I visited on a Thursday afternoon around 2 PM. I was the only one in the restaurant; so, I was greeted and seated immediately. The expansive menu was clear and very basic looking. All of the typical Indian dishes were offered, and many of the typical Chinese dishes were offered. This restaurant appears to be a nice fusion of both cuisines. I ordered the vegetable Samosa, the chicken, biryani, garlic naan with extra garlic and mango lassi. Everything was brought to me at the same time piping hot. And even though I dined in, I was given plastic utensils. I'm not sure how I feel about the plastic utensils. Generally, I'd like to eat off of metal utensils if I dine in, so I'm not pleased with this option. The vegetable samosas were packed with peas, onions, and potatoes and spices. Actually, I've never seen so many peas in a vegetable Samosa. So I was very pleased with this menu item. They were only offered with the tamarin sauce and not the mint sauce that I've gotten with samosas at other restaurants. The garlic naan had extra garlic, as I asked for, but the bread seemed to be a little bit undercooked. Even with that it was still tasty. Now my entrée, the chicken biryani, was not nearly as spicy as I wanted it to be. However, it did have a decent spice level, but it was not the "hot" that I wanted. I ordered hot, but I rarely can get any of the restaurants chefs to actually make the spicy level that I desire. I've had very spicy Indian food in other cities, but not here in Louisville. It seems the chefs diminish their spice level to accommodate the palates of the people in the region. While this saddens me, I thoroughly understand the reason why. My chicken biryani contained lots of chunks of chicken and tasty spices, but seemingly no other vegetables. Even though its spice level may have been disappointing, the dish was very flavorful and I would order it here again. Overall, even with the mild disappointments of plastic utensils, and spice level, I enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. read more

I have eaten at this restaurant location for 20 plus years, from a solid Chinese restaurant to another very good Indian place called Flavor of India (maybe) to Wun Rawt last week. The menu is large with a full Indian and Chinese menus, today I chose Indian. I had a short time to stop and this was convenient, the service was prompt and the food came out reasonably quick. They seemed to have a good flow of deliveries going out as well as walk-in carry out. I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo that was a larger portion and an equally large serving of rice. The spices were on point, the heat level was as explained and the overall flavor was Very satisfying, I inhaled that dish and was on my way, overall this is a place to return to, hopefully I can try the Chinese menu when I return. The dining room could be updated and brightened up a little but it was clean and had a good sized dining area that can accommodate a large lunch crowd typically in this area. read more

I ordered through Uber Eats. It only took about 30 minutes. When the food got here, it was still super hot. I had the chicken curry. It was very good. It came with rice and a huge portion of the chicken curry. It's enough for 2 or 3 meals. The naan was really good too. Definitely freshly made. I'll be ordering from here again. read more

I have never actually dined in - I have always done take out or door dash, but this place deserves all the stars. I very on what I get because I do like to try different things - but my most ordered is their Chicken Korma. I can honestly say it is hands down my favorite dish from any Indian Cuisine I've had. It's thick, it's creamy, it's everything I've ever dreamt. I always order their medium heat or hotter (just depends on the dish). Got some delivery today from this newish Indian place. I like spicy and I like goat. They do spicy got very well. Most places I go and I ask for extra hot they don't seem to believe me. Probably because I'm pigmentally challenged. Most Indian restaurants aren't afraid to punish me for daring to ask for Indian hot. Flavors cuisine is no exception. The bone in goat curry was ordered extra spicy. It did not disappoint. Great flavor and a fair amount of heat. I ordered vegetable korma medium spicy. It still had a bite to it. Great creamy sauce with lots of broccoli and cauliflower. Garlic naan was great for wiping up that sauce. I don't think I've ever had any Indian that I did not like. I'm a little confused by all the good reviews, honestly. Went during peak dinner time on a Friday night and the place was empty except for us and some delivery people. We had the chana masala, beef korma, and garlic naan. Served with styrofoam plates and cups with plastic utensils. The curry was okay, but not very flavorful and not as spicy as I would expect for "spicy" Indian food. I heard a microwave beeping from the kitchen, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was all pre-made and nuked. The naan was extremely disappointing. Tasted weird, very dense, burnt on the edges but doughy in the middle. I've never seen naan like that. My chana masala didn't have as many chickpeas as I would have liked, and the beef korma barely had any beef. For those 3 things, it was $45. I'd say it was worth $15. read more

I did pickup from this location on a Monday night. I really wanted to like the restuarant because it has great reviews. I was undecided between calling them tomorrow and requesting new food or just leaving a review. So I ordered tikka masala which cost about $15 with tax (it comes with rice). I am very disappointed by the fact that the cilantro is diced into small pieces and mixed throughout all of my tikka masala (it is not a garnish as included in the other pictures). Unfortunately, I hate the taste of cilantro. This has been a pretty disappointing experience for me cause I really wanted to like the place. I'm left disappointed and sad. read more

This (relatively new) Indian Restaurant rates 5 Stars for me on location (very close to my home and near the Interstate), Dining Room, Menu, Price, Portion, Quality of Food and Service! If you haven't been here, you need to go (it could be easier to see from busy road with better signage) it is two doors down from The Seafood Lady on Fern Valley Rd. This week, I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo for lunch, it was a very large portion made fresh, plenty of rice on the side with the spice and flavors right on point! I had to take half the order home but looked forward to eating it later as this was the best Vindaloo I have had in Louisvillle and the surrounding areas! I tried this today and it was delicious. A few minor disappointments but nothing to stop me coming back. I got the Lamb Roganjosh and the Paneer entrees that were both portion sizes for two. Both were delicious and spiced well (although not spicy enough but I added my own red pepper flakes). I ordered garlic naan which was just 'a'ight' and the Papad which pictured below was swimming in grease but tasted okay (couldn't eat much bc it's not supposed to be deep fried). The lamb & paneer were in generous amounts. I wanted onion chutney but they do not offer it. I ordered the Raita (yogurt) which was runny but very tasty and worked well. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Louisville right now. The butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan are fantastic. Everybody in Louisville needs to go try it. Worst samosas that I have ever had. What I got: vegetable samosas onion kucha lamb vindaloo Kucha tasted like they dumped sugar into it. I have had better lamb vindaloo from Trader Joe's. The vindaloo sauce was fairly boring and one dimensional. The samosas, genuinely gargantuan, the largest I had ever seen, had been fried Cracker Barrel style and the outside was just coated in salt and too much spice. I had never thrown away a half-eaten samosa before this. I would definitely avoid this one. It looks like that it was very recently a chinese joint that rebranded itself as an indian restaurant. read more

Wow, this was a great find and experience on Uber Eats for delivery! We normally have a favorite for Indian Cuisine near us that we goto, but they don't offer delivery. This was a great choice and we can't wait to order again and explore their menu. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Tadka (was free with an Uber Eats Promo), Garlic Nan, Chicken 65, and an extra side of rice. Everything was cooked well, very flavorful and delicious. The only thing we would do differently next time is not order the extra rice and do an extra order of garlic nan instead because we didn't realize the meals came with rice. Any good review you have read is true. Today we had Curry Chicken and Chicken Beriyana. The curry chicken was very good but The Beriyana was out of this world good. The garlic Nan is very good too. This location is the epitome of don't judge by outward appearance. Tucked away in a strip mall next to other restaurants & businesses, it's easy to miss. Once inside, you can tell that it was once a Chinese restaurant and interestingly, once seated, they ask if you would like the Chinese menu or the Indian food menu. We were there for Indian and it did not disappoint. Prompt service, generous portions, and spiced as requested.. Tasty Mango lassies, order the cheese naan - amazing!
