    Lobster ravioli
    Joy A.

Galen was our server and was fantastic! We started with the homemade bread and truffle butter appetizer, which were phenomenal. Galen also gave us the Italian herb butter to try. For my dinner, I got the pesto pasta with shrimp which was delicious. My husband got the lobster ravioli, which was also delicious. We shared a side of brussels sprouts and everything was phenomenal. The food came out very quickly and service was excellent. No complaints-10 out of 10.

It was excellent, like we were in Italy, Drea was our server. The wine was great and we had Pasta that was through the roof. They kept coming by and offering us more wine tasting. Would highly recommend.

Made a reservation for 6:45. Arrived a little early and they were able to get us a table. Food was very tasty. We got the brussel sprouts, veal with a side of broccolini & the bucatini amatriciana with a couple meatballs. Ordered a vodka dirty martini with regular olives and it was very cold and yummy. The server we got was very attentive and explained a couple items on the menu we had questions about and stopped by a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. We sat outside on a perfect summer night and it was amazing to feel that breeze on this warm weather. The place gave me like an European cottage vibe and the details they decorated with, each had their purpose. It was such a cozy vibe. We will def come back and maybe check inside on our next visit.

    Pappardelle Bolognese

My friend and I came here after her sister highly recommended the lasagna. Despite that; we didn't order it but rather a pappardelle bolognese and gnocchi with the strawberry salad. I ordered a cocktail while she ordered wine and our server/bartender suggested some wine that would pair well with our dishes. I highly recommend the strawberry salad! It's unique, flavorful and so refreshing before a heavy entree. Hailing from Italy myself, I can tell you that the pappardelle is the real deal! Ambiance itself was very quirky and yet has a sense of feeling like you're gone. Customer service was incredible. We felt so attended to and it legit made our experience so much better! Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible, homemade from scratch Italian food. The ambiance was set as "cozy" on Google reviews but I'd consider it like a lowkey, mom & pop shop with hipster vibes. Ha! Service was incredible by a very kind gentleman whose name I definitely couldn't pronounce properly or spell but he was Italian with a pony! They're so attentive and FAST. Meals are a good size with just so much flavor, you know it's all made with love. Definitely order the bread and you can't go wrong with any pasta. Spinach salad was like a Greek salad but with spinach instead of romaine-- fabulous. Thank you team, keep up the great work!

We were walking in Coronado and decided to check out Nado Republic for a late lunch. I love their seating area and the food here is very delicious! We shared the gnocchi and a pizza. I'll definitely be back!

Food was good. Waiter gave extensive warning about cacio e pepe potentially being too salty because "it's similar to how the dish is in Rome" (...no idea what he was talking about based on my visits to Rome). Both orders were on the pepper side of the spectrum; neither of us thought it was at all salty. Lasagna was rich (as expected). Salads were fresh. Brussels sprouts delicious. Cocktails a bit weak. Ambiance was fine; it was nice to sit outside with the option of heat lamps. They do nickel & dime you quite a bit, thus the loss of a star. "Oh you want prosciutto with the burrata? Sure!" "Let's get you some bread." Well, a few slices of prosciutto are $6 - currently listed on their website's menu as $5. A small sliced baguette (=two bites each for 5 people) is also $6, and it's not even listed on the menu that they charge for bread. Cappuccino? $6. Espresso? $5. Quite the markup... If they want to be more like Europe, sure, make everyone buy mineral water, but include the bread with the meal, have reasonable prices for the mediocre espresso, etc. Also, we were nearly late for our plans due to slow service when it got a bit busy. I put the time we needed to leave by in the reservation on OpenTable weeks ago, but I guess they were too busy up-charging the other patrons.

Absolutely amazing! Fresh pasta, bread, and tasty. The best lasagna i have tased in years. An absolute surprise. And then, the interior design. Eclectic. Go. Enjoy. Thank me later.

Gnocchi Asiago truffle pasta but with rigatoni instead.

The food was amazing! Loved all of it! It was a super busy night so service was a bit slow, but they gave us a complimentary limoncello shot. Highly recommend!

We were searching for a late-night spot after a stressful holiday evening at Hotel Del and were so glad we found this place. From the moment we walked in, the vibe and ambiance were on point. I ordered a signature drink and the bartender was clearly very skilled. The food was delicious and the whole experience was the perfect ending to an overwhelming night. This place made our trip to Coronado worth it!

Nado Republic has become one of my favorite spots in San Diego! During the weekends you can find the whole place buzzing with customers so make sure to try to have a reservation. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff welcomed us like family, which instantly set the tone for a wonderful evening. The bartender was fantastic, crafting drinks that perfectly complemented the menu. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This is the kind of restaurant where you feel cared for, from service to every bite on your plate. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, amazing drinks, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We have been going to Nado since 2021 and continue to come back for the food and service.

Cute little Italian spot I found and they make their pasta noodles fresh! We didn't have reservations made but we came ahead of the dinner rush so we were able to get seats right away. Service was great and food was also good. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, madame croquette and a chicken dish wrapped in prosciutto which was their special that evening. My favorite was the madam croquette! It was very cripsy and flavorful! Next favorite was spaghetti and meatballs. I wish they did add more meatballs but it was very good the noodles were bouncy and so good!

We came here for a late lunch and had the best experience! Gaelyn our waiter was out of this world! He had amazing recommendations and it's like he knew what we needed! We had the pizza, strawberry salad, meatballs and kids buttered noodles. Everything was amazing! I loved all the Victorian 8 Italian dishes and motif! Such a beautiful cute restaurant with a garden vibe! We loved it!

Our server team was excellent. They were attentive but stayed out of the way so we could enjoy each other's company. Drinks and food were delivered in an appropriate time frame. We had a couple of their specialty cocktails and they were very good. They kept a cold bottle of water filled on our table all through our visit. We shared their Artichoke with fennel grilled appetizer, and it was excellent with the grilling and sauce for dipping. We then shared a Caesar Salad, and my wife thought it was one of the best we have had in years. Perfectly chilled and dressed with nice pieces of anchovy. For our entree we shared the Chicken Parmesan, and it was perfectly cooked and the side of Vodka Sauce Pasta was delicious too. Our meal was so tasty and delivered hot. Since this was a birthday dinner, they offered that we choose any one of their desserts complimentary. What a great touch. We certainly hope to return soon to try some of their other items listed on the menu.

The atmosphere was lively and energetic, the service was warm and welcoming, and the cocktails were excellent. We shared the black truffle pasta, followed by the Carne Mista for Two--a huge platter with perfectly cooked steak, spicy sausage, their famous rotisserie chicken, grilled vegetables, and salad. Everything was delicious, and there was so much food that we had plenty to take back to the hotel for leftovers. After dinner, we wandered through the neighborhood, grabbed gelato, and stopped by one of the nearby Italian markets. The whole area has such a fun, vibrant energy and is perfect for strolling after a meal. A couple of things to know: parking can be challenging, and the restaurant's restroom is actually located down the block. It was a little unexpected, but one of the staff members kindly walked us over, which was much appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic evening. Great food, friendly people, and a lively neighborhood. Little Italy is absolutely worth adding to your San Diego itinerary.
