We've been driving by this place many times and wanted to give it a try. Located right off Golf Course in a mini shopping center. Parking can be a little scarce if the lot is full, but we were able to get a spot in front. The restaurant has a lot of open space, nice bright red table cloths and plenty of room for large groups. We were greeting by a friendly lady who gave us ample time to make a decision on what pizza we were going to try for the first time. We decided on the Chicken Alfredo deep dish pizza. She told us to wait about 10-15 minutes. Our pizza was ready to eat in that time frame. It was just enough for us both. We enjoyed it and we're happy to say, we'll be back soon! Thank you.

My Chicagoan boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place for months now and we finally did. However, we went on a day when they were incredibly short-staffed and customers were irritated with how long their orders took. But the pizza was worth the wait as it's as close to authentic Chicago deep dish pizza as you'll get in New Mexico. Also, it's veteran-owned and they provide job opportunities for the disabled. I'm happy to support a business with such values. Just know your pizza may take awhile and the projected order time online might be inaccurate but it will be delicious.

This is long gone, but was the only "real Chicago pizza within driving distance.

Being a native Chicageaux-an, I haven't had a real stuffed pizza in NM since Chicago Pizza in Santa Fe closed up 10 years ago, and UNO Pizzaria closed up in Las Cruces. I resigned myself to having to go out-of-state for a decent one. I can honestly say I found my new pizza parlor and the Classic True Chicago is the family's new, go-to. The kids liked the crust on the pepperoni pan pizza as well, but their palates are not as refined as the adults! Service was perfect; pizza came right out and into our hands. Being a veteran as well, the ambiance was right up my alley too. I forgot to ask if they offered a military discount, but I did order online and that wasn't an option.

Ordered 3 Italian beef sandwiches and a pizza to go. Made the mistake of not looking at the order before we left the restaurant. Not only were all three sandwiches burnt to a crisp but there was also hair in pizza. Sucks that they don't care to take pride in their food and were ok with serving terrible food.

Good deep dish. I would have liked more spice, will try their green chile next time. I DoorDashed from a good distance away and it was delivered timely and the food was still warm.

If you're looking for a great date-night pizza spot, this is one of our favorites. We've been here…read moremultiple times, and it's consistently excellent. My wife and I always split things the same way: she gets a slice of The Angry, and I go with The Pepp. The combination of spicy pepperoni and hot honey is absolutely incredible! It's so good you might even catch me licking the plate. Do yourself a favor and pair your pizza with the Lambrusco. The sparkling red wine complements the spice of the pepperoni perfectly. We also never skip the Caesar salad, which is generously sized and topped with a mountain of freshly shredded Parmesan. My only complaint has nothing to do with the food. Serving everything on paper plates with plastic forks feels completely out of step with the restaurant's otherwise great atmosphere. Investing in real plates, flatware, and maybe an extra dishwasher would elevate an already fantastic dining experience.

First time here. Not my favorite pizzeria…read more First, their menu was very limited. Pizza, pizza, and pizza. Did I mention pizza? I asked the cashier if they offer calzones, he replied, "No, just pizza." Very disappointing. I was expecting a lot more and a true Italian pizzaria. As for the pizza, it was decent hut not great. Second, zero ambiance. Tables and chairs thrown together, and that's it. The music was too loud to where we couldn't hear each other. They only have two bathrooms which seemed to be occupied most of the time. Way too many customers to only have two bathrooms. The only saving grace was a very cute female server. Prices were reasonable. Place had too many employees, but whatever. No, I won't be returning.

There are plenty of local beers on the menu, and our friendly server gave us generous samples when we asked about various brews. The decor was as you might expect given the name--a sprinkling of black and purple accents in a high-ceilinged room. There's plenty of room for large parties, as well as two-seat high-top tables and stools at the bar. Pizzas are available in 8"and 14"; I always appreciate seeing an option that's suitable for just one person. We were one of just a few parties and were served quickly. Pizza was hot and tasty; the sausage pizza had a decent amount of topping. The salad was heavy on croutons, but those are easy to push aside... underneath was a satisfying amount of cubed deli-style ham, grated cheese, and bacon on a pile of lettuce. Good stuff!

When we got in, the live band was setting up and the establishment was busy! We shared cheese bread and a pepperoni pizza with black olives. We did order two side caesars, but they forgot them until we left and we got them to go. Our server was friendly and the inside was really cool! Seemed like a good place for families and friends to hangout. I'd recommend if you're in the area!
