    Spicy Garlic Edamame $7

I wish I had taken more photos, but no worries, I'll definitely be returning to this restaurant. This sushi spot has a beautiful and the service was phenomenal. Now, to move on to what truly makes it a five-star location. I'm happy to say I was able to find yet another sushi spot that provided reasonably priced sushi with top-grade quality plates. We decided to go halves on an appetiser and a sushi roll. Both were so good. I am not a huge garlic lover, but it was well balanced with the chili, it evens out on the edamame. As for the roll, the ingredients were all fresh, and I was a huge fan of the yellowtail! Garlic Spicy Edamame $7 -Salted young soy beans served still in the pod with garlic seasoning Snow Mountain Roll $18 -Yellowtail roll topped with tuna and crabmeat, drizzled with spicy mayo and eel sauce **An important note: it's not easy to spot **

I have been to Little Katana twice now and I definitely plan on going back. Each time I have went, the staff was extremely polite with amazing service. On my first trip, the restaurant was so busy there were only three open tables. The second time I went, I chose to go later in the afternoon on a weekday and my friend and I had the place almost completely to ourselves. The atmosphere is very nice here where I think it would be good for a small group or a date. It has the right balance between an intimate classy establishment and a casual meet up place for a few friends. I went around Christmas time and the decor was really cute and not overdone. The food was amazing, and I would say it was reasonably priced. My dad loves this place because of how healthy fish is and that he can eat it with his special diet plan due to medical reasons. I have also tried the crystal roll (no rice), eel, and tuna, all of which were amazing. I absolutely plan on visiting again.

It's a tall order any time I'm told that a certain restaurant will undoubtedly become my new favorite place once I've been there. But since that's how Little Katana was sold to me, they were under extra scrutiny during my recent visit on a busy Saturday night. Things were off to a good start walking into a clean and cozy, minimalistic dining area. I also liked that they have an extensive menu which includes every type of sushi and sashimi you could want and more. Everyone in our group of 4 has such different preferences that we ended up ordering a decent variety of dishes. The Yellowtail Heaven appetizer and a sashimi boat were first. The boat's contents are kind of a mystery since they're simply described as "chef's choice" on the menu. It sounded interesting, yet a little worrisome at the same time, but we were feeling adventurous so we went for it. Fortunately, everything in it turned out to be wonderful, as was the Yellowtail Heaven. The rolls that followed -rainbow, spider, crunch, fire and shrimp tempura - were all equally as delicious. Each was made with noticeably fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Sake was a must so we got a bottle of peach and a bottle of pineapple to share. These, too, were tasty and provided some nice sweetness to complement the savory food and salty soy sauce. Even though it was a fantastic meal all around, I can't give them 5 stars due to the steep prices. Our bill came to nearly $375 after tax and tip. Now I'm not opposed to paying more for high quality food and service, but when it's a king's ransom I have to draw the line. Therefore, this is a place that I would only consider for very special occasions.

Came here Sunday around noon. I was quickly greeted and seated. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly. The sizzling dumplings were sizzling for real. Good amount of filling and very flavorful. The salmon poke bowl was a generous portion, everything tasted fresh.

The service was amazing, the servers were so very friendly and kind and well spoken. The ambiance was great as well. I really like the open sushi bar that was great. And food was top notch. It was my first time trying Japanese food, it was not disappointing. I'll have to come and eat again to acquire the taste for sushi and raw fish for sure.

I'd heard good reviews about this place and agree now. My only regret is not trying them sooner. We walked in and were surprised it was happy hour! Restaurant was full, but service was top notch. Sushi was delicious, fresh and came out quickly as they had 4 sushi chefs. Go by yourself, with friends, family or on a date - just go!

Just a couple of miles from where we live; the food was great; the ambience quiet; and the price tag was not too out of our budget. If I buy fried rice, I usually eat a quarter of the portion especially because of my fears of my sugars shooting up. Their Japanese Shrimp Fried Rice was so good that I ate everything on the plate. I guess I will have to deal with my sugars at night! The server was very courteous and the service was very prompt.

Great find in our backyard. Nestled in the back of a shopping center, this place is always busy and now I know why. Really good Japanese and Asian food and the servers work really hard to ensure you have what you need. The sizzling dumplings have amazing flavor and are paired perfectly with the two sauces. The jalapeño popper was homemade and huge. I only needed one so definitely share. Sushi was good and you can just go to the sushi bar if you choose. They do have happy hour which is a plus. Food comes out fast and is always warm and good. We will make this a favorite.

I had a few rolls and let me tell you everything was AMAZING. It's my first time in Texas and their sushi is amazing. I'm so pleased & very satisfied with my choice of dinner tonight. Very kind woman on the phone order as well. It's very appreciated.

Spicy tuna was just ok. - Sushi Burrito: $7.99: fried california rolls with a teriyaki glaze? I guess I should have read the description better. I've never had a fried burrito, so what showed up threw me off. Very salty. - Beef teriyaki and shrimp/vegtable tempura, with potstickers $16.99: Served with 4 shrimp! Also served on a plastic to go tray, which is weird, but maybe this reduces waste if most people end up with leftovers? It is a lot of food! Beef was a small portion but good flavor. I definitely ordered too much food for one person, but I wanted to try a few different things. Overall, the tempura was my favorite, but you can get that at a lot of places. The Spicy Tuna Tower was prettier than it tasted. Unfortunately, my standards are higher, coming from the Bay Area. Everything was just really salty and I ended up drinking a lot of water. On the bright side, the ambiance is nice and the service was excellent.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.
