Back at slice parlor for a pint and a snack with my mama in between tennis matches. LOVE the new addition of the fried apps on the menu- zucchini fries were delicious

What can I say.... I'm addicted to Slice Parlor! I've been coming here consistently for years, back to the original location on Central. The crust is thin and crispy, never drenched in oil. I love the size of the slices, it's perfect single size to satiate even the hungriest appetite! This place is usually busy, no surprise! The ambiance is laid back, "pizza and beer" vibes, which always hits the spot. They also have vibrant, fresh salad options, their homemade dressings are delicious! Come grab a slice and a cold one, if you're ever struggling on a place to eat... this is my go to 90% of the time, ask my friends!

First time ever visiting this joint. This place is New York style pizza type place they have it indoor season to outdoor seating and roll up doors to get the air flowing through the place if need be. Their food is delicious. We got the meat lovers pizza the pizza I think it's called came out perfectly cooked. Even the leftovers were delicious. We got the 24 inch which fed three of us Then in there and leftovers. The service is good. The waitress was on spot. Make sure we had everything major glasses were full, always checking on us. The ambience in the place was good low chatter and low music throughout the place where you could still talk and have a good conversation without half the talk up over music or the loud people. All in all this great place I definitely go back.

During a visit to the marble taproom in the Heights, we decided to order a pizza from slice parlor while we enjoyed our drinks. The only downside was I believe because of the time of day and they were slow, the pizza was probably actually ready before the online order said it was. So it was already starting to get a little cold when we started to eat it. But other than that the pizza was huge even the smallest size is quite large. I actually ordered an 18 inch New York style with pineapple, and it was more than plenty for two people. The slices are very thin, so it makes up for the larger size. If you want to dine in, there are different beers and siders on tap and in the warmer months, the patio is very enjoyable. It is definitely a convenient option if you're enjoying a beer at marble next door.

Nice people, nice place, mediocre overpriced pizza. I won't advise you not to go but I won't be going back.

My wife and I always split things the same way: she gets a slice of The Angry, and I go with The Pepp. The combination of spicy pepperoni and hot honey is absolutely incredible! It's so good you might even catch me licking the plate. Do yourself a favor and pair your pizza with the Lambrusco. The sparkling red wine complements the spice of the pepperoni perfectly. We also never skip the Caesar salad, which is generously sized and topped with a mountain of freshly shredded Parmesan. My only complaint has nothing to do with the food. Serving everything on paper plates with plastic forks feels completely out of step with the restaurant's otherwise great atmosphere. Investing in real plates, flatware, and maybe an extra dishwasher would elevate an already fantastic dining experience.

I asked the cashier if they offer calzones, he replied, "No, just pizza." Very disappointing. I was expecting a lot more and a true Italian pizzaria. As for the pizza, it was decent hut not great. Second, zero ambiance. Tables and chairs thrown together, and that's it. The music was too loud to where we couldn't hear each other. They only have two bathrooms which seemed to be occupied most of the time. Way too many customers to only have two bathrooms. The only saving grace was a very cute female server. Prices were reasonable. Place had too many employees, but whatever. No, I won't be returning.

Where can I go to get pineapple on a pizza slice? A FB friend recommended this joint. Us New Yorkers refer to these places as joints. I pulled up to an empty parking lot and empty joint. Hmmm. Does anyone come here? I took a chance. After I ordered my slice with pineapple and the highly recommended Canadian bacon on it, the place started to fill up. I mean from the parking lot to the counter, folks of all ages & cultures were lined up to place their orders. Def reminded me of NYC where all kinds of folks lived and ate together. On the walls were framed pictures and memorabilia of MY old New York: the Statue of Liberty, the NY subway system and a few Broadway show programs. Did I like my pineapple slice? Yes I did. Did I feel guilty about offending my Italian family of Sicilians and Calabrese back in Little Italy in lower Manhattan? Not at all. But I was warned! I still love my cheese and/or pepperoni and will go back to order that.

There are plenty of local beers on the menu, and our friendly server gave us generous samples when we asked about various brews. The decor was as you might expect given the name--a sprinkling of black and purple accents in a high-ceilinged room. There's plenty of room for large parties, as well as two-seat high-top tables and stools at the bar. Pizzas are available in 8"and 14"; I always appreciate seeing an option that's suitable for just one person. We were one of just a few parties and were served quickly. Pizza was hot and tasty; the sausage pizza had a decent amount of topping. The salad was heavy on croutons, but those are easy to push aside... underneath was a satisfying amount of cubed deli-style ham, grated cheese, and bacon on a pile of lettuce. Good stuff!
