These people do a great job for having a shop across the street from a community college and only having one oven.

My husband drove up to the window and waited. Not long but he wasn't sure if there was a ringer or not. At any rate, he then knocked on the window. When she came to the window he proceeded to tell her he didn't know if she knew he was there and that was why he knocked. She rudely told him she was on the phone. Then took his card for payment, slammed the window shut and then opened the window again, handed him the pizza and bread twist then slammed the window shut . Not a thank you, have a nice day, not a smile, just rude. Im stating this because this has happened on more than 1 occasion. Maybe these employees are over worked, working short staffed or something! Anyway, we do have options when it comes to pizza. I do my best to be polite when dealing with public. It would be nice if this employee was made aware of her poor customer service. No one wants to deal with a rude employee that makes you feel that you have inconvenienced them. Not sure if i will return. I will think about this.

They got it right the second time though so 2 stars.

A locally-owned gem with Southern hospitality and delicious Italian food…read more Having been a fan of this restaurant a few years back, I was excited to try it again after recently moving back to the area. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to visit on a Sunday (they're closed!), I finally made it on a Tuesday evening. I was promptly greeted and seated by the friendly host right as they opened at 5 p.m. Our waitress was welcoming and took our appetizer order right after our drinks. We were debating between the mozzarella sticks and calamari, and she recommended the trio, which included both, plus fried zucchini - a great suggestion! Soon after our appetizer arrived, the owner and chef came to our table to introduce himself and check on our food. It was a nice, personal touch that you don't see very often. While the service was a little on the slower side, it was clear that the small but mighty staff was attentive and making their rounds to all the tables. For our main course, we ordered the chicken parmesan, which was a generous portion, easily shareable for two, and came with a side salad. It was yummy. This restaurant has a certain charm with its combination of Southern hospitality and Italian cuisine. I would recommend it based on my experience. They also have some weekly specials (unsure for how long) : -Wednesday Family Night: Large 3-topping pizza for $11.99 -Thursday Date Night: The $5 corkage fee for BYOB is waived, and they offer a "share a bowl" upgrade for $5.99 (usually $9.99), which gives you two servings of protein instead of one. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I'm happy to recommend.

I passed by this place twice this week while doing Cruising The Coast: I thought to myself, look that up on Yelp and see what's up. So I did just that and found 5 star reviews. That was enough to have me sold but when I read it was locally owned by a US Military Veteran, well that was enough for me. We came in and were greeted by the friendly owner. We had a seat and you have to go to the bar to look at a menu. I perused the pizzas since that is what was highly recommended on Yelp. Went with the Supreme and a couple Cokes for my dad and me. The pizza arrived as ordered, half without peppers and onions and we dug in. What a delicious pie. Crispy crust, gooey cheese and flavorful toppings and a crunchy crust: it checks all the boxes for a great pizza. My nephew had the alligator sausage pizza and that too was delicious. While the place doesn't look like much from the road, that's just how I like it. Unassuming with delicious food. The place was clean, the music was great, the television history shows were great (Body by Fisher video was outstanding). The bathrooms were clean and well lit and overall the place was great. We will definitely hit this place again when we are back for CTC. It's on the must dine list for sure.

We tried a Seafood combo #1, which was... surprising. It was a white wine sauce with clams, mussels, and shrimp over angel hair pasta. The surprising part was that it used what was really more of a broth than a sauce. The dish was more like a noodle soup, which was unexpected. The flavor was good though! I wouldn't order it again since I don't usually order pasta expecting a soup, but it wasn't bad! We also got the linguini carbonera. It used ham though; usually, I'd prefer pancetta, but thought I could give it a try anyway. This dish wasn't bad, but it was also a bit disappointing. Using ham for the dish did it the most disservice. Ham doesn't have enough fat content to add flavor to the dish. They also did not use enough aged cheese, instead, they used heavy cream to compensate for it. A lot of restaurants do this to cut down on costs, but it truly affects the quality of the dish. Without enough cheese, the flavor was not deep enough. However, the cream added plenty of richness. We tried the Supreme Pizza. It was good! The crust was perfect, and it was loaded with toppings and mozzerella cheese. A no frills standard pizza!
