It was also pretty busy when we went on a Sunday afternoon which is good! Our group had the Western burgers which were huge! The portions were big and the fries were good. We also had the fried mushrooms which were perfect, I'm a sucker for homemade ranch. I had the Patty Melt which was also a big portion and tasted great, just needed some mustard and salt. There was a slight delay in getting our food, but the waitress was very friendly and nice about it. Overall this is a good local bar to check out for a burger and fries, a drink, or to catch the fights. Will come back.

That avocado club with the onions and the pueblo chillies is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Even the potato fries were crunchy and soft at the same time. Everything had a homemade feel to it, which made us love the food more. All in all, come here for the food, if the ambiance isn't really your thing. It is really good! I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.
