Alex grew up in London, so we had a great chat about our shared London roots before ordering. We started with a couple of samosas, then went for their signature Naanos. I had the chicken tikka on garlic naan, Alexander had the same on butter naan, and Vicki had the tandoori shrimp on garlic naan. The Naano is essentially a big, freshly cooked naan served open-faced and piled high with your choice of protein, arugula, fresh toppings and sauces. My chicken tikka was incredibly tender and juicy, with a lovely char from the tandoor and loads of flavour. It's generous, messy in the best possible way, and you can fold it up and get stuck in. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and modern, with a really relaxed atmosphere. Service was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and Alex took the time to chat with us and make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We ate every bite and we'll defo be back!
