This is a total gem. I work around the corner and come here a couple times a week. They have a surprising breadth of options despite looking like just a little coffee shop. The coffee is excellent. I'm a snob about that, so it's saying something! Most of their lunch entrees come with a really nice side salad with this delicious shallot dressing. Their chicken sandwich is a big standout, as is the kimchee beef fried rice. All their dishes are balanced, well seasoned, and very tasty. The staff is efficient and friendly! Listen, this is one of my favorite spots in Glendale. It's close to work and their food is always good. My favorite is the tuna melt. The meal comes with a small salad inside but the sandwich itself is the highlight. Perfectly golden toasted bread and amazing tuna salad with cheddar. It's got to be about the best thing ever, I crave it almost daily it's so good. Always I try to save half and bring it home for my mother but...you know, most times that just doesn't happen. Highly recommended. Seating is outdoors or you can come by to pick up. Parking is difficult so plan well. Safe to say this place has perfected their breakfast burrito game! While they have a good selection of breakfast items to choose from, I usually opt for their Braised Pulled Pork Breakfast Burrito because it's equally tasty and filling. It's made with black beans, corn, pico de gallo, bacon, cheddar, and eggs which is pretty much all of my favorite things in the world. Every bite oozes with cheese and salsa, and will leave you wanting more. If I could have it every morning for the rest of my life, I probably would because it's that good. If you're a vegetarian, they also have a roasted pepper option which I've got a few times and is quite good as well. The only reason why I'm taking off a star is because their lattes aren't all that great. Don't get me wrong, the coffee is strong but I feel like the amount of milk they put is off because it's never as creamy and smooth as I'm used to. So if you're a fan of lattes that are typically a bit creamier, I would probably not get their latte or simply tell them to add more milk if you really want to try it. What I usually do is just get their cold brew which does the job for me because it's strong and great as-is. Overall, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat if you're into breakfast burritos - I'd just think twice about their lattes. read more

Cute teddy bear latte art!!! We were in the Glendale area, so I searched for latte art, using my Yelp app. I saw a photo of a really cute bear and I wanted it! We found a parking space on the street right in front of Little Ground Cafe. It's actually window service only. Just walk right up to the window and place your order. They will call out your item from another window when it's ready to be picked up. We knew we wouldn't stay long because it was a hot summer day and there was only outside seating. I asked for the teddy bear latte art on a matcha latte. I got whole milk (even though I prefer soy or almond milk) because the picture turns out better. The matcha was a bit bitter, so I just added a packet of sugar and it was just right! I was really happy with my cute beverage! I went for the first time today and I think I'll definitely become a regular. I ordered the hummus wrap and it was amazing. It had such good flavor. Usually meatless options are always eh but this was great (although you can add chicken if you wanted). It comes with a little side salad. The dressing is really good too. Happened to be in the area and stopped by for some lunch. It was the best decision I made today. I ordered the hazelnut iced latte and the chicken soba salad. The salad was amazing. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's packed with plenty of veggies and a good serving of chicken. I also tried the rosemary chicken salad sandwich, also to die for. My iced latte was just ok, and it tasted more like caramel than hazelnut. You order up at the window and there's a small outdoor seating area available with about 9 small tables. TL:DR - Cool seating area, good coffee, ok pastries. ---------------- Little Ground cafe is about a 15 minute walk from my work, so every now and then, at around 300pm, I'll go to get some coffee. Maybe it's because I'm tired, maybe it's the intense Glendale sun, but that first sip of my iced americano is just what I need. I typically like my coffee, whether that be brewed or as an espresso to be more on the bitter side; I like the more earthy tastes of the beans, rather than a clean acidic taste. That being said, Little Ground has the best balance of both. It leaves me with a boost of energy and a nice taste in my mouth. If I'm feeling extra run down that day, I'll also pick up a pastry. Since it's in the afternoon, they are half off and a little bit on the old side, but I really can't fault them for that. They have a typical spread of coffee cakes, scones, muffins, and cookies, and they are all still tasty. I prefer the orange ginger scone, because it's not too sweet and pairs perfectly with coffee. The seating area off to the side is pretty cool. A long U shaped concrete bench encases the area, with wooden beams and netting over the top. You would think that the area would get hot during the day, but the concrete stays surprisingly cool. If you have time, it's nice just to sit down and relax on the cool concrete and forget about everything. hahaha read more

Although a great menu and great prices. The resolution and being charged twice for an order that they got wrong turned into a defensive situation with a belligerent and hostile staff member. We ordered an item with tofu, they used beef and refused to correct the item. I then had to reorder it and they charged me insisting that it wasn't their problem. The cashier/ order taker was defensive and abrasive. This is bad form and not how to conduct customer service. A quaint cafe that caters mostly to Disney employees (only open M-F 7am-4pm). Although it has limited outdoor seating, I've never had issues finding a table even during lunch time. I got the Vanilla Latte with oat milk, the Soba Salad, and the Hummus Wrap. The latte was flavorful and smooth, just as the other reviews had mentioned. I saw the salad on Yelp but didn't see it on the menu, but the owner/cashier said they do offer it. I'm glad I asked about it as I'd highly recommend it. The salad ($11) came with nicely cooked soba noodles, chicken, chopped nuts, various veggies, and a tasty dressing (I believe it's sesame sauce). Highly recommend this place for coffee and brunch! My family and I are currently on vacation and have been here three days in a row trying different things on the menu. Our favorites have been the Brioche Breakfast Sandwich and the Breakfast Burritos. We've also had the caesar salad, kale and quinoa salad and hummus wrap. All of which have been delicious. After having a nice birthday breakfast at a nearby spot, wanted coffee and couldn't find adequate spots to what we were looking for. Yelp helped me make my decision to come here and it was on the way to our shopping spree in Burbank. The location itself is nice, walk up window counter and side, outside seating was very unique. Very limited parking in the street, we got lucky and parked at one of the only two spots right in front of this coffee shop. Mixed reviews here from the two drinks that we got. The lady got a vanilla latte and I got the vanilla cold brew. Hers was too sweet and mine had very little vanilla flavor so I opted to put some cinnamon and some half and half to make it taste better. I'll take a better luck next time. But I did a 30 minute street parking right in front and just took my order to go. they serve Stumptown coffee which I always enjoy. I had the brioche breakfast sandwich with mushrooms and spinach - I took it to go and thus the bread was a bit soggy by the time I ate it. Good sandwich though - I would recommend it for dine-in orders. The lady taking orders was very cool and she let me know they also make the brioche sammy with a chicken sausage made in-house. (I'm not a chicken eater but i'm house sausage sounds worthy of mention!). I also tried the biscuit which was a little dry and had a little bit of an onion flavor which I personally do not enjoy. And lastly, I had the rye cookie which a little extra sweet but very delicious and SO GOOD with the coffee! And now I'm realizing how much I just ate... A surprisingly cute, quiet little spot in Glendale with solid coffee and food options. Definitely above-average for the area. COFFEE & FOOD: Little Ground is located right on the corner of Flower and Sonora, which makes it easy to miss when you're driving. It's walking distance from Disney's GC3 campus and as such is an employee favorite (this is also how I found out about it). It's certainly the best coffee in the area, although the caveat is that there aren't many great options to start with. I've never had an issue with street parking yet, which is your only option for this little place. There are a few spots right along the curb in front. Worst case, you might have to park on a side street further down on Flower. The interesting thing to note about Little Ground is that they have no indoor seating, only an outdoor (shaded) patio. I don't see this being much of a problem since weather is rarely an issue, but it's good to keep in mind in case you're looking for AC or want to avoid traffic noises. Service is friendly and polite. COFFEE & FOOD: They use Stumptown roasts and the flavor comes out in their cold brew and brewed coffee. However, I feel like it's a bit diluted in their lattes and other espresso drinks. I was a big fan of the cold brew ($4), but probably wouldn't get the iced latte again. Prices are very decent. My iced latte was $4.65 after tax, whereas most places get into the +$5 territory these days. Although I haven't tried their food yet, they have a very tempting array of breakfast, lunch, and baked good options. I believe they're Korean-owned, which is why things like kimchi fried rice show up as lunch specials from time to time. Anytime that someone around me has ordered food, it smells great and is presented beautifully. If desserts are your thing, they also have a "happy hour" from 3-5 where all baked goods are 50% off. Again, prices seem very reasonable. Most lunch items look to be under $10 and baked goods hover around $3 (pre-happy hour pricing). read more
