We also never skip the Caesar salad, which is generously sized and topped with a mountain of freshly shredded Parmesan. My only complaint has nothing to do with the food. Serving everything on paper plates with plastic forks feels completely out of step with the restaurant's otherwise great atmosphere. Investing in real plates, flatware, and maybe an extra dishwasher would elevate an already fantastic dining experience.

The crust was especially good: great flavor with that perfect balance of crispness and chew. The staff was friendly, attentive, and responsive throughout the visit, which made the experience even better. It's been a while, but Giovanni's reminded me why it has such a strong reputation.
