Tried Little Buddha this past wknd. We only had the restaurant food NOT hibachi. Pros, they seated us right away, food was served quickly and the staff was very attentive. Large with ample seating. Nice decor Cons, tasted like regular chinese food which we don't eat often. Food had crazy coloring causing suspicion in my end. Although it was not busy, we felt rushed as if they were anxious to clean off our plates and table. Not my kind of place truthfully and would not return.

Rainbow roll, scorpion roll and hot and sour soup! So delicious!

Such a nice atmosphere, and the food is so delicious! What a gem! Highly recommend great place for family, date night or business lunch!

The cook tossing a piece of food into the moth. Lots of fun. While the food was cooking.

We went to celebrate my daughter bday and she loved it. They made her feel so happy to be there. The food was delicious they even surprised her with ice cream candle cake, that she loved. It was a bit late so we got a table once we walked in that was a big plus cause we were all starving. The place is well decorated, with a big Buddha to represent.

Was shopping at the Palisades Center and stopped in Little Buddha and had a good lunch. Very broad menu and efficient, friendly service. We had the Crispy Duck Roll and Twin Tartar to start - both excellent. For our entrees, we had the Shrimp and Scallop Hibachi combination and a couple of special rolls and a couple of regular rolls. All were solid. Overall a great place for a sit down meal while at the Palisades Center.

Been here few times now. Mostly have done the hibachi but this time decided to try out the seafood broil. Overall it's pretty good/average. Not something I would crave to come back or anything like that, but it's an option because the mall doesn't have any seafood option since Joe's Crab Shack shut down. We had 2lbs of snow crab legs and order of clams and another order of fried seafood combo. You have to pick a sauce and we did the garlic butter. They still asked how spicy so told them not spicy. When the food came out we can see there was spice which I wasn't expecting for garlic butter blend but it was ok. The crab legs were a little on the skinny side but meat was good. Clams were so tiny but still tasted good. The fried seafood was super salty with barely any meat so I would not order it again. FYI, the hibachi is just any ordinary hibachi with bare minimal showmanship. The usual volcano, throwing of food in mouth, and some slaps of the cooking utensils. Whole process is very quick and if you just want to eat and skip all that, this is the place to go. Overall solid 3 star. If they improve some stuff here and there, I would give it 4.

Not too bad. I've had better, I've had worse. This was just ok. The rest of the family had hibachi and seemed to enjoy it. Service was quick and the chef who did the hibachi put on a great show that was engaging for the kids

A very spacious and inviting atmosphere. The menu is large, almost too large. The hibachi chef was a master and did a great show for my grandsons. Food was delicious but the fried rice is an extra. They do offer a lunch special menu I am going to try.

And this is with the pile of onions back in the bowl after I ate the 5 pieces of beef.

This was our second time here...the first was last mother's day and it was an okay experience. The service is just okay but food was fine. We went this past weekend and I ordered the Mongolian beef and I think the picture says it all. There's at least 3 onions in here and probably 6 small pieces of beef. It was inedible and the waitress could obviously see that and said nothing. With tons of restaurants in that shopping center. We won't be back.

If your in the palisades mall, this is a great place to try for lunch . Great and fresh sushi , you can see the chef making the sushi if your sitting in the back . We had the general Taos chicken , sesame chicken ,sushi and some cocktails . There is usually no wait for a regular table . The habachi tables are usually more busy If you want decent food at a decent price and don't want fast food this is a great option . Staff is friendly and approachable Kid friendly

We were sat near a table of Moms who were accompanied by almost a dozen elementary school aged children. Their children were completely out of control... running sprints back and forth in the room, running laps around the tables bumping into other customers chairs, wrestling and laying on the floor and that goes without mentioning the noise. This party was finished eating before we were even sat at our table but the Moms continued to sit and drink for the duration of our entire meal while their children ran wild. At this point the dining room was turned playground and other patrons requested to not be sat for Hibachi. Others had to get up from the room and take a break from the chaos. The reason for this review which has very little to do with the actual restaurant, yet it does is.... This situation definitely danced the line below calling the police for a disorderly group but above the line of the management should've stepped in to inform these mothers they are causing a major disturbance to the entire restaurant, their meal is over and it's time for them to leave.

We ordered the sushi and sashimi combo for two along with the pepper tuna, and everything that came out looked beautiful and tasted even better. The fish was incredibly fresh, with clean, delicate flavors that really stood out. The presentation was also a nice touch, especially the decorative details that made the whole plate feel special. The pepper tuna was a highlight--perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of spice, and sliced thick enough to really enjoy the texture. On top of that, the restaurant itself was spotless and had a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Definitely a place we'd come back to when we're craving fresh, high-quality sushi with great service.

We had tableside hibachi when my toddler turned 2, and recently took my nephew here as he's never had it. You pick your choice of protein(s), and noodles, fried rice, and veggies are included, along with a small appetizer and broth soup and salad. The chef then puts on an interactive show, involving some pyrotechnics (who doesn't love fire!) and other razzmatazz. The adults even get saki shots! Now the food: the noodles and rice are great, but to be honest the chicken and steak are somewhat bland and would taste better if they were pre-marinated rather than just cooked in the sauce. So I'm here for the fun not the food. But it's plentiful and you definitely won't go home hungry. The sushi is quite good and fresh. I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality when I ate here 3-4 years ago after returning for the first time in over a decade, as once upon a long long time, the sushi was pretty subpar. But that's clearly changed! This is one of my local go-to's now for sushi. Tempura ice cream is a good way to finish the meal!

We went for the signature option which includes a limited amount of Japanese A5 Wagyu ribeye (8oz per person), so it's not really all you can eat. The signature set also allows you to get everything from the lower tiers, which includes lobster tail (1 per person), snow crab clusters (1 per person), and U.S. Wagyu options (unlimited for Signature). All these limits make it seems like it's not really all you can eat lol. There are plenty of options that are unlimited though, and the food was delicious. The restaurant is also very nice, but the service was lacking. I ordered the Ikura (salmon roe) nigiri, and the waiter told me that Ikura is not normal salmon. I asked him to elaborate and he said that they are salmon seeds, not actual salmon. Seeds made me think this was some plant based/vegan sushi, but then he said "the seeds baby salmon come from". I laughed and asked if he meant that salmon roe are salmon eggs and he said yes. They also run a birthday promotion, where you can get $39.50 off of your bill, as long as you come in 7 days before or after your birthday, which we clarified with the hostess. My birthday was on 5/1. We were dining on 5/8. Apparently 5/8 is not 7 days after 5/1. I'd have given them a higher rating, but them not honoring their birthday promotion was annoying. The Japanese Wagyu was also not as good quality as other places I've been to, but that's likely because this is an AYCE place and the other places were not.

I brought my wife here for our post-birth sushi date after hyping it up to her for months, and it did not disappoint. It's always great to be warmly greeted when you walk in and invited to grab a seat. Our server took our orders and gave us some excellent recommendations. My personal favorite is the Angry Dragon Roll, but we also had the Honey Roll, and the sleeper hit of the day: the Jersey Devil. That last one wasn't our first choice, but the server suggested it--and we're so glad we listened. We started with crispy noodles served with duck sauce and hot mustard while we waited. We also ordered two sodas to accompany the meal. When the sushi arrived, it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the first bite, the Angry Dragon was packed with flavor. The shrimp tempura and fresh mango combo is a win every time. The Honey Roll was just as fresh, with beautifully prepared shrimp. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was plated immaculately. But the real surprise was the Jersey Devil. It was deep-fried, still warm, but somehow not mushy at all. The inside stayed intact, giving each bite a perfect texture. By the end of the meal, we were stuffed and had no room left for dessert. Bonus: Don't forget the daily buy 2, get 1 free deal on specialty rolls--makes for an affordable, high-quality date. 5/5 stars--definitely coming back for more.
