Sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice and crispy veggie roll.
Denise G.

I stopped by during their lunch special on a Wednesday afternoon while on vacation in Denver. I was immediately greeted and served water and given a menu. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken lunch special with steamed rice and a crispy veggie roll. It also comes with a choice of soup but I let the server know that it was too much food for me so I didn't want to waste it. Huge portions and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We were craving Chinese food and saw some good reviews for Little Ginko. Service was fast, food came out even faster. We started with some soups (hot&sour and egg drop soup) and both were very good. The entrees were a bit less fulfilling and I would probably give them a 3.5/5. The sesame chicken was way too breaded. And the combination fried rice has some pretty poor quality cuts of meat (I thought the chicken might have even been a bit undercooked, just picked those pieces out). For the price the food was fine, but not the best we've had in Denver.

Comfy interior.

I had a delightful lunch here today. Friendly service, clean and attractive premises. Had Sesame Chicken lunch which came with soup, rice and spring roll. very tasty. Definitely will be back.

Love the pain lo mein, honey chicken, and sesame chicken. Consistently amazing every time. We prefer to eat in the restaurant vs takeout.

Cute little place

Really cute little place and they have a good amount of options, lunch specials, and they also have some adult drink options. It's taken me forever living in the area to get here. I'm glad I finally tried it. It's just so adorable and cozy inside and has that small owner feel to it. The server was working hard and super pleasant. Definitely check out and support this little gem!!!

Adorable, family-owned spot right off 13th avenue. The portion sizes are large and flavorful. Service was excellent. I really enjoyed the chicken chow fun and the sesame chicken. My friend enjoyed the curry that they ordered.

Drunken noodles.

We were in Denver last week to see Crowded House (outstanding!) and we found Little Gingko about a block from our Airbnb. They have a wide variety of entrees and appetizers. We started with some crab cheese wontons which were really tasty and some genmaicha (green tea with roasted brown rice). For entrees, I had some really delicious Singapore curry noodles with chicken and shrimp. It was fantastic, and I had enough for some leftovers later. My husband enjoyed his drunken noodles very much as well. If you're in Denver's Capitol Hill area, stop in at Little Gingko for wonderful Asian food.

Service counter

My family and I loved eating here! We got cashew chicken, orange chicken, pineapple chicken, beef lo mien, wontons and mochi. The portions were huge but it was so good we cleaned our plates! It was very nice and clean too.

Crispy Red Snapper (breaded not crispy) Wonton soup (disappointing) Red sauce (flavorful)

The food was very greasy and I had stomach issues for 4 days after I ate there. It tasted okay though.

The food at this restaurant was nearly inedible. I've never not taken leftovers home in my life before but I was so disappointed.

You walk in to pick up your order and they have tables blocking the entry, that's where you pay for your food. The portions are still as giant as ever, and the prices are still affordable. My wife and I had a hankering the other day for our old stomping grounds, so we jetted over there to pickup an order. It was ready in 10 minutes and two meals ran us $32. I think I pay $32 for a good cup of coffee these days!!!!!! I kid, I kid. The meal lasts you for days, you really get two giant sized portions out of it. It will probably last some of you three days. They don't skimp out here and it's incredible. They serve Asian fusion, Chinese American meals that are addictive. Or is that the MSG??? Probably so, and that's why it's delicious. The food is just so damn craveable! Don't break the bank. Get what you really want. Taste of China, we still love you so much.

(Note, they are closed on Tuesdays.) I placed our pickup order on a Saturday night & it was ready in 15 minutes. The restaurant is for take-out only. Our food was in containers & placed in a box. I appreciated this since there was no way anything was going to tip over & spill. Very friendly phone & counter service as well. Note, you get six free Cheese Wontons when your order is more than $40. We ordered three different entrees with three different sides - Steamed White Rice, Fried Rice & Lo Mein Noodles. The sides were good, however the fried rice didn't seem fried, it was white rice with soy sauce. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp Entree was tasty - the shrimp were medium sized, cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. The Sesame Chicken Entree was even better, the chicken was moist & tender. The beef in the Mongolian Beef Entree was great however there were way too many onions in the dish. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. Then the string beans and a new dish - sauerkraut fish filet. The sauerkraut fish filet reminded me of the Vietnamese catfish soup but no sweetness added. Very good dish and will def order again. Also love that they have quality rice here.

We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

The chicken soup dumplings, pork potstickers, and the ice cream was all very good! I wasn't such a huge fan of the tufu pork belly noodles. I was really expecting some being that would basically melt in my mouth and that was not at all the experience. it made me miss San Francisco Asian food so much... as a treat myself kind of meal, it was fine, but I'm glad I went by myself rather than a date night with my husband cause I think we both would've regretted it on the plus side if there is one is that the staff we're remarkably friendly even for the lunch crowd.
