With so little cheese and toppings to hold the heat, by the time I got the pie home (5 min drive) it was already cooled off and the pie needed re-heating. What really stood out was that a toddler at our table was asked to turn down their tablet. Under normal circumstances that might be understandable, but this was taking place in a restaurant hosting karaoke with loud music and the usual busy restaurant noise. It felt unnecessary and inconsistent given the environment. As long-time customers, we left feeling unwelcome and overlooked. We understand that restaurants have busy nights, but basic customer service, attentiveness, and common sense should still be expected. Sadly, this experience has caused us to reconsider whether we'll be returning in the future. Seemed like Karen behavior coming from the manager looking like a chola. Very disappointed.
