Pizza is edible, solid, but expensive. The crust is the best part of Papa's pizza. Expensive food makes it difficult to tip proper, however. Service is a bit overrated, and not as presentable as it should. Place could advertise its deals a bit more than it does. read more

We stumbled into Papa's starving and we were greeted with our friendly server Ronald! He was fantastic from the start. Very attentive, very friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed. The pizzas were yummy and we were happy to have had such a great experience as first timers to Papas! Ordered two Calzone's both of them had very little ingredients inside. I added an additional ingredient in my Southwest Calzone for $1.89. It did make it into the Calzone. Prices shown on the menu photos are wrong. All the menu items have gone up by 20% or more. Our veg tables were raw ie oninons, green pepper and only a few pieces of green Chile pepper. We tried Papas North soon after it opened late fall of 2023. I think I ordered the White Rabbit and really enjoyed it, though I noted I would remove onions next time because they were raw and crunchy. Upon second try, we ate a sausage and green chili pizza on premises yesterday and it was downright delicious: great crust, great cheese, great flavor, baked just right with plentiful toppings. Order the gluten free crust! I have eaten at Papas before and had their regular Wheat crust. It's a good pizza! But I recently have been diagnosed with Gluten sensitivity. So I didn't know they had a gluten free Pizza option. Wow! The gluten free Pizza is the best that I have had any where! It's not that super thin, saggy, barely there crust either. Even though located in an old fashioned town from yesteryear, the young waitress fit in. She was warm, attentive and friendly. The large menu was filled with Italian specialties. My companions warned me that the salad was very large and loaded with greens, tomatoes, olives, shredded mozzarella. They were right. A variety of dressings were offered in small cups on the side. We enjoyed balsamic, Italian, and ranch. We also enjoyed the thick crust carnivore everything pizza. Soft dough loaded with onions, peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, ham and cheese. Will I return? Stopped off at Papa's on our way home. The place was pretty dead on a Wednesday at lunch, but we were greeted by two great servers. We ordered pretzel bites to start and we both ordered calzones. The bites were versions of their dough, with a crispy outside, brown and salted and served with nacho cheese - very good! The calzone was packed with filling and was delish. I had pepperoni and sausage and it was absolutely pouring out. Very little cheese though - which was OK, but I might ask for less filling and more cheese next time. Any rate, the lunch was pleasant. Growing up in Fremont County, I always enjoy seeing new businesses come to town! I know Papa's has been open for a while but last night was my first time eating there. Papa's is on the corner of Santa Fe and Main street. Inside, there are different sized tables, a small bar and an upstairs for excess guests. We had a group of 6 so we pushed some tables together to make it work. My family and I ordered the Boba Feta for an appetizer which is pull apart bread stuffed with mozzarella, feta and spinach. The bread was really tasty and I enjoyed the different flavors. The bread is also served with a size of marinara. For dinner, we ordered two pizzas, a pepperoni and a Margherita. Both pizza's tasted very fresh and delicious! I do enjoy having a different pizza option in the area. The service wasn't bad - kind of slow getting our appetizer which we were surprised because we were one of two tables at 5:00pm. The waitresses did keep continuing to fill our drinks as needed. Around 5:45-6pm, Papa's started to get very busy on a Saturday night. I think they handled the crowds well, however, it seemed as there were only 3 staff members working. It did take quite a while to get our check but was quick to pay after we had the ticket. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying other items. read more
