Udon combo (everything pictured) for only $9.99!
    Shini X.

My friend and I stumbled upon this cozy hole-in-the wall Japanese restaurant while looking for a place for dinner after a day of shopping nearby and we were so glad we stopped by! 4/5 FOOD/DRINK If you're craving Japanese food on a budget, this is your place! I think the best way to describe their food is that it's simple and no-frills--if you're looking for fancy high quality Japanese restaurant food, then this place isn't it, but if you just want simple, home-style Japanese food then I would recommend this place! The portions are incredibly generous and the prices are shockingly very affordable--I was able to order an entree and sushi roll for under $25! I had the udon combo which included a plain bowl of udon noodles, 2 pieces of shrimp tempura, and 4 pieces of California roll all for just $9.99. Most of their sushi rolls are under $10. I also ordered one of their sushi combo sets to go and the sashimi to rice ratio was very generous. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from, ranging from various appetizers, sushi, sashimi, noodles, rice bowls, bento boxes, and fried rice dishes so if you're in the mood for Japanese food but aren't sure what to have, there's plenty offered and you're bound to find something that suits your craving! Of note, I did not see any "specialty" drinks on the menu and it seems that the only drinks available for purchase are the ones in the refrigerator next to the counter (ie. packaged/bottled drinks only). There is a free self serve water station which includes a portable ice cube maker and the water tasted fine. 5/5 AMBIENCE My friend and I showed up around 7 pm on a Saturday and were the only ones dining in for the ~1.5 hours that we were in the restaurant. Again, the restaurant is very much a hole-in-the-wall small place but was clean (including the bathroom) and had a cozy ambience. Even though we were the only diners, there was a steady stream of people coming in and out to pick up carryout orders. 5/5 SERVICE This place is self seating and you go up to the counter when you are ready to order (menus are available at the counter which you can take and bring back to your seat to view). Payment is up front at the time of placing your order. Staff were all very friendly and service time was appropriate. 5/5 PARKING Since the restaurant is located within the strip mall, there's plenty of free parking nearby, although parking immediately in front of the restaurant can be limited since they are located near the tail end of the strip mall.

I had Edohana delivered to a nearby hotel but let me tell you I had the best experience and the food was delicious! Upon placing the order the restaurant called and verified a few things, she was unbelievably kind and wanted everything to be perfect. I appreciated that. The jalapeños were so flavorful and crispy, I loved them. The rolls were fresh and exactly like I ordered them. Everything was packaged nicely and included everything you would need to enjoy the deal. 100% recommend!

This is so good! Mind you I ordered on DoorDash and it's still delectable. I got a crunchy salmon roll 10/10 so intricate and layered but so good. I also got the sushi F roll which is a salmon based combo roll and also so rich and good.

    Chicken teriyaki...

Rainbow Sushi roll has no taste. Very blands. Fish does not taste fresh at all. Chicken teriyaki was bad. Dry and sauce is awful. Even tempura came with bento was not good. Maybe they used left over from last night.... This is review from Asian. I had tons of Japanese food before. Yet this is bad. i mean bad really.. I think my stomach is getting sick as i writing this review. Pic is my teriyaki chicken. I think i am gonna trash it.

Great prices and great food. Got the miami, Tiger and baked salmon roll. Good customer service and bottled water was only 50 cents lol apple maps led us to a different location so I recommend using Google maps. Total came out to ~$25.

This was one of my favorite sushi places pre Covid. It was my first time back since the pandemic. They provide large portions and the service was really quick. The food was delicious. It was my first time having the drink - the melon Ramune. The drink was a little complicated to open, so read the directions before opening. I will definitely be back. Because the portion are large you will probably have food left over.

I have been to Edohana a couple of times and they never disappoint! I was happy to be back after being away for a couple of months due to Covid! They are limiting the amount of tables they can use in order to practice social distancing. They take your order at the register and you pay right away to avoid any more time spent in front of each other. They do sanitize the tables and sauce bottles in between each customer. When it comes to the sushi- I always grab my go to- the temptation roll! It NEVER disappoints. If you like calamari, I recommend their calamari roll. Honestly- any roll you can't ever go wrong with!

    Love the ahi tuna tower!!!

It was pretty quiet and I was able to pick a few items and watch the Olympics on a TV. They had lots of sushi options, as well as hot food items. Spicy tuna was just ok. - Sushi Burrito: $7.99: fried california rolls with a teriyaki glaze? I guess I should have read the description better. I've never had a fried burrito, so what showed up threw me off. Very salty. - Beef teriyaki and shrimp/vegtable tempura, with potstickers $16.99: Served with 4 shrimp! Also served on a plastic to go tray, which is weird, but maybe this reduces waste if most people end up with leftovers? It is a lot of food! Beef was a small portion but good flavor. I definitely ordered too much food for one person, but I wanted to try a few different things. Overall, the tempura was my favorite, but you can get that at a lot of places. The Spicy Tuna Tower was prettier than it tasted. Unfortunately, my standards are higher, coming from the Bay Area. Everything was just really salty and I ended up drinking a lot of water. On the bright side, the ambiance is nice and the service was excellent.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!

I'm glad I went; they are an all-you-can-eat restaurant. When you arrive, you're greeted by the host, then seated, and they explain the menu and prices, which are actually quite reasonable. They are open from 11:00 to 14:30 for lunch, then reopen at 16:30 to close. The place looks amazing, decorated in authentic Japanese style. Huy, my server, was just fantastic. He explained how everything works and had this great energy about him. He even helped with some recommendations: the Ocean, 911 roll, and the Hot Night roll--all of which are amazing, so I recommend trying those. Also, if you go, ask for Huy. It was SOOOO LOUD though. just so many people and loud. Hard to have a conversation. Got the crab cake salad ($34). The crab cake itself was legit. I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.
