A single door secured by a magnetic catch, there is only one shelf inside and it's quite full. Mostly hardcovers today and nothing that caught my fancy. I did add two of the paperbacks from my home as I'm working towards reducing my library there. This is charter number 8733 (a low number!) and the steward is Christy Morton. The online caption reads, "With a grant from Andrew Carnegie, local residents worked to get a library built in Cleburne. The 1905 historic building housed the public library until 1978 when the city expanded and built a new library on West Henderson Street. The Layland Museum, which was located upstairs, was expanded to the lower floor and other collections began to be added. Mostly paperbacks that looked like fiction with a non-fiction or two. Nothing that particularly caught my eye. I added four from the box of books I've been carting around and I'm happy to say that I've now finished scattering mine across LFLs on this trip. It felt like I went from Santa Fe to Santa Ana. Speaking of Santas, it's known as the Christmas Capital, but in the off-season, the only thing Christmas-like was me thinking, "Jesus Christ, these long stretches of sidewalk feel empty" Granted, it was the midday lull, and many of the shops and restaurants seemed spread out or closed as early as 5:00 PM. It's a nice, free place for a slow-paced stroll, but a bit underwhelming if you are looking for a vibrant atmosphere.

Downtown Grapevine is one of my favorite areas to visit, there are numerous local shops, a farmers…read moremarket, art gallery, museum(s), restaurants, a book store, trinity metro Tex rail station etc. Downtown grapevine has various community events throughout the year and is known as the Christmas Capital of Texas. There are statues and benches throughout the downtown area that add to the charm of historic downtown grapevine. Some of my favorite areas in the historic downtown area are talking animals (book shop), house of shine (non-profit/museum) and the farmer's market of grapevine. I look forward to my next visit.

One wall is full of differently-flavored coffee beans. Sister got me a bag of blueberry flavored beans, coz it sounded interesting, AND it turned out delicious! The shopkeeper was just a this lovely lady who patiently explained their inventory, gave us samples and informed us of the deals. A must-visit in Grapevine.

I work from home so anyplace with a cozy seat and free wifi is a good place for me. This library is multi-level with plenty of seating. Computers, printers, resources, tons of community programs and classes. They provide shelter in extreme weather. They provide food for hungry families. I recently learned they have a retro technology lab, so I'm interested in digitizing some old home videos. Being able to do something like that for free is an amazing privilege. Libraries are so important in our communities. Education, support, shelter, resources for all, and especially for those who need it. Support your local library!

It's a great place to visit on sunday or during the week and summer break for your kids,lots things to see and experience from live action chess, an event area that is used for showers , birthdays, weddings meetings they rent this area starting at 75.00 hr ., it even has a prep area to prepare your outside catering. I can't say enough about this place . lots of individual computers to use and a business center print, copy , fax which is cheaper than office depot and other copy stores, they offer a summer reading program, live readings, live concerts , dance classes for adults . outside area is simply amazing can use as picnic area lots of stores in area boutiques, ramen noodles, cookie shop close by. I give this place a 100. staff very nice and helpful. I could go on and on .
