In this restaurant there is a Vietnamese menu and an Indian menu. We had the Indian food. We had five different dishes for the table, and everyone was excellent! The service was fantastic, and the portion sizes generous. It is a neat little out of the way restaurant located within a delightfully eclectic grocery store. In combination with Pho Taki, in an Asian grocery store in a U-Haul lot. But really well done which was surprising but very pleasant. They make their pho broth with real beef bones and serve it with all the right trimmings, including good Vietnamese meat balls. What a nice treat in a region of more traditional American fare - thanks to Yelp reviews we gave Little India a try. It is in an out of the way spot for those traveling down 84 but not too far. We enjoyed the butter chicken and curried chicken as well as their fresh spring rolls. Service was friendly. We would stop again for sure! read more

This is a little restaurant tucked into a grocery store. I was tickled to be taken to this place because the grocery store was so fun to walk through. So many different styles of cookies, sweets, herbs and spices were just one of the aisles. The fresh veges and exotic meats were in the back. We guided ourselves over to the back corner to eat. I ordered the vegetable Pho and my sister had the paneer. I hadn't really ever tried Pho, but I thought this would be a great place to give it a go, I saw so many people come and go and even extended family members of the owners, employees were coming in. You knew that you were in for that home cooked feel. I didn't realize that cilantro was a major herb for pho, so I was taken a bit aback when I got a fresh vegetables/herb plate to put in as my last add for the Pho. The size of my bowl when it arrived was huge. My sister's paneer was a healthy serving as well. I loved the amount of veges I got in my dish and the broth was fantastic. I loved the noodles since they were thin but I just couldn't eat the whole dish. This is definitely one spot to go for that warm comfy food feel you look for in the winter and a great price. read more

Fantastic flavors and a bunch of products to take home and try to make yourself! $20 for lamb korma, rice, naan and a Coke, and was able to take a bit home for a snack. The market is great for spices and ingredients that I have not seen elsewhere in Idaho. I will be back for the pho! read more

Love this place! Always on point! Pho is good but I go for the Indian. Never disappointed, chicken tikka masala and butter lamb are my favorites. Owners are nice and personable. Always feel welcomed. Ok this place is like right out of an episode of the Twilight zone !! An Indian/Vietnamese restaurant in the back of an Asian grocery store......in Twin Falls Idaho. Pretty big Indian menu and a smaller Vietnamese menu all in one. I ordered a small (HUGE) bowl of pho and garlic naan. I live near Seattle so have had good pho before (Pho Bac) and this places pho matches up !!! The beef comes red in the middle and cooks in the bowl like it should, plenty of meat and noodles, comes with bean sprouts, jalapenos, limes, cilantro, soy sauce and hot sauce, no Thai basil but that probably isn't as easy to get here so understandable....and its freaking good !!!! In Twin Falls ???? The naan was not as pillowy like good naan is, but never the less it was pretty soft and tasted really good. So the Asian owner is cooking and an Indian guy also, the Asian co owner, wife is manning the front cash register, a college age white girl is taking orders and bussing tables, a 50 yr old business like couple is eating Indian food at the table next to me, a 50 yr old Mexican is eating Indian food and joking with the Indian chef (you could tell they were friends) in broken English. What a fun experience and what great Indian/Asian food in a place I wasn't expecting it !!! You won't be disappointed !!! read more

All I can say is YUM!! I love this place. Butter chicken, lamb, naan, spring rolls...everything is delicious. If I had any complaint it's that they don't deliver and their hours are short, but it's a small family business so I don't blame them. What can you say about a small 7 table restaurant inside an Asian grocery store? How about its one of twin falls best places to eat. It never fails, the smaller and mor unassuming the place looks, the better place to eat. One of my favorites, the Pho is pho- nominal. The Indian food is top notch. 1. This is the only place where you get indian food in this town/area I guess. 2. It's actually a small Asian grocery shop but they have lots of Asian/ india cooking stuffs ( like noodles, vegetables, Asian chocolates, flour, tender coconut all grocery stuffs also they have some basic utensils) and inside the shop there's the little india restaurant. 3. The outside board will say some Pho taki Asian market/ little india restaurant. 4. Look for the steel fence from the road and just straight from fence you will find the space to park in front of that small shop. 5. Once you go inside the shop on the right you will find the tables and chairs of restaurant it's a very small place ( infact you can see the chef cooking :)) but definitely worth it. 6. Excellent service. ( also she gave some tips.. places to visit in which she recommended to visit canyon scenic view close to the highway which we did in evening and that was excellent: huge bridge with loud traffic noise, two waterfalls at distance, birds, some parachute landers and beautiful sunset view) 7. We enjoyed veg biryani ( rice mixed with veggies like carrots, snow peas, peas beans, cauliflower etc mixed with cashew and raisins) just that turmeric powder was too much otherwise it was perfect. 8. Then thin roti and naan was good. 9. We liked the saag panner gravy a lot( yeah it's served with white rice) 10. Mixed veg curry was not that good. 11. Samosa was excellent. 12. Don't miss the Vietnamese coffee: warm version ( we had that with condensed milk and sugar and it tasted little bit like madras filter coffee so South Indians don't miss it that was a bliss) 13. They also serve pakkora, chicken tikka masala, lamb , baingan barta, paneer tikka masala, aloo mutter etc) 14. Finally they gave tamarind chocolate and that was good aswell. Had that on our long drive it tasted authentic and yum. Note: 1. Don't miss to grab the tender coconut from the refrigerator it tasted yum. 2. We picked some Indonesia noodles like maagi pack for our travel stay which is microwaveable cooking and that tasted good aswell. read more

Pleasantly surprised. If you judge a book by its cover, don't even bother coming. It's divey... in a U-Haul / Fed-Ex / Asian, Middle Eastern, Eastern European, Indian neighborhood market. They serve Indian and Vietnamese cuisine. The owner from what we are told is Cambodian. On the surface, it doesn't scream EAT HERE! But, the Indian food was very good...competing with flavors from the best of them in SoCal. We had butter lamb, chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, vegetable samosas and garlic naan. The naan is an afterthought...undoubtedly store bought. Pricey for what it is. The rice was dry and unimaginative, but the mains were delicious, seasoned, balanced and appropriately spiced. Chicken was a tad dry, but that is typical of the cuisine. We polished it off. Interested in the quality if the Vietnamese side of the menu, but if it's like the Indian, it's worth overlooking the questionable exterior. read more

Little India opened fairly recently and I went there for lunch to see if it's any good. I'm happy to say that it is. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala with rice, naan, and a soda. The Tikka Masala was very good. They give you the option for mild, medium, and hot. I chose medium and it was not too spicy but tasted great. The naan was good, but very soft and I wonder if they even cook it in a tandoor. They don't offer garlic naan, so I guess I"ll have to live without it. My biggest complaint is the price. My lunch (not including tip) was $19. That is quite a bit for what you get. I would like to see them add some reasonably priced lunch combos as I don't think many people in Twin Falls are going to spend $15-20 on lunch. Overall, I thought it was very good. It's nice to have an Indian restaurant in town and I hope people give it a try. read more

Was pleasantly surprised!! Visiting family for the holiday, was looking for Indian food, and found Little India online. We found the address ... and we're about to drive by.... it was dark and looked like it was in the parking lot of a UHaul center.... But so glad we stopped. The proprietor was onsite and super helpful and the food was as good of Indian as we've ever had (and we've eaten A LOT). Don't let this place fool you. Sure, it's a little scary when you pull up, after you've navigated the streets of Twin Falls and pull into their parking lot that is surrounded by chain link fence. And of course it's inside a grocery store. But seriously, take a chance on this little place! The menu is relatively small, but offer some of your staple Indian foods, such as nan, lamb and chicken curry. I had both the butter and herb lamb and the curry lamb. Both were excellent. I couldn't decide which was my favorite. They also offer a few Asian dishes, such as Pho, teryaki bowls and fresh spring rolls. I wanted to try the spring rolls, but they were sold out! So they must be good! We will definitely be returning. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired, but the food will keep you coming back. Consider them for take-out if you don't want to sit inside the store and eat your meal. :) The owners/servers were sweeter than pie, too. read more

Impressive palak paneer (though more cream based than most--I think of it as a spinach and cheese dish and this one had a lot of red sauce) and delicious lamb curry. Solid fresh naan.
