heaping mounds of both so he finally reimbursed me $7 for two orders of fried rice. The clear soup was very good and aromatic - it was chicken broth with fried shallots and sliced fresh mushrooms. My entree was the naruto 1 roll which was a cucumber roll with no rice and spicy tuna and avocado. It was so delicious and lowcarb! Perfect for people on keto (like me). My cousin got the chicken pad thai which was a little sweet, charred and tasty. It came with a side of peanuts. The service was great- very attentive, friendly and caring.
