It's 3:15. Cynthia is our server She is amazing. Knows the menu well. We had the Parisian hot chocolate with whipped chantilly cream and Valbrona Chocolate with à la croissant served. It's a spiral croissant. Definitely living it up today in Coronado.

I added this place to my list after the chocolate croissant experience went viral on social media. It definitely gets busy, so I'd recommend making a reservation online even on weekdays. I had one and was seated right away, and both the host and waitress were really friendly. The place itself is super cute with a slightly dressy vibe, which feels very Coronado. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and overall it's a really nice atmosphere. As tempting as the famous chocolate croissant experience looked, I ended up ordering the hazelnut banana croissant instead. It was HUGE, so I'd definitely say the portion size was generous. I really enjoyed the croissant itself, although the hazelnut spread tasted a little off to me personally. The latte was also just okay. I'd still come back though because there are a lot of other menu items I'd want to try before fully judging the place.

It was good just not great. Not sure I would return for +$100 breakfast for 2 (not including tip). We were seated on the sidewalk next to the fresh flowers and under an umbrella. It was very nice and fun to people watch while eating brunch. It was a little noisy being seated so close to your neighbors. Was expecting to be wowed by service, taste, etc... and just wasn't. Medium burger was raw on one side?? not sure how that could even happen unless it was frozen or something? The short rib was good but again not amazing. We had the fancy Hot Chocolate Croissant with fresh creme and strawberries. The Croissant was a little touch to eat... had to use a knife to cut through it. I'd pass on the croissant next time and stick with the hot chocolate, strawberries, and creme. The service started super slow, almost twenty minutes before anyone acknowledged we were seated (had to ask for server). Once the server arrived it was fast and friendly. Manager did swing by to check in on us but by then we were boxed up and walking out the door.

OK: Imagine the most decadent "death by chocolate" food you know. Double it. No triple it. Plus a little. That's how chocolatey their hot chocolate is. Omg it's nuts. If you ever wondered what the hot chocolate tasted like in The Polar Express, I'm pretty sure they served this stuff. So don't skip it--but also don't have it before your meal. XD If you have it with the croissant it's practically a meal in itself. The raclette--wow. This is the cheese version of what I just said about the chocolate. But um... I'm not sure I was up for it--not after that much chocolate! Man, I did it all wrong. Including: Don't get a burger at a fancy French restaurant. Who does that? I did, 's who. It was OK. Nothing to write home about, and nothing to pay a lot for. Butter lettuce and prawn salad? That was decent stuff! Don't get the dressing on your pants, though. Very un-fancy-French-restaurant. And not that great for pants. I thought the salad was pretty good quality, though: good prawns, good lettuce. Ambience was nice. Reminded us of our little vacation in France. Except for the English-speaking bit, of course. Service was OK. Definitely get reservations! Go for something other than the burger, and have the chocolate last.

Came here to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed the food. The breakfast was delicious and not overly sweet or seasoned. The interior is cozy and outside is so pretty. I really loved the presentation of the dishes as well as their hot chocolate! That hot chocolate was amazing~ perfect for sharing with a partner, friend, or your kids. Service was great with the host accommodating us earlier than our original reservation. Waitress and waiter services a little so-so. We did have to go out of our way to flag people down, but it was ok. Overall, lovely experience in San Diego.

Always a great decision to take a client to Coronado, especially Little Frenchie. The ambiance is relaxing. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. No pressure to dress up, just impress and get the contract signed. Escargot is on point. Everything else tastes just as good as it looks. Be back soon!

Comely, popular and quite busy French Bistro on the south side of Coronado City. Loved my jambon sandwich and soup, very tasty. However what I came for was the signature hot chocolate served in a spiral croissant with a side of fresh whipped cream and strawberries. Heavenly. So much sugar that I decided to take a Mike walk to the Coronado Ferry Landing. The service is excellent. They work really hard and are able to maintain a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. I was impressed. Coronado city, which is also an island, is a great place to explore before or after you dine at Little Frenchie. I suggest you take a walk afterwards to burn of the sugar high. Interesting to note that the Navy still operates on the northern part of the island at the Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI or "North Island").

This is the cutest place ever! Looking for major French vibes? This is your spot. We opted for the ever popular Hot Chocolate croissant. It did NOT disappoint! Our server poured the perfect pour letting me capture the moment magically.

Wonderful brunch experience. The service matched and exceeded our expectations. I felt like the whole staff worked closely as a team and took part in our brunch experience. One thing for sure, make reservations. This restaurant is reservation only and no walk in. Which says a lot, there was no chaos and every seat was filled. We tried their famous cocoa, which is a meal all in itself. We also went with their French onion soup, flavor packed and huge serving. And also tried their burger and fries. My only gripe is our table found the food was a bit salty. I say ask for the salt on the side if you're sensitive. Definitely a must try.

We visited on a quick trip to Coronado sans kids. This place was on my list!! It did not disappoint! We came for brunch and sat outside under cute umbrellas. Our service was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the Avocado tartine, herbed omelette, and shared the Frenchie toast!! All were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious!! We decided to come back for dinner as well. Omg!! I can't wait to come back. For dinner we enjoyed a French baguette with the Escargot - the best I've ever had, the Cavaiar Éclair (do not miss this!) duck à l'orange (drool), and short rib bourguignon. We added wine pairing with each course and shared. Highly recommend that! And finished off with the chocolate mousse! Now I'm hungry!!

Very attentive staff. My friend that came with was feeling nauseous from the car ride and they were so accommodating with her request for lemon, hot water and honey. Food quality was amazing. I order the French dip and fancy social media hot chocolate. Wished I knew they had the passion fruit dipped croissant on special for the month of January before ordering. Recommend making reservations as the Sunday we showed up they wouldn't have seated us without one. Cute French blue and white decor. Beautiful location walking distance to the beach.

Epic happy hour with a beautiful cheese board, with candied pecans, hive honey, blackberry compote, great baguette bread. The escargot (in their shells) were amazing, as were the short rib croquette. Great service to boot.

The Little Frenchie is the most adorable restaurant. I have been coming to Coronado for many years and this was the first time I had been but I will definitely be coming back! Our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. Made us feel very welcome. The food was DELICIOUS! I got the burger and it was one of the most decadent burgers I've ever had. The Raclette cheese served table-side elevated the experience even more! I highly recommend the desserts, they all looked delicious! Our table got two of the Spritzes and they were so fresh.

With $1.50 oysters, it's almost like a no lose situation at this point so honestly, give it a try. Service was friendly from beginning to end. Seated quickly, first seating so everything was perfectly set up and clean. Love the feel of this restaurant, the simplicity reminds me of cafes in France. Oysters were on point and quick, raw scallop makes for a great pic, and crab toast is worth ordering multiples! I skipped the carbs by substituting lettuce for toast. And definitely squeeze the lemon all over your seafood, makes a huge difference. Parking is always "fun" in this area, but if you find one, stick around after and walk around the area. Great view of downtown San Diego across the street.
