I purchased an Aliner classic from Tom's Camperland and saved over $5400 from what they wanted at little guy trailers. I did drive to AZ from So Cal but it was worth the savings and little guys trailers didn't get my cash! It was worth the 5 hour drive. We can't say enough about the professionalism of the staff at Little Guy. We drove down from LA just to take a peek. Short story is we drove away with a MeerKat which they build themselves. What a well designed and meticulously made trailer. The pride of craftsmanship was obvious. Never once did they pressure my wife and I to buy. They were enthusiastic and explained everything in detail. It was quite busy and occasionally they'd have to jump briefly to another customer but they'd circle back to see how we were doing. Mark the owner, his son Sean, and Paul looked like pinballs trying to keep everyone satisfied. When it slowed down a bit Paul went to Starbucks and got us coffee. What? I see there's a couple poor reviews here. I can't imagine. We never had so much fun buying a large ticket item. Paul even called us later that day to make sure we got home okay and if we had any questions that came up while driving home. Lastly their showroom was well stocked. It was truly like being in a trailer candy store. It's so nice to meet people who care about their customers and let the sale be a natural process without the typical sales shtick that's often the norm. Five Stars and then some. read more

Really nice guys and a ton of super cool trailers. I've never shopped for them before so I didn't know what to expect, but these teardrop trailers are totally cute and way better than just pitching a tent. And it will easily fit in our garage when we're not out camping, which I now can't wait to do. I'm also excited to by some of the accessories they have available like awnings and such. It was fun to check out all the models and plan on how to deck it out. Oh plus the mattresses that come in it are very comfortable so no more inflatable ones :-). We purchased our Little Guy 5 Wide 3 years ago and have loved it! We are just arriving home after our third long distance trip with our Little Guy. We have covered approximately 14,000 miles!!! We have loved it and get stopped all the time from people wondering what "teardrop" camping is like. We show ours off all the time! We have had three problems, but let me explain. First, a water leak that was frustrating but turned out to be as simple as making sure the fittings were tightened. We go out on a lot of long trips and with all that movement the fittings need to be checked and tightened, easy fix! Second, the windows leaked, but on one of our cross country trips we stopped at manufacturer in Massillon, OH and they came out to personally fix the windows! Easy fix by tapping the frame! Third was a big one! The hitch holding our bikes on the trailer failed. The rack came down with the bikes! Upon a call to our dealer in San Diego we were referred to manufacturer in Massillon, OH. We did ask if this had ever happened before to other customers, they said yes it had to a few. Upon our offer of stopping by they said they could fix it for us. A much better design and at NO CHARGE!!! They also asked us for an email stating the cost of the bikes and the rack and after this was submitted we received a check!!! You can't tell me this isn't great customer service!!! We believe in Little Guy!! read more

We just finished a 3 week trip with our Meerkat Trailer to the Pacific NorthWest. We traveled over 3,000 miles. Our mpg was 21.5! We had intense rain at Lopez Island and the trailer and awning performed great and kept us dry. I like the deep icebox which kept things cold for 3 days at a time. The fantastic fan kept moisture out of the trailer. I'm 5'10.5" and sleep on the passenger side, which is longer. I really like having a wardrobe to carry coats and sweaters. Having the pump faucet sink is easy to manage and ensures fresh water because you simply keep it supplied with a recyclable water bottle. This trip, I really appreciated the awning to protect us from sun and rain. read more

Mark and the guys do a really fine job. When we were on the road and our TV stopped working, or we had questions, they were always there to help us and got right on any problems. Erik was particularly knowledgeable about all the little details of the coach. But the best thing was when we need to sell our Little Guy, they sold it for us at a very good price. Purchased my cricket sport model from here to go up to Alaska and am really glad I got it from here and not where I was originally planning to. Eric was nice, respectful and struck me as a very trustworthy guy. He was also knowledgeable of all the trailers features and took time to go thru each of them with me to make sure I knew how it ran before taking it + he gave me some good tips on how to protect it from weather damage on my way up. The price was really good as well and it came with loads of extras I would have had to pay an arm and leg for elsewhere. I drove from LA to San Diego to the Little Guy Trailers location as they have a large selection of small camping trailers. I was originally interested in a Teardrop Trailer, but after looking around and seeing the Meerkat, it was love at first site. They build them themselves and the quality is outstanding. They were very helpful and let me take my time looking at all the models they have, but Meerkat won me over. If you are looking for a small trailer, not a large RV, give them a look. I Got my LittleGuy Tag trailer form these Guys in SanDiego last year, been enjoying the heck out of the trailer. So easy to pull with my CRV getting ready to go out again. Please be careful. These men stole my entire future. I paid cash for a MeerKat camper. I agreed without argument to their amended shipping costs after the full payment of the agreed-upon total. The day after the trailer was scheduled to arrive they notified me that they had lost track of the trucker's location, then after two weeks they told me he had broken down in Texas. I canceled my order and requested a refund. Please note: I never signed the contract they sent (preferring to sign upon delivery). I never signed the CA DMV paperwork to transfer ownership. I never signed the form requesting a title. This company cut and pasted the Power of Attorney signature block from an official government form into handwritten checklist and asked me to sign that power over to them. I did not sign the power of attorney. Please be careful if you choose to do business with these people. While I believe that the authorities will ultimately require them to return my $22K, I'll have a long and complex process to complete with the California DMV and OAG. I was naive and never saw this coming. There are predators out there, folks, and, sadly, retirees are apparently attractive targets. I'll never get the time back. Please don't let these people steal your future as they have mine. read more

If you are looking for a small travel trailer, this is the place. Great inventory complements excellent sales staff (2 knowledgeable folks). Easy to find. We purchased a T@B from this company and have been very pleased at the sales process and after the sale service to get this rig ready to get out and go camping. Tried the internet to find a better deal but the small savings by going to LA or Arizona could not outweigh shopping locally and seeing the inventory first hand. After a recent tent camping trip, we decided to enhance our future vacations by adding a small trailer to the mix. Their selection was top notch with over 40 to look at and see every option available. I would of driven 500 miles to see a show room like that. I have researched the entire nation and consider myself an expert on little guys and Little Guy San Diego had the best selection and prices I could find. They are the West Coast distributor so they are able to offer lower prices than the competition. I don't mean to make this review sound like a commerical for Little Guy in San Diego but Today I was supposed to pick up my T@B teardrop trailer and my salesman, Eric had to tell me the trailer that came in wasn't exactly what I ordered. He contacted Chris at the factory before I arrived and they figured out what had happened and why my trailer didn't match my order. One of the reasons I bought my T@B, rather than another ultralight trailer was the reputation this company has and how they stand behind their product. Every T@B owner knows and appreciates the quality and workmanship that goes into these little trailers. Today I got to experience what standing behind your product really means. Eric (My Salesman at the San Diego little guy dealer, the ONLY place to buy a T@B in California) quickly worked to solve what could have turned out to be a real "boondoggle" in his words. They don't treat you like a sale, they treat you like a good friend. Which is what they end up being as they also camp monthly with their customers. If you are thinking of getting a T@B or any of the other teardrops little guy makes, you should do yourself a favor and go talk to Little guy in san diego. They have lots of different types of ultralight trailers and teardrop trailers onsite (although T@B's are the BEST but I may be biased) and can tell you what you need to know to buy the right one for you.
